1Os corruptos fogem quando ninguém os persegue, mas os justos são ousados como um leão jovem.
2Por causa da transgressão da terra, ela possui muitos governantes, mas, com um homem de entendimento e conhecimento, ela durará muito tempo.
3O pobre que oprime outro pobre é como chuva forte que não deixa alimento.
4Aqueles que abandonam a lei elogiam os corruptos, mas aqueles que guardam a lei lutam contra eles.
5Os homens maus não entendem a justiça, mas aqueles que buscam a Yahweh entendem tudo.
6É melhor o pobre que anda em sua integridade que o rico que é tortuoso em seus caminhos.
7Aquele que guarda a lei é um filho com entendimento, mas aquele que é companheiro dos gulosos envergonha seu pai.
8Aquele que faz sua fortuna cobrando muitos juros ajunta sua riqueza para outro que terá compaixão dos pobres.
9Se alguém desvia o ouvido de ouvir a lei, até a sua oração é detestável.
10Quem fizer desviar o justo para o mau caminho cairá em sua própria cova, mas os irrepreensíveis terão uma boa herança.
11O rico é sábio aos seus próprios olhos, mas o pobre que tem entendimento o avaliará.
12Quando os justos triunfam, há grande glória, mas, quando os corruptos se levantam, o povo se esconde.
13Aquele que esconde seus pecados não prosperará, mas aquele que os confessa e os abandona alcançará misericórdia.
14Abençoado será aquele que sempre vive com reverência, mas quem endurece seu coração cairá em dificuldades.
15Como um leão rugindo ou um urso quando ataca, assim é o governante corrupto sobre os pobres.
16O governante a quem falta entendimento é um opressor cruel, mas aquele que odeia a desonestidade prolongará seus dias.
17Se um homem é culpado porque derramou o sangue de alguém, ele será um fugitivo até a morte, e ninguém o ajudará.
18Quem caminha com integridade será mantido a salvo, mas aquele que tem o caminho torto cairá logo.
19Aquele que lavra a sua terra terá muita comida, mas quem segue objetivos inúteis terá muita pobreza.
20O homem fiel terá grandes bênçãos, mas aquele que se enriquece rapidamente não ficará impune.
21Não é bom mostrar parcialidade, mas, por um pedaço de pão, o homem cometerá uma transgressão.
22O homem mesquinho corre atrás de riquezas, mas ele não sabe que a pobreza virá sobre ele.
23Quem repreende alguém alcançará dele mais favor do que alguém que o bajule com sua língua.
24Qualquer um que rouba seu pai e sua mãe e diz: "Isso não é pecado", esse é companheiro do que destrói.
25O homem ganancioso provoca conflitos, mas o que confia em Yahweh prosperará.
26Aquele que confia em seu próprio coração é um tolo, mas quem anda em sabedoria será mantido longe do perigo.
27Àquele que dá aos pobres não lhe faltará nada, mas quem fecha os olhos para eles receberá muitas maldições.
28Quando os corruptos se levantam, o povo se esconde, mas quando eles perecem, os justos aumentam.

1HUYE el impío sin que nadie lo persiga: mas el justo está confiado como un leoncillo.
2Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos: mas por el hombre entendido y sabio permanecerá sin mutación.
3El hombre pobre y robador de los pobres, es lluvia de avenida y sin pan.
4Los que dejan la ley, alaban á los impíos: mas los que la guardan, contenderán con ellos.
5Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio: mas los que buscan á Jehová, entienden todas las cosas.
6Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad, que el de perversos caminos, y rico.
7El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente: mas el que es compañero de glotones, avergüenza á su padre.
8El que aumenta sus riquezas con usura y crecido interés, para que se dé á los pobres lo allega.
9El que aparta su oído para no oir la ley, su oración también es abominable.
10El que hace errar á los rectos por el mal camino, él caerá en su misma sima: mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
11El hombre rico es sabio en su opinión: mas el pobre entendido lo examinará.
12Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria; mas cuando los impíos son levantados, es buscado el hombre.
13El que encubre sus pecados, no prosperará: mas el que los confiesa y se aparta, alcanzará misericordia.
14Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre está temeroso: mas el que endurece su corazón, caerá en mal.
15León rugiente y oso hambriento, es el príncipe impío sobre el pueblo pobre.
16El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará los agravios: mas el que aborrece la avaricia, prolongará sus días.
17El hombre que hace violencia con sangre de persona, huirá hasta el sepulcro, y nadie le detendrá.
18El que en integridad camina, será salvo; mas el de perversos caminos caerá en alguno.
19El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: mas el que sigue los ociosos, se hartará de pobreza.
20El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones: mas el que se apresura á enriquecer, no será sin culpa.
21Tener acepción de personas, no es bueno: hasta por un bocado de pan prevaricará el hombre.
22Apresúrase á ser rico el hombre de mal ojo; y no conoce que le ha de venir pobreza.
23El que reprende al hombre, hallará después mayor gracia que el que lisonjea con la lengua.
24El que roba á su padre ó á su madre, y dice que no es maldad, compañero es del hombre destruidor.
25El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas: mas el que en Jehová confía, medrará.
26El que confía en su corazón es necio; mas el que camina en sabiduría, será salvo.
27El que da al pobre, no tendrá pobreza: mas el que aparta sus ojos, tendrá muchas maldiciones.
28Cuando los impíos son levantados, esconderáse el hombre: mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.

1The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
11The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
12When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
14Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
15As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
16The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
17A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

26He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
27He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

8He who increases his wealth by excessive interest gathers it for one who has pity on the poor.

10Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he will fall into his own trap; but the blameless will inherit good.
11The rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor who has understanding sees through him.

13He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
14Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.

16A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill-gotten gain will have long days.
17A man who is tormented by blood guilt will be a fugitive until death. No one will support him.
18Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.
19One who works his land will have an abundance of food; but one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
20A faithful man is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.
21To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread.
22A stingy man hurries after riches, and doesn’t know that poverty waits for him.
23One who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor than one who flatters with the tongue.
24Whoever robs his father or his mother and says, “It’s not wrong,” is a partner with a destroyer.
25One who is greedy stirs up strife; but one who trusts in the LORD will prosper.
26One who trusts in himself is a fool; but one who walks in wisdom is kept safe.
