Proverbios 13

Wer die Rute spart, der hasst seinen Sohn; / wer ihn liebhat, der züchtigt ihn beizeiten. / (a) Spr 23:13; 29:15

El que detiene el castigo, á su hijo aborrece: mas el que lo ama, madruga á castigarlo.

He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

One who spares the rod hates his son, but one who loves him is careful to discipline him.
