Se adunque alcuna consolazione in Cristo, se alcun conforto della carità, se alcuna comunione di spirito, se viscere di compassione:
POR tanto, si hay alguna consolación en Cristo; si algún refrigerio de amor; si alguna comunión del Espíritu; si algunas entrañas y misericordias,
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Rendete compiuto il mio gaudio con essere concordi, con avere la stessa carità, una sola anima, uno stesso sentimento:
Cumplid mi gozo; que sintáis lo mismo, teniendo el mismo amor, unánimes, sintiendo una misma cosa.
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Nulla (fate) per picca, o per vanagloria; ma per umiltà l'uno creda l'altro a se superiore:
Nada hagáis por contienda ó por vanagloria; antes bien en humildad, estimándoos inferiores los unos á los otros:
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Il quale essendo nella forma di Dio, non credette, che fosse una rapina quel suo essere uguale a Dio:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
Ma annichilò se stesso presa la forma di servo, fatto simile agli uomini, e per condizione riconosciuto per uomo.
Sin embargo, se anonadó á sí mismo, tomando forma de siervo, hecho semejante á los hombres;
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
Umiliò se stesso fatto ubbidiente sino alla morte, e morte di croce.
Y hallado en la condición como hombre, se humilló á sí mismo, hecho obediente hasta la muerte, y muerte de cruz.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Per la qual cosa Dio pur lo esaltò, e gli donò un nome sopra qualunque nome:

E ogni lingua confessi, che il Signore Gesù Cristo o nella gloria di Dio Padre.

Affinchè siate irreprensibili, e sinceri figliuoli di Dio, scevri di colpa in mezzo ad una nazione prava, e perversa: tra di cui risplendete, come luminari del mondo,
Para que seáis irreprensibles y sencillos, hijos de Dios sin culpa en medio de la nación maligna y perversa, entre los cuales resplandecéis como luminares en el mundo;
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
Portanti la parola di vita per gloria mia nel giorno di Cristo, perché non ho corso in vano, e non ho lavorato in vano.
Reteniendo la palabra de vida para que yo pueda gloriarme en el día de Cristo, que no he corrido en vano, ni trabajado en vano.
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Ma e quando io sia offerto in libagione sopra il sagrifizio, e l'ostia della vostra fede, io ne godo, e me ne congratulo con tutti voi.
Y aun si soy derramado en libación sobre el sacrificio y servicio de vuestra fe, me gozo y congratulo por todos vosotros.
Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

E voi di questo stesso godetene, e congratulatevene meco.

Spero nel Signore Gesù di mandare speditamente da voi Timoteo: affine che io pure stia di buon animo, informato che io sia delle cose vostre.

Imperocché non ho nessuno così unanime, che con sincera affezione si affanni per voi.

For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

Lui adunque spero di mandare da voi subito, che avrò veduto lo stato delle cose mie.
Así que á éste espero enviaros, luego que yo viere cómo van mis negocios;
Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

Confido poi nel Signore, che verrò io pure speditamente da voi.

Ma ho creduto necessario di mandarvi Epafrodito fratello, e cooperatore, e della stessa milizia con me, e vostro Apostolo, ed il quale ha sovvenuto alle mie necessità:
Mas tuve por cosa necesaria enviaros á Epafrodito, mi hermano, y colaborador y compañero de milicia, y vuestro mensajero, y ministrador de mis necesidades;
Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need,
Conciossiachè bramava ardentemente di riveder tutti voi: ed era afflitto, perché si fosse saputo da voi, come egli era stato malato.
Porque tenía gran deseo de ver á todos vosotros, y gravemente se angustió porque habíais oído que había enfermado.
For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

Imperocché veramente è stato malato fino a morte: ma Dio ha avuto compassione di lui; né solamente di lui, ma anche di me, affinchè non avessi dolore sopra dolore.
Pues en verdad estuvo enfermo á la muerte: mas Dios tuvo misericordia de él; y no solamente de él, sino aun de mí, para que yo no tuviese tristeza sobre tristeza.
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Lo ho adunque mandato più speditamente affinchè vedutolo, di nuovo vi rallegriate, e io sia fuori di pena.
Así que le envío más presto, para que viéndole os volváis á gozar, y yo esté con menos tristeza.
I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

Accoglietelo adunque nel Signore con ogni allegrezza, e tenete in onore tali persone:
Recibidle pues en el Señor con todo gozo; y tened en estima á los tales:
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honor,
Conciossiachè per servigio di Cristo si è avvicinato sino alla morte, facendo getto della propria vita per supplire al difetto degli ufficj vostri verso di me. Niuno può farsi gloria delle osservanze legali; imperocché ciò massimamente converrebbe a Paolo, il quale tali cose ha stimate tutte un discapito per conseguire la giustizia di Dio per la fede in Cristo, sempre avanzandosi per giugnere finalmente alla perfezione; laonde esorta i Filippesi, che se stesso imitino, e non gl'insolenti nemici della croce di Cristo.
Porque por la obra de Cristo estuvo cercano á la muerte, poniendo su vida para suplir vuestra falta en mi servicio.
Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
