Proverbios 22

Chi è inchinevole a compassione sarà benedetto; perché del suo pane fa parte a' poveri. Chi usa liberalità acquista vittorie, e onori, e rapisce il cuore di chi riceve.

El ojo misericordioso será bendito, porque dió de su pan al indigente.

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
