Proverbios 28

1Die das Gesetz verlassen, loben den Gottlosen; die es aber bewahren, sind unwillig auf sie.
2Böse Leute merken nicht aufs Recht; die aber nach dem HERRN fragen, merken auf alles.
3Es ist besser ein Armer, der in seiner Frömmigkeit gehet, denn ein Reicher, der in verkehrten Wegen gehet.
4Wer das Gesetz bewahret, ist ein verständig Kind; wer aber Schlemmer nähret, schändet seinen Vater.
5Wer sein Gut mehret mit Wucher und Übersatz, der sammelt es zu Nutz der Armen.
6Wer sein Ohr abwendet, zu hören das Gesetz, des Gebet ist ein Greuel.
7Wer die Frommen verführet auf bösem Wege, der wird in seine Grube fallen; aber die Frommen werden Gutes ererben.
8Ein Reicher dünkt sich weise sein; aber ein armer Verständiger merkt ihn.
9Wenn die Gerechten überhand haben, so gehet es sehr fein zu; wenn aber Gottlose aufkommen, wendet sich's unter den Leuten.
10Wer seine Missetat leugnet, dem wird's nicht gelingen; wer sie aber bekennet und lässet, der wird Barmherzigkeit erlangen.
11Wohl dem, der sich allewege fürchtet! Wer aber halsstarrig ist, wird in Unglück fallen.
12Ein Gottloser, der über ein arm Volk regieret, das ist ein brüllender Löwe und gieriger Bär.
13Wenn ein Fürst ohne Verstand ist, so geschiehet viel Unrechts; wer aber den Geiz hasset, der wird lange leben.
14Ein Mensch, der am Blut einer Seele unrecht tut, der wird nicht erhalten, ob er auch in die Hölle führe.
15Wer fromm einhergehet, wird genesen; wer aber verkehrtes Weges ist, wird auf einmal zerfallen.
16Wer seinen Acker bauet, wird Brots genug haben; wer aber Müßiggang nachgehet, wird Armuts genug haben.
17Ein treuer Mann wird viel gesegnet; wer aber eilet, reich zu werden, wird nicht unschuldig bleiben.
18Person ansehen ist nicht gut; denn er täte übel auch wohl um ein Stück Brots.
19Wer eilet zum Reichtum und ist neidisch, der weiß nicht, daß ihm Unfall begegnen wird.
20Wer einen Menschen straft, wird hernach Gunst finden, denn der da heuchelt.
21Wer seinem Vater oder Mutter nimmt und spricht, es sei nicht Sünde, der ist des Verderbers Geselle.
22Ein Stolzer erweckt Zank; wer aber auf den HERRN sich verläßt, wird fett.
23Wer sich auf sein Herz verläßt, ist ein Narr; wer aber mit Weisheit gehet, wird entrinnen.
24Wer dem Armen gibt, dem wird nicht mangeln; wer aber seine Augen abwendet, der wird sehr verderben.
25Wenn die Gottlosen aufkommen, so verbergen sich die Leute; wenn sie aber umkommen, wird der Gerechten viel.
26Wer wider die Strafe halsstarrig, ist, der wird plötzlich verderben ohne alle Hilfe.
27Wenn der Gerechten viel ist, freuet sich das Volk; wenn aber der Gottlose herrschet, seufzet das Volk.
28Wer Weisheit liebet, erfreuet seinen Vater; wer aber mit Huren sich nähret, kommt um sein Gut.

1HUYE el impío sin que nadie lo persiga: mas el justo está confiado como un leoncillo.
2Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos: mas por el hombre entendido y sabio permanecerá sin mutación.
3El hombre pobre y robador de los pobres, es lluvia de avenida y sin pan.
4Los que dejan la ley, alaban á los impíos: mas los que la guardan, contenderán con ellos.
5Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio: mas los que buscan á Jehová, entienden todas las cosas.
6Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad, que el de perversos caminos, y rico.
7El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente: mas el que es compañero de glotones, avergüenza á su padre.
8El que aumenta sus riquezas con usura y crecido interés, para que se dé á los pobres lo allega.
9El que aparta su oído para no oir la ley, su oración también es abominable.
10El que hace errar á los rectos por el mal camino, él caerá en su misma sima: mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
11El hombre rico es sabio en su opinión: mas el pobre entendido lo examinará.
12Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria; mas cuando los impíos son levantados, es buscado el hombre.
13El que encubre sus pecados, no prosperará: mas el que los confiesa y se aparta, alcanzará misericordia.
14Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre está temeroso: mas el que endurece su corazón, caerá en mal.
15León rugiente y oso hambriento, es el príncipe impío sobre el pueblo pobre.
16El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará los agravios: mas el que aborrece la avaricia, prolongará sus días.
17El hombre que hace violencia con sangre de persona, huirá hasta el sepulcro, y nadie le detendrá.
18El que en integridad camina, será salvo; mas el de perversos caminos caerá en alguno.
19El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: mas el que sigue los ociosos, se hartará de pobreza.
20El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones: mas el que se apresura á enriquecer, no será sin culpa.
21Tener acepción de personas, no es bueno: hasta por un bocado de pan prevaricará el hombre.
22Apresúrase á ser rico el hombre de mal ojo; y no conoce que le ha de venir pobreza.
23El que reprende al hombre, hallará después mayor gracia que el que lisonjea con la lengua.
24El que roba á su padre ó á su madre, y dice que no es maldad, compañero es del hombre destruidor.
25El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas: mas el que en Jehová confía, medrará.
26El que confía en su corazón es necio; mas el que camina en sabiduría, será salvo.
27El que da al pobre, no tendrá pobreza: mas el que aparta sus ojos, tendrá muchas maldiciones.
28Cuando los impíos son levantados, esconderáse el hombre: mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.

1The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
11The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
12When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
14Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
15As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
16The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
17A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
19He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
20A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
21To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
22He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
24Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
25He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
26He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

5Evil men don’t understand justice; but those who seek the LORD understand it fully.
6Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich.
7Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; but he who is a companion of gluttons shames his father.
8He who increases his wealth by excessive interest gathers it for one who has pity on the poor.

10Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he will fall into his own trap; but the blameless will inherit good.
11The rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor who has understanding sees through him.
12When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.
13He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
14Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.
15As a roaring lion or a charging bear, so is a wicked ruler over helpless people.
16A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill-gotten gain will have long days.
17A man who is tormented by blood guilt will be a fugitive until death. No one will support him.
18Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.
19One who works his land will have an abundance of food; but one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
20A faithful man is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.
21To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread.
22A stingy man hurries after riches, and doesn’t know that poverty waits for him.
23One who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor than one who flatters with the tongue.
24Whoever robs his father or his mother and says, “It’s not wrong,” is a partner with a destroyer.
25One who is greedy stirs up strife; but one who trusts in the LORD will prosper.
26One who trusts in himself is a fool; but one who walks in wisdom is kept safe.
27One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.
28When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous thrive.
