Proverbios 27

Ne quitte pas ton ami, ni l'ami de ton père, mais ne va pas chez ton frère le jour de ton malheur ! Mieux vaut un voisin proche, qu'un parent éloigné.

No dejes á tu amigo, ni al amigo de tu padre; ni entres en casa de tu hermano el día de tu aflicción: mejor es el vecino cerca que el hermano lejano.

Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.

Don’t forsake your friend and your father’s friend. Don’t go to your brother’s house in the day of your disaster. A neighbor who is near is better than a distant brother.
