I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whom I have become the father of in my chains,
Il quale una volta fu disutile per te, ora poi è utile e per me, e per te,
El cual en otro tiempo te fué inútil, mas ahora á ti y á mí es útil;
Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
who once was useless to you, but now is useful to you and to me.
Il quale io ho rimandato a te. E tu accoglilo, come mie viscere:
El cual te vuelvo á enviar; tú pues, recíbele como á mis entrañas.
Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
I am sending him back. Therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,
Il quale io bramava di ritener con me, perchè mi servisse in luogo di te tralle catene del vangelo:
Yo quisiera detenerle conmigo, para que en lugar de ti me sirviese en las prisiones del evangelio;
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News.
Ma nulla ho volato fare senza il tuo parere, affinchè non fosse quasi forzato, ma volontario il beneficio tuo.
Mas nada quise hacer sin tu consejo, porque tu beneficio no fuese como de necesidad, sino voluntario.
But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will.
Imperocché forse per questo si è allontanato per brev'ora da te, affinchè tu lo ricuperassi per l'eternità:
Porque acaso por esto se ha apartado de ti por algún tiempo, para que le recibieses para siempre;
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
For perhaps he was therefore separated from you for a while that you would have him forever,
Non più come servo, ma in cambio di servo fratello carissimo, massimamente a me: e quanto più a te, e secondo la carne, e secondo il Signore?
No ya como siervo, antes más que siervo, como hermano amado, mayormente de mí, pero cuánto más de ti, en la carne y en el Señor.
Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much rather to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
Se adunque tieni me per tuo intrinseco, accoglilo, come me:
Así que, si me tienes por compañero, recíbele como á mí.
If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
If then you count me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
Che se in qualche cosa ti ha fatto danno, od egli è a te debitore; scrivi ciò a conto mio.
Y si en algo te dañó, ó te debe, ponlo á mi cuenta.
If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;
But if he has wronged you at all or owes you anything, put that to my account.
Io Paolo ho scritto di pugno: io soddisfarò, per non dirti, che tu devi a me anche te stesso:
Yo Pablo lo escribí de mi mano, yo lo pagaré: por no decirte que aun á ti mismo te me debes demás.
I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self besides).
Sì, o fratello. Ricavi io da te questo frutto nel Signore: ristora le mie viscere nel Signore.
Sí, hermano, góceme yo de ti en el Señor; recrea mis entrañas en el Señor.
Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.
Affidato alla tua ubbidienza ti ho scritto: sapendo, che farai anche più di quello, ch'io dico.
Te he escrito confiando en tu obediencia, sabiendo que aun harás más de lo que digo.
Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.
Insiememente ancora preparami l'ospizio: imperocché spero, che mediante le vostre orazioni sarò donato a voi.
Y asimismo prepárame también alojamiento; porque espero que por vuestras oraciones os tengo de ser concedido.
But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

La grazia del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo col vostro spirito. Così sia. Il nuovo testamento dato da Cristo tanto è da preferirsi al vecchio dato per ministero degli Angeli, quanto Cristo è di dignità maggiore, che gli Angeli, i quali egli sorpassa per la sua origine, dominio, potenza, e onore.
