durch Einsicht werden die Kammern gefüllt mit allerlei kostbarer und lieblicher Habe.
Y con ciencia se henchirán las cámaras de todo bien preciado y agradable.
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Ein weiser Mann ist besser als ein starker, und ein einsichtiger besser als ein kraftvoller;

denn mit kluger Leitung wirst du glücklich Krieg führen, und wohl steht's, wo genug Ratgeber sind.

Wolltest du sagen: “Wir haben ja nichts davon gewußt!” - Fürwahr, der die Herzen wägt, der merkt es, und der auf deine Seele acht hat, der weiß es und wird dem Menschen vergelten nach seinem Thun.

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
If you say, “Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not give to every man according to his work?

Ebenso erachte die Weisheit für deine Seele: Hast du sie erlangt, so ist eine Zukunft vorhanden, und deine Hoffnung wird nicht zu nichte werden.
Tal será el conocimiento de la sabiduría á tu alma: si la hallares tendrá recompensa, y al fin tu esperanza no será cortada.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Oh impío, no aceches la tienda del justo, no saquees su cámara;

Denn siebenmal fällt der Fromme und steht wieder auf, aber die Gottlosen sinken hin in Unglück.
Porque siete veces cae el justo, y se torna á levantar; mas los impíos caerán en el mal.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Wenn dein Feind fällt, so freue dich nicht, und wenn er hinsinkt, frohlocke nicht dein Herz,
Cuando cayere tu enemigo, no te huelgues; y cuando tropezare, no se alegre tu corazón:
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,
daß nicht Jahwe es sehe und Mißfallen empfinde und seinen Zorn von jenem hinweg auf dich wende.
Porque Jehová no lo mire, y le desagrade, y aparte de sobre él su enojo.

Denn der Böse wird keine Zukunft haben; die Leuchte der Gottlosen erlischt.

For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

Denn plötzlich erhebt sich ihr Verderben, und beider Untergang kommt unversehens.
Porque su quebrantamiento se levantará de repente; y el quebrantamiento de ambos, ¿quién lo comprende?
For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
for their calamity will rise suddenly. Who knows what destruction may come from them both?
Auch diese Sprüche sind von Weisen. Parteilichkeit im Gericht ist ein übel Ding.
También estas cosas pertenecen á los sabios. Tener respeto á personas en el juicio no es bueno.
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Wer zum Schuldigen spricht: “Du hast Recht!”, den verwünschen Völker, verfluchen Nationen.
El que dijere al malo, Justo eres, los pueblos lo maldecirán, y le detestarán las naciones:
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—
Denen aber, welche nach Gebühr strafen, geht es wohl, und über sie kommt Segen und Glück.
Mas los que lo reprenden, serán agradables, y sobre ellos vendrá bendición de bien.
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.
Die Lippen küßt, wer eine richtige Antwort giebt.
Besados serán los labios del que responde palabras rectas.
