car ils vous ajouteront la durée des jours, années de vie, et de paix.
Porque largura de días, y años de vida y paz te aumentarán.
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Ne laissez pas la bonté et la vérité vous abandonner. Attachez-les autour de votre cou. Écris-les sur la tablette de ton cœur.
Misericordia y verdad no te desamparen; átalas á tu cuello, escríbelas en la tabla de tu corazón:
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Ainsi, vous trouverez la faveur, et une bonne compréhension aux yeux de Dieu et des hommes.
Y hallarás gracia y buena opinión en los ojos de Dios y de los hombres.
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Fais confiance à Yahvé de tout ton cœur, et ne vous appuyez pas sur votre propre compréhension.
Fíate de Jehová de todo tu corazón, y no estribes en tu prudencia.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Dans toutes tes voies, reconnais-le, et il rendra vos chemins droits.
Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus veredas.

Ne sois pas sage à tes propres yeux. Craignez Yahvé, et éloignez-vous du mal.
No seas sabio en tu opinión: teme á Jehová, y apártate del mal;
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Il sera sain pour votre corps, et de la nourriture pour vos os.
Porque será medicina á tu ombligo, y tuétano á tus huesos.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.
Honorez Yahvé par vos biens, avec les prémices de toute votre production ;
Honra á Jehová de tu sustancia, y de las primicias de todos tus frutos;
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

ainsi vos granges seront remplies d'abondance, et vos cuves déborderont de vin nouveau.
Y serán llenas tus trojes con abundancia, y tus lagares rebosarán de mosto.
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Mon fils, ne méprise pas la discipline de Yahvé, et ne vous lassez pas de sa correction ;
No deseches, hijo mío, el castigo de Jehová; ni te fatigues de su corrección:
My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
My son, don’t despise the LORD’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;
car celui que Yahvé aime, il le corrige, comme un père reprend le fils dont il se réjouit.
Porque al que ama castiga, como el padre al hijo á quien quiere.
For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
for whom the LORD loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.
Heureux l'homme qui trouve la sagesse, l'homme qui comprend.
Bienaventurado el hombre que halla la sabiduría, y que obtiene la inteligencia:
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Pour elle, un bon profit vaut mieux que de l'argent, et son retour est meilleur que l'or fin.
Porque su mercadería es mejor que la mercadería de la plata, y sus frutos más que el oro fino.
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.
Elle est plus précieuse que les rubis. Aucune des choses que vous pouvez désirer ne doit être comparée à elle.
Más preciosa es que las piedras preciosas; y todo lo que puedes desear, no se puede comparar á ella.

La longueur des jours est dans sa main droite. Dans sa main gauche se trouvent les richesses et l'honneur.
Largura de días está en su mano derecha; en su izquierda riquezas y honra.

Ses voies sont des voies agréables. Tous ses chemins sont la paix.

C'est par la sagesse que Yahvé a fondé la terre. Par l'intelligence, il a établi les cieux.

Mon fils, qu'ils ne s'éloignent pas de tes yeux. Gardez la sagesse et la discrétion,
Hijo mío, no se aparten estas cosas de tus ojos; guarda la ley y el consejo;
My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion,
ainsi ils seront la vie de ton âme, et la grâce pour votre cou.
Y serán vida á tu alma, y gracia á tu cuello.
So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

Alors tu marcheras dans ta voie en toute sécurité. Votre pied ne trébuchera pas.
Entonces andarás por tu camino confiadamente, y tu pie no tropezará.
Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.
Quand tu te coucheras, tu n'auras pas peur. Oui, tu te coucheras, et ton sommeil sera doux.
Cuando te acostares, no tendrás temor; antes te acostarás, y tu sueño será suave.
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.
Ne craignez pas la peur soudaine, ni de la désolation des méchants, quand elle viendra ;
No tendrás temor de pavor repentino, ni de la ruina de los impíos cuando viniere:
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

car Yahvé sera ton assurance, et empêchera votre pied d'être pris.
Porque Jehová será tu confianza, y él preservará tu pie de ser preso.
For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.
Ne refusez pas le bien à ceux à qui il est dû, quand il est dans le pouvoir de votre main de le faire.
No detengas el bien de sus dueños, cuando tuvieres poder para hacerlo.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Ne dis pas à ton prochain : « Va, et reviens ; demain je te le donnerai, » quand vous l'avez près de vous.
No digas á tu prójimo: Ve, y vuelve, y mañana te daré; cuando tienes contigo qué darle.
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,” when you have it by you.
Ne médite pas le mal contre ton prochain, puisqu'il habite en sécurité près de vous.
No intentes mal contra tu prójimo, estando él confiado de ti.
Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
Don’t devise evil against your neighbor, since he dwells securely by you.
Ne vous disputez pas avec un homme sans raison, s'il ne vous a fait aucun mal.
No pleitees con alguno sin razón, si él no te ha hecho agravio.
Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
Don’t strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.
N'enviez pas l'homme de violence. Ne choisissez aucune de ses voies.
No envidies al hombre injusto, ni escojas alguno de sus caminos.
Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

Car le pervers est une abomination pour Yahvé, mais son amitié est avec les honnêtes gens.
Porque el perverso es abominado de Jehová: mas su secreto es con los rectos.
For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.
For the perverse is an abomination to the LORD, but his friendship is with the upright.
La malédiction de Yahvé est dans la maison des méchants, mais il bénit la demeure des justes.
La maldición de Jehová está en la casa del impío; mas él bendecirá la morada de los justos.
The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
The LORD’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.
Certes, il se moque des moqueurs, mais il donne la grâce aux humbles.
Ciertamente él escarnecerá á los escarnecedores, y á los humildes dará gracia.
Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

Les sages hériteront de la gloire, mais la honte sera la promotion des imbéciles.
