Si hay algún aliento en Cristo, si algún consuelo de Su amor, si hay algún compañerismo del Espíritu, si hay algunas tiernas misericordias y compasiones,
POR tanto, si hay alguna consolación en Cristo; si algún refrigerio de amor; si alguna comunión del Espíritu; si algunas entrañas y misericordias,
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
If therefore there is any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
entonces hagan completo mi gozo pensando igual, teniendo el mismo amor, estando unidos en espíritu, y teniendo el mismo propósito.
Cumplid mi gozo; que sintáis lo mismo, teniendo el mismo amor, unánimes, sintiendo una misma cosa.
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
make my joy full by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
No hagan nada por egoísmo o vanagloria vacía. Por lo contrario, con humildad consideren a los demás como mejores que ustedes.
Nada hagáis por contienda ó por vanagloria; antes bien en humildad, estimándoos inferiores los unos á los otros:
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
Cada uno de ustedes debe tener cuidado no solo de sus propias necesidades, sino también por las necesidades de otros.
No mirando cada uno á lo suyo propio, sino cada cual también á lo de los otros.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
Piensen en la manera que también hubo en Cristo Jesús.
Haya, pues, en vosotros este sentir que hubo también en Cristo Jesús:
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,
El existía en la forma de Dios, pero Él no consideró Su igualdad con Dios como algo a que aferrarse.
El cual, siendo en forma de Dios, no tuvo por usurpación ser igual á Dios:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
Por lo contrario, Él se vació a Sí mismo. Él tomó la forma de un siervo. Él apareció en la semejanza de los hombres. Él fue hallado en apariencia como un hombre.
Sin embargo, se anonadó á sí mismo, tomando forma de siervo, hecho semejante á los hombres;
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
Él se humilló a Sí mismo y se hizo obediente hasta el punto de la muerte, ¡aún la muerte de cruz!
Y hallado en la condición como hombre, se humilló á sí mismo, hecho obediente hasta la muerte, y muerte de cruz.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
Por lo tanto, Dios también Lo exaltó hasta lo sumo. Él Le dio el nombre que es sobre todo nombre.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Él hizo esto para que en el nombre de Jesús toda rodilla se deba doblar, las rodillas de aquellos en el cielo y sobre la tierra y debajo de la tierra.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Y Él hizo esto para que toda lengua deba confesar que Jesucristo es el Señor, para la gloria de Dios el Padre.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Así entonces, mis amados, así como ustedes siempre obedecen, no solo en mi presencia, sino ahora mucho más en mi ausencia, hagan trabajen por su propia salvación con temor y temblor.
Por tanto, amados míos, como siempre habéis obedecido, no como en mi presencia solamente, sino mucho más ahora en mi ausencia, ocupaos en vuestra salvación con temor y temblor;
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Pues es Dios quien está trabajando en ustedes tanto para desear como para trabajar por Su buena voluntad.
Porque Dios es el que en vosotros obra así el querer como el hacer, por su buena voluntad.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Hagan todas las cosas sin quejarse y sin discutir.
Haced todo sin murmuraciones y contiendas,
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Do all things without complaining and arguing,
Actúen de esta manera para que sean impecables y honestos, hijos de Dios sin manchas. Actúen de esta manera para que brillen como luces en el mundo, en medio de una torcida y depravada generación.
Para que seáis irreprensibles y sencillos, hijos de Dios sin culpa en medio de la nación maligna y perversa, entre los cuales resplandecéis como luminares en el mundo;
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
Agárrense fuertemente a la palabra de vida para que yo tenga razones para gloriarme en el día de Cristo. Pues entonces yo sabré que no corrí en vano ni en vano fue mi labor.
Reteniendo la palabra de vida para que yo pueda gloriarme en el día de Cristo, que no he corrido en vano, ni trabajado en vano.
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Pero aún si yo fuera derramado como una ofrenda sobre el sacrificio y servicio de la fe de ustedes, yo me regocijo, y me regocijo con todos ustedes.

De la misma manera, ustedes también regocíjense, y regocíjense con conmigo.

Pero yo espero en el Señor Jesús enviarles pronto a Timoteo, para que yo también sea alentado cuando conozca las cosas acerca de ustedes.

But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

Pues no tengo a nadie más con la misma actitud, quien realmente esté deseoso por ustedes.
Porque á ninguno tengo tan unánime, y que con sincera afición esté solícito por vosotros.
For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.
Porque todos ellos buscan sus propios intereses, no las cosas de Jesucristo.
Porque todos buscan lo suyo propio, no lo que es de Cristo Jesús.
For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

Pero ustedes conocen su valor, porque así como un niño sirve a su padre, así él sirvió conmigo en el evangelio.
Pero la experiencia de él habéis conocido, que como hijo á padre ha servido conmigo en el evangelio.
But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
But you know that he has proved himself. As a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.
Por tanto, yo espero enviarlo tan pronto que yo vea como irán las cosas conmigo.
Así que á éste espero enviaros, luego que yo viere cómo van mis negocios;
Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

Pero yo estoy confiado en el Señor que también yo mismo vendré pronto.

Pero yo pienso que es necesario enviarles de vuelta a Epafrodito. El es mi hermano y compañero de trabajo y compañero de milicia, y mensajero de ustedes y siervo por mis necesidades.
Mas tuve por cosa necesaria enviaros á Epafrodito, mi hermano, y colaborador y compañero de milicia, y vuestro mensajero, y ministrador de mis necesidades;
Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need,
Porque él estuvo muy afligido y deseaba estar con todos ustedes, porque ustedes oyeron que él estuvo enfermo.
Porque tenía gran deseo de ver á todos vosotros, y gravemente se angustió porque habíais oído que había enfermado.
For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

Pues ciertamente él estuvo tan enfermo que casi muere. Pero Dios tuvo misericordia de él, y no sólo de él, sino también de mí, para que yo no tuviera tristeza sobre tristeza.
Pues en verdad estuvo enfermo á la muerte: mas Dios tuvo misericordia de él; y no solamente de él, sino aun de mí, para que yo no tuviese tristeza sobre tristeza.
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Así que es con aún más entusiasmo que lo estoy enviando, para que cuando ustedes lo vean de nuevo, se regocijen y yo estaré más libre de ansiedad.
Así que le envío más presto, para que viéndole os volváis á gozar, y yo esté con menos tristeza.
I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
Reciban a Epafrodito en el Señor con todo gozo. Honren a las personas como él.
Recibidle pues en el Señor con todo gozo; y tened en estima á los tales:
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honor,
Pues fue por la obra de Cristo que él estuvo cerca de la muerte. El arriesgó su vida para servirme y completar lo que ustedes no podían hacer en servicio para mí.
Porque por la obra de Cristo estuvo cercano á la muerte, poniendo su vida para suplir vuestra falta en mi servicio.
Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
