Proverbios 16
Lutherbibel 1545
1Der HERR macht alles um sein selbst willen, auch den Gottlosen zum bösen Tage.
2Ein stolz Herz ist dem HERRN ein Greuel und wird nicht ungestraft bleiben, wenn sie sich gleich alle aneinander hängen.
3Durch Güte und Treue wird Missetat versöhnet; und durch die Furcht des HERRN meidet man das Böse.
4Wenn jemands Wege dem HERRN wohlgefallen, so macht er auch seine Feinde mit ihm zufrieden.
5Es ist besser wenig mit Gerechtigkeit denn viel Einkommens mit Unrecht.
6Des Menschen Herz schlägt seinen Weg an, aber der HERR allein gibt, daß er fortgehe.
7Weissagung ist in dem Munde des Königs; sein Mund fehlet nicht im Gericht.
8Rechte Waage und Gewicht ist vom HERRN; und alle Pfunde im Sack sind seine Werke.
9Vor den Königen unrecht tun, ist ein Greuel; denn durch Gerechtigkeit wird der Thron bestätiget.
10Recht raten gefällt den Königen; und wer gleich zu rät, wird geliebet.
11Des Königs Grimm ist ein Bote des Todes; aber ein weiser Mann wird ihn versöhnen.
12Wenn des Königs Angesicht freundlich ist, das ist Leben; und seine Gnade ist wie ein Abendregen.
13Nimm an die Weisheit, denn sie ist besser weder Gold, und Verstand haben ist edler denn Silber.
14Der Frommen Weg meidet das Arge; und wer seinen Weg bewahret, der behält sein Leben.
15Wer zugrund gehen soll, der wird zuvor stolz; und stolzer Mut kommt vor dem Fall.
16Es ist besser niedriges Gemüts sein mit den Elenden, denn Raub austeilen mit den Hoffärtigen.
17Wer eine Sache klüglich führet, der findet Glück; und wohl dem, der sich auf den HERRN verläßt.
18Ein Verständiger wird gerühmet für einen weisen Mann, und liebliche Reden lehren wohl.
19Klugheit ist ein lebendiger Brunn dem, der sie hat; aber die Zucht der Narren ist Narrheit.
20Ein weises Herz redet klüglich und lehret wohl.
21Die Reden des Freundlichen sind Honigseim, trösten die Seele und erfrischen die Gebeine.
22Manchem gefällt ein Weg wohl; aber sein Letztes reicht zum Tode.
23Mancher kommt zu großem Unglück durch sein eigen Maul.
24Ein loser Mensch gräbt nach Unglück, und in seinem Maul brennet Feuer.
25Ein verkehrter Mensch richtet Hader an, und ein Verleumder macht Fürsten uneins.
26Ein Frevler locket seinen Nächsten und führet ihn auf keinen guten Weg.
27Wer mit den Augen winkt, denkt nicht Gutes; und wer mit den Lippen deutet, vollbringet Böses.
28Graue Haare sind eine Krone der Ehren, die auf dem Wege der Gerechtigkeit funden werden.
29Ein Geduldiger ist besser denn ein Starker, und der seines Muts HERR ist, denn der Städte gewinnet.
30Los wird geworfen in den Schoß; aber es fället, wie der HERR will.
31Es ist ein trockner Bissen, daran man sich genügen läßt, besser denn ein Haus voll Geschlachtetes mit Hader.
32Ein kluger Knecht wird herrschen über unfleißige Erben und wird unter den Brüdern das Erbe austeilen.
33Wie das Feuer Silber und der Ofen Gold, also prüfet der HERR die Herzen.

1DEL hombre son las disposiciones del corazón: mas de Jehová la respuesta de la lengua.
2Todos los caminos del hombre son limpios en su opinión: mas Jehová pesa los espíritus.
3Encomienda á Jehová tus obras, y tus pensamientos serán afirmados.
4Todas las cosas ha hecho Jehová por sí mismo, y aun al impío para el día malo.
5Abominación es á Jehová todo altivo de corazón: aunque esté mano sobre mano, no será reputado inocente.
6Con misericordia y verdad se corrige el pecado: y con el temor de Jehová se apartan del mal los hombres.
7Cuando los caminos del hombre son agradables á Jehová, aun á sus enemigos pacificará con él.
8Mejor es lo poco con justicia, que la muchedumbre de frutos sin derecho.
9El corazón del hombre piensa su camino: mas Jehová endereza sus pasos.
10Adivinación está en los labios del rey: en juicio no prevaricará su boca.
11Peso y balanzas justas son de Jehová: obra suya son todas las pesas de la bolsa.
12Abominación es á los reyes hacer impiedad: porque con justicia será afirmado el trono.
13Los labios justos son el contentamiento de los reyes; y aman al que habla lo recto.
14La ira del rey es mensajero de muerte: mas el hombre sabio la evitará.
15En la alegría del rostro del rey está la vida; y su benevolencia es como nube de lluvia tardía.
16Mejor es adquirir sabiduría que oro preciado; y adquirir inteligencia vale más que la plata.
17El camino de los rectos es apartarse del mal: su alma guarda el que guarda su camino.
18Antes del quebrantamiento es la soberbia; y antes de la caída la altivez de espíritu.
19Mejor es humillar el espíritu con los humildes, que partir despojos con los soberbios.
20El entendido en la palabra, hallará el bien: y el que confía en Jehová, él es bienaventurado.
21El sabio de corazón es llamado entendido: y la dulzura de labios aumentará la doctrina.
22Manantial de vida es el entendimiento al que lo posee: mas la erudición de los necios es necedad.
23El corazón del sabio hace prudente su boca; y con sus labios aumenta la doctrina.
24Panal de miel son los dichos suaves: suavidad al alma y medicina á los huesos.
25Hay camino que parece derecho al hombre, mas su salida son caminos de muerte.
26El alma del que trabaja, trabaja para sí; porque su boca le constriñe.
27El hombre perverso cava el mal; y en sus labios hay como llama de fuego.
28El hombre perverso levanta contienda; y el chismoso aparta los mejores amigos.
29El hombre malo lisonjea á su prójimo, y le hace andar por el camino no bueno:
30Cierra sus ojos para pensar perversidades; mueve sus labios, efectúa el mal.
31Corona de honra es la vejez, que se hallará en el camino de justicia.
32Mejor es el que tarde se aira que el fuerte; y el que se enseñorea de su espíritu, que el que toma una ciudad.
33La suerte se echa en el seno: mas de Jehová es el juicio de ella.

1The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
3Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
6By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
7When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
9A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
10A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
11A just weight and balance are the LORD’s: all the weights of the bag are his work.
12It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
13Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
14The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
15In the light of the king’s countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
16How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
17The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
18Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
19Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
21The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
22Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
23The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
24Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
25There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
26He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
27An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
28A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
29A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
30He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
31The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
32He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
33The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

1The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the motives.
3Commit your deeds to the LORD, and your plans shall succeed.
4The LORD has made everything for its own end— yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; they shall certainly not be unpunished.
6By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for. By the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
7When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

10Inspired judgments are on the lips of the king. He shall not betray his mouth.

14The king’s wrath is a messenger of death, but a wise man will pacify it.

26The appetite of the laboring man labors for him, for his mouth urges him on.
27A worthless man devises mischief. His speech is like a scorching fire.
28A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends.
29A man of violence entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.
30One who winks his eyes to plot perversities, one who compresses his lips, is bent on evil.
31Gray hair is a crown of glory. It is attained by a life of righteousness.
32One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
33The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.
