NO tengas envidia de los hombres malos, ni desees estar con ellos:

Perocché la loro mente medita rapine: e le loro labbra parlano di tradimenti.
Porque su corazón piensa en robar, é iniquidad hablan sus labios.

La casa si edificherà colla sapienza, e per la prudenza renderassi stabile.
Con sabiduría se edificará la casa, y con prudencia se afirmará:
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

Mediante la scienza saran ripiene le guardarobe di ogni specie di cose preziose, e più belle.
Y con ciencia se henchirán las cámaras de todo bien preciado y agradable.
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure.
L'uomo saggio ha fortezza, e l'uomo, che ha scienza, è robusto, e vigoroso.
El hombre sabio es fuerte; y de pujante vigor el hombre docto.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
A wise man has great power. A knowledgeable man increases strength,
Perocché col buon ordine si governa la guerra: e la salute si troverà, dove son molti consigli.
Porque con ingenio harás la guerra: y la salud está en la multitud de consejeros.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
for by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors.
Ardua cosa per lo stolto è la sapienza: egli non aprirà sua bocca alla porta.

Chi pensa a mal fare, avrà il nome di stolto.
Al que piensa mal hacer le llamarán hombre de malos pensamientos.
He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
One who plots to do evil will be called a schemer.
Il pensier dello stolto è peccato: il detrattore poi è l'obbrobrio degli uomini.
El pensamiento del necio es pecado: y abominación á los hombres el escarnecedor.
The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
The schemes of folly are sin. The mocker is detested by men.
Se stancandoti tu perdi speranza nel dì dell'angustia, la tua fortezza si impiccolisce.
Si fueres flojo en el día de trabajo, tu fuerza será reducida.
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small.
Cava di pericolo quelli, che sono condotti a morte: e non esser tardo a liberare quelli, che sono strascinati al supplizio.
Si dejares de librar los que son tomados para la muerte, y los que son llevados al degolladero;
If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter!
Se tu dirai: Non ho forze abbastanza; colui che vede i cuori, egli conosce, e nulla è ascoso al Salvatore dell'anima tua, il quale renderà all'uomo secondo le opere sue.
Si dijeres: Ciertamente no lo supimos; ¿no lo entenderá el que pesa los corazones? El que mira por tu alma, él lo conocerá, y dará al hombre según sus obras.
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
If you say, “Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not give to every man according to his work?
Mangia, figliuol mio, il miele, per che è buono, e il favo sarà dolcissimo al tuo palato.
Come, hijo mío, de la miel, porque es buena, y del panal dulce á tu paladar:
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
My son, eat honey, for it is good, the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;
Tale sarà all'anima tua la dottrina della sapienza, e quando tu l'avrai trovata, avrai speranza negli ultimi giorni, e la tua speranza non verrà meno.
Tal será el conocimiento de la sabiduría á tu alma: si la hallares tendrá recompensa, y al fin tu esperanza no será cortada.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
so you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.
Non tendere insidie al giusto, e non cercare l'empietà nella casa di lui, e non isturbare il suo riposo:
Oh impío, no aceches la tienda del justo, no saquees su cámara;
Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
Don’t lay in wait, wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Don’t destroy his resting place;
Perocché sette volte caderà il giusto, e risorgerà; ma gli empj precipitano nel male.
Porque siete veces cae el justo, y se torna á levantar; mas los impíos caerán en el mal.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Non ti rallegrare della caduta del tuo nemico, e il cuor tuo non trionfi di sua rovina,
Cuando cayere tu enemigo, no te huelgues; y cuando tropezare, no se alegre tu corazón:
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,
Affinchè il Signore, che ciò vede, non se n'offenda, ed egli ritirerà da lui il suo sdegno.
Porque Jehová no lo mire, y le desagrade, y aparte de sobre él su enojo.
Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Non contendere co' malvaggi, e non portar invidia agli empj:
No te entrometas con los malignos, ni tengas envidia de los impíos;
Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;
Perocché i cattivi non hanno speranza in futuro, e la lucerna dell'empio si spegnerà.
Porque para el malo no habrá buen fin, y la candela de los impíos será apagada.
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
for there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.
Figliuol mio, temi il Signore, ed il re, e non far lega co' detrattori;
Teme á Jehová, hijo mío, y al rey; no te entrometas con los veleidosos:
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
My son, fear the LORD and the king. Don’t join those who are rebellious,
Perocché scoppierà repentinamente la loro perdizione, e chi sa quai supplizi l'uno, e l'altro farà soffrire?
Porque su quebrantamiento se levantará de repente; y el quebrantamiento de ambos, ¿quién lo comprende?
For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
for their calamity will rise suddenly. Who knows what destruction may come from them both?
Queste cose ancora sono pei sapienti: il fare accettazione di persone in giudizio, non è cosa buona.
También estas cosas pertenecen á los sabios. Tener respeto á personas en el juicio no es bueno.
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Quelli, che all'empio dicono: Tu se' giusto, saran maledetti dai popoli, e detestati dalle tribù.
El que dijere al malo, Justo eres, los pueblos lo maldecirán, y le detestarán las naciones:
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—
Quelli, che lo condannano saranno lodati, e sopra di essi verrà la benedizione.
Mas los que lo reprenden, serán agradables, y sobre ellos vendrá bendición de bien.
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.
Colui che risponde secondo la verità, da un bacio sulla bocca.
Besados serán los labios del que responde palabras rectas.
Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
Metti in buon ordine fuori il tuo lavoro, e coltiva diligentemente il tuo campo, e poi fabbricherai la tua casa.
Apresta tu obra de afuera, y disponla en tu heredad; y después edificarás tu casa.
Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.
Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house.
Non volere senza motivo render testimonianza contro il tuo prossimo, e non adular nissuno colle tue labbra.
No seas sin causa testigo contra tu prójimo; y no lisonjees con tus labios.
Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
Don’t be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don’t deceive with your lips.
Non dire: Farò a lui quello, che ha fatto a me: renderò a ciascheduno secondo le sue azioni.
No digas: Como me hizo, así le haré; daré el pago al hombre según su obra.
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
Don’t say, “I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work.”
Passai pel campo di un infingardo, e per la vigna di un uomo stolto,
Pasé junto á la heredad del hombre perezoso, y junto á la viña del hombre falto de entendimiento;
I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;

Veduta tal cosa, la riposi nel mio cuore, e con tal esempio imparai a ben regolarmi.

E ti sopravverrà, come un corriere, la indigenza, e la mendicità, come un uomo armato. Dei misteri di Dio. Il cuore del re e impenetrabile. Utile correzione; della pietà, della umiltà, e di altre virtù.
Así vendrá como caminante tu necesidad, y tu pobreza como hombre de escudo.
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.
