UNA buona riputazione vai più, che le molte ricchezze, e più dell'argento, e dell'oro vale l'essere amato.

DE más estima es la buena fama que las muchas riquezas; y la buena gracia más que la plata y el oro.

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
