Die Weisheit! Ruft sie nicht? Und Einsicht läßt sich hören
¿NO clama la sabiduría, y da su voz la inteligencia?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
am Weg ganz oben auf den Höhen; an Scheidewegen tritt sie auf.
En los altos cabezos, junto al camino, á las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
Beim Eingang in die Stadt, an ihren Toren, am Eingang zu den Pforten ruft sie aus:
En el lugar de las puertas, á la entrada de la ciudad, á la entrada de las puertas da voces:
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
"Zu euch, ihr Männer, rede ich; ich spreche zu den Menschenkindern:
Oh hombres, á vosotros clamo; y mi voz es á los hijos de los hombres.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
Ihr Einfältigen, lernet Klugheit! Ihr Toren, kommet zur Vernunft!
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
Hört zu! Denn ich will Rechtes reden, und meiner Rede Inhalt ist, was richtig.
Oid, porque hablaré cosas excelentes; y abriré mis labios para cosas rectas.
Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

das Richtige für alle, die da fragen, und recht für die, die suchen nach Erkenntnis.

Nimm meine Mahnung lieber an als Silber, Erkenntnis lieber als erlesenes Gold. -

Die Furcht des Herrn verträgt sich nicht mit Bösem. Ich hasse Hochmut, Hoffart, schlimmen Wandel sowie verkehrtes Reden.
El temor de Jehová es aborrecer el mal; la soberbia y la arrogancia, y el mal camino y la boca perversa, aborrezco.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Mein ist der Rat, die Tüchtigkeit; Einsicht ist mein und mein die Stärke.

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

Zur Seite war ich ihm als Schülerin und diente zur Ergötzung Tag für Tag und spielte vor ihm jede Zeit
Con él estaba yo ordenándolo todo; y fuí su delicia todos los días, teniendo solaz delante de él en todo tiempo.
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Huélgome en la parte habitable de su tierra; y mis delicias son con los hijos de los hombres.

"Nun, meine Söhne, hört auf mich! Heil denen, die meine Wege wählen!
Ahora pues, hijos, oidme; y bienaventurados los que guardaren mis caminos.

Auf Mahnung hört, auf daß ihr weise werdet! Schlagt sie nicht in den Wind!
Atended el consejo, y sed sabios, y no lo menospreciéis.
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Heil sei den Menschen, die mich hören und Tag für Tag an meinen Türen wachen und meiner Tore Pfosten hüten!
Bienaventurado el hombre que me oye, velando á mis puertas cada día, guardando los umbrales de mis entradas.
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Denn wer mich findet, findet Leben, und von dem Herrn empfängt er alles Nötige.
