Nova Bíblia Viva
1O homem que é corrigido muitas vezes e não muda seu comportamento errado será derrubado violentamente, de repente, e não haverá recuperação para ele.
2Quando o governo é formado de homens justos e honestos, o povo vive feliz, mas quando os líderes de uma nação são maus, o povo chora de tristeza.
3Um jovem ajuizado traz alegria ao seu pai, mas o jovem que vive correndo atrás de prostitutas joga na lama as riquezas da família.
4Um rei justo ajuda seu país a crescer e viver em paz, mas o rei que quer ficar rico à custa do povo acaba destruindo sua nação.
5Quem faz elogios falsos a seu amigo está preparando uma armadilha para si mesmo.
6No pecado do homem mau há uma armadilha, mas o justo está seguro e canta de alegria.
7O justo se preocupa em conhecer as necessidades e direitos dos pobres, mas o perverso não se importa com essas coisas.
8Os irresponsáveis armam confusões por toda parte, mas os sábios procuram ajudar os outros a viver em paz.
9Discutir com um tolo irresponsável não adianta nada! O resultado será sempre o mesmo: ele fica furioso ou zomba do que você diz.
10Os violentos odeiam o homem sincero e bondoso, mas os justos procuram proteger a vida desse homem.
11O tolo explode em gritos quando está furioso, mas o homem de bom senso controla suas reações.
12Quando um rei acredita em homens mentirosos, todos os oficiais acabam se tornando maus.
13O pobre e aquele que explora os outros têm uma coisa em comum: O Senhor deu vista a ambos.
14Um rei que não despreza os pobres para dar vantagens aos ricos ficará muito tempo no trono.
15A vara da correção dá sabedoria, mas a criança que sempre faz o que deseja envergonha a sua mãe.
16Quando os maus se multiplicam, multiplica-se o pecado, mas os justos verão a sua queda.
17Castigue o seu filho quando for necessário, e ele dará descanso e tranquilidade à sua alma.
18Quando não se pode contar ao povo os mandamentos de Deus, a sociedade vai de mal a pior; quando o povo obedece à lei, ele vive feliz.
19Para corrigir o escravo você precisa algo mais do que simples palavras, porque ele não leva a sério o que você diz.
20Há mais esperança na vida para um irresponsável do que para um homem que se precipita para falar.
21Se você dá muitas vantagens ao seu escravo, depois de algum tempo ele vai querer ser tratado como um filho, com direito à herança.
22O homem irado provoca brigas, e o de gênio violento comete muitos pecados.
23O homem é derrubado pelo seu orgulho, mas o de espírito humilde será respeitado.
24O homem que esconde um ladrão das autoridades está fazendo mal a si mesmo; acabará sendo condenado ao mesmo castigo que o ladrão!
25Quem tem medo dos homens cai em armadilhas, mas quem confia no Senhor vive tranquilo, pois sabe que está bem protegido.
26Não vá pedir favores às autoridades! Peça ao Senhor que é justo.
27Os justos odeiam a maldade dos perversos, já os perversos odeiam a justiça dos justos.

1EL hombre que reprendido endurece la cerviz, de repente será quebrantado; ni habrá para él medicina.
2Cuando los justos dominan, el pueblo se alegra: mas cuando domina el impío, el pueblo gime.
3El hombre que ama la sabiduría, alegra á su padre: mas el que mantiene rameras, perderá la hacienda.
4El rey con el juicio afirma la tierra: mas el hombre de presentes la destruirá.
5El hombre que lisonjea á su prójimo, red tiende delante de sus pasos.
6En la prevaricación del hombre malo hay lazo: mas el justo cantará y se alegrará.
7Conoce el justo la causa de los pobres: mas el impío no entiende sabiduría.
8Los hombres escarnecedores enlazan la ciudad: mas los sabios apartan la ira.
9Si el hombre sabio contendiere con el necio, que se enoje ó que se ría, no tendrá reposo.
10Los hombres sanguinarios aborrecen al perfecto: mas los rectos buscan su contentamiento.
11El necio da suelta á todo su espíritu; mas el sabio al fin le sosiega.
12Del señor que escucha la palabra mentirosa, todos sus ministros son impíos.
13El pobre y el usurero se encontraron: Jehová alumbra los ojos de ambos.
14El rey que juzga con verdad á los pobres, su trono será firme para siempre.
15La vara y la corrección dan sabiduría: mas el muchacho consentido avergonzará á su madre.
16Cuando los impíos son muchos, mucha es la prevaricación; mas los justos verán la ruina de ellos.
17Corrige á tu hijo, y te dará descanso, y dará deleite á tu alma.
18Sin profecía el pueblo será disipado: mas el que guarda la ley, bienaventurado él.
19El siervo no se corregirá con palabras: porque entiende, mas no corresponde.
20¿Has visto hombre ligero en sus palabras? más esperanza hay del necio que de él.
21El que regala á su siervo desde su niñez, á la postre será su hijo.
22El hombre iracundo levanta contiendas; y el furioso muchas veces peca.
23La soberbia del hombre le abate; pero al humilde de espíritu sustenta la honra.
24El aparcero del ladrón aborrece su vida; oirá maldiciones, y no lo denunciará.
25El temor del hombre pondrá lazo: mas el que confía en Jehová será levantado.
26Muchos buscan el favor del príncipe: mas de Jehová viene el juicio de cada uno.
27Abominación es á los justos el hombre inicuo; y abominación es al impío el de rectos caminos.

1He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
3Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
4The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
5A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
6In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
7The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
8Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
9If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
10The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
11A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
12If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
13The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
14The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
15The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
16When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
17Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
18Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
19A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
20Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
21He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
22An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
23A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
24Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
25The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
26Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD.
27An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

1He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.
2When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.
3Whoever loves wisdom brings joy to his father; but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
4The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down.
5A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet.
6An evil man is snared by his sin, but the righteous can sing and be glad.
7The righteous care about justice for the poor. The wicked aren’t concerned about knowledge.
8Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.
9If a wise man goes to court with a foolish man, the fool rages or scoffs, and there is no peace.
10The bloodthirsty hate a man of integrity; and they seek the life of the upright.
11A fool vents all of his anger, but a wise man brings himself under control.
12If a ruler listens to lies, all of his officials are wicked.
13The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives sight to the eyes of both.
14The king who fairly judges the poor, his throne shall be established forever.
15The rod of correction gives wisdom, but a child left to himself causes shame to his mother.
16When the wicked increase, sin increases; but the righteous will see their downfall.
17Correct your son, and he will give you peace; yes, he will bring delight to your soul.
18Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but one who keeps the law is blessed.
19A servant can’t be corrected by words. Though he understands, yet he will not respond.
20Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
21He who pampers his servant from youth will have him become a son in the end.
22An angry man stirs up strife, and a wrathful man abounds in sin.
23A man’s pride brings him low, but one of lowly spirit gains honor.
24Whoever is an accomplice of a thief is an enemy of his own soul. He takes an oath, but dares not testify.
25The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the LORD is kept safe.
26Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man’s justice comes from the LORD.
27A dishonest man detests the righteous, and the upright in their ways detest the wicked.
