1Habló Yahvé a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:
2“Haced el censo de los hijos de Caat, de entre los hijos de Leví, según sus familias y casas paternas,
3de treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, todos los que han de prestar servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
4He aquí el oficio de los hijos de Caat relativo al Tabernáculo de la Reunión, el Santo de los Santos:
5Siempre que haya de levantarse el campamento, entrará Aarón con sus hijos, para bajar la cortina del velo y cubrir con ella el Arca del Testimonio.
6Pondrán encima una cubierta de pieles de tejón, sobre la cual extenderán un paño todo de jacinto, y colocarán las varas.
7También sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán un paño de jacinto, sobre el cual pondrán los platos, las cucharas, las tazas y las copas para las libaciones, quedando encima el pan perpetuo.
8Sobre ellos tenderán un paño carmesí, cubriéndolo con una cubierta de pieles de tejón, y colocarán las varas.
9Luego tomarán una tela de jacinto con que cubrirán el candelabro del alumbrado, con sus lámparas, sus despabiladeras, sus platillos, y todos sus vasos para el aceite, todo lo necesario para su servicio.
10Lo envolverán, con todos sus utensilios, en una cubierta de pieles de tejón, y lo pondrán sobre las angarillas.
11También sobre el altar de oro tenderán un paño de jacinto, que cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejón; y colocarán las varas.
12Luego tomarán todos los utensilios que se usan para el servicio del Santuario, los envolverán en un paño de jacinto, cubriéndolos con una cubierta de pieles de tejón, y los pondrán sobre las angarillas.
13Después quitarán las cenizas del altar, sobre el cual extenderán un paño de púrpura;
14pondrán encima todos los utensilios necesarios para su servicio: los braseros, los tenedores, las paletas, los tazones, todos los utensilios del altar, extenderán sobre él una cubierta de pieles de tejón y colocarán sus varas.
15Cuando Aarón y sus hijos hayan acabado de cubrir el Santuario y todos los enseres del Santuario y se levante el campamento, se llegarán los hijos de Caat para alzarlos; mas no tocarán el Santuario, no sea que mueran. Esto es lo que toca a los hijos de Caat (en el transporte) del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
16Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, tendrá a su cargo el aceite del alumbrado, el incienso aromático, la oblación perpetua, el óleo de la unción, el cuidado de toda la Morada y de todo lo perteneciente a ella, de (todo) el Santuario con sus utensilios.”
17Yahvé habló a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:
18“No permitáis que el linaje de las familias de los caatitas sea extirpado de en medio de los levitas.
19Para que vivan y no mueran, cuando se lleguen a las cosas santísimas, haced con ellos de esta manera: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y señalarán a cada uno su servicio y lo que ha de transportar.
20Pero ellos no deben entrar, ni aun por un solo instante, para ver las cosas santas, no sea que mueran.”
21Yahvé habló a Moisés, diciendo:
22“Haz también el censo de los hijos de Gersón, según sus casas paternas y sus familias.
23Desde treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta los contarás a todos los que han de prestar servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
24He aquí el cargo de las familias de los gersonitas, tanto en el servicio como en el transporte.
25Llevarán las cortinas de la Morada y el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, su cubierta, la cubierta de pieles de tejón que está encima de aquella, el velo que se halla en la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión,
26las cortinas del atrio y la cortina de la puerta de la entrada del atrio que rodea la Morada y el altar, con sus cuerdas y todos los utensilios de su servicio; harán todo lo referente a su servicio.
27Todo el servicio de los gersonitas, en todo lo que han de transportar o de ejecutar, estará a las órdenes de Aarón y de sus hijos. Vosotros les señalaréis lo que es de su obligación, todo lo que han de transportar.
28Este es el servicio de las familias de los gersonitas, relativo al Tabernáculo de la Reunión; el servicio de ellos estará bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón.
29Haz también el censo de los hijos de Merarí según sus familias y sus casas paternas,
30contándolos desde los treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, a todos los que han de prestar servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
31He aquí los objetos del Tabernáculo de la Reunión, que tienen que llevar en todo su servicio: los tablones de la Morada, sus travesaños, sus columnas y sus basas,
32las columnas que rodean el atrio, sus basas, estacas y cuerdas, todos sus utensilios, y todo lo perteneciente a su servicio. Les señalaréis por nombre los objetos que tienen que transportar.
33Este es el oficio de las familias de los hijos de Merarí, conforme a todo su servicio en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.”
34Moisés y Aarón y los príncipes de la Congregación contaron a los caatitas, según sus familias y sus casas paternas,
35de treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, a todos los que habían de prestar servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
36Y fueron los empadronados, según sus familias, dos mil setecientos cincuenta.
37Estos fueron los empadronados de las familias de los caatitas, todos aquellos que servían en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, a quienes contaron Moisés y Aarón, conforme a la orden que Yahvé había dado por boca de Moisés.
38Los empadronados de los hijos de Gersón, contados según sus familias y sus casas paternas,
39de treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, todos los que habían de prestar servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión;
40esos, empadronados según sus familias y sus casas paternas, fueron dos mil seiscientos treinta.
41Estos son los empadronados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, todos aquellos que servían en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, a quienes Moisés y Aarón contaron por orden de Yahvé.
42Los empadronados de las familias de los hijos de Merarí, según sus familias y sus casas paternas,
43de treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, todos los que habían de prestar algún servicio o ejercer alguna función en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión;
44esos empadronados según sus familias, fueron tres mil doscientos.
45Estos son los empadronados de las familias de los hijos de Merarí, a quienes Moisés y Aarón contaron por orden de Yahvé dada a Moisés.
46El total de los levitas contados por Moisés y Aarón y los príncipes de Israel, según sus familias y sus casas paternas,
47de treinta años para arriba, hasta los cincuenta, todos aquellos que tenían una función en el servicio y en el transporte del Tabernáculo de la Reunión,
48su número fue de ocho mil quinientos ochenta.
49Conforme a la orden de Yahvé dada a Moisés, este asignó a cada uno su ministerio y lo que había de transportar. Y los designados fueron aquellos que Yahvé había señalado a Moisés.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
2Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Coath de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
3De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
4Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:
5Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio:
6Y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.
7Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y las cucharas, y las copas, y los tazones para libar: y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.
8Y extenderán sobre ella el paño de carmesí colorado, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones; y le pondrán sus varas.
9Y tomarán un paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria; y sus candilejas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve;
10Y lo pondrán con todos sus vasos en una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
11Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y le cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sus varales.
12Y tomarán todos los vasos del servicio, de que hacen uso en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño cárdeno, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
13Y quitarán la ceniza del altar, y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura:
14Y pondrán sobre él todos sus instrumentos de que se sirve: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán además las varas.
15Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coath para conducir: mas no tocarán cosa santa, que morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
16Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.
17Y habló Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
18No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Coath de entre los Levitas;
19Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán á cada uno en su oficio, y en su cargo.
20No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas; que morirán.
21Y habló Jehová á Moisés diciendo:
22Toma también la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias.
23De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
24Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón, para ministrar y para llevar:
25Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,
26Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca del tabernáculo y cerca del altar alrededor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos: así servirán.
27Según la orden de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todos sus cargos, y en todo su servicio: y les encomendaréis en guarda todos sus cargos.
28Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo del testimonio: y el cargo de ellos estará bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
29Contarás los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres.
30Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de cincuenta años, los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
31Y este será el deber de su cargo para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio: las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas,
32Y las columnas del atrio alrededor, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas con todos sus instrumentos, y todo su servicio; y contaréis por sus nombres todos los vasos de la guarda de su cargo.
33Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
34Moisés, pues, y Aarón, y los jefes de la congregación, contaron los hijos de Coath por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,
35Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años; todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
36Y fueron los contados de ellos por sus familias, dos mil setecientos y cincuenta.
37Estos fueron los contados de las familias de Coath, todos los que ministran en el tabernáculo del testimonio, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, como lo mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés.

42Y los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
43Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio:
44Los contados de ellos, por sus familias, fueron tres mil y doscientos.
45Estos fueron los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, según lo mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés.
46Todos los contados de los Levitas, que Moisés y Aarón y los jefes de Israel contaron por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
22Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
34And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
42And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

1The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, regarding the most holy things.
5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6put a covering of sealskin on it, spread a blue cloth over it, and put in its poles.
7“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9“They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lamp stand of the light, its lamps, its snuffers, its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.
11“On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
12“They shall take all the vessels of ministry with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.
13“They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.
14They shall put on it all its vessels with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the meat hooks, the shovels, and the basins—all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.
16“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”
17The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19but do this to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;
20but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”
21The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
22“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;
23you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old: all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the gate of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. They shall serve in there.
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;
30you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,
32the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service. You shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden to them by name.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”
34Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
35from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting.
36Those who were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
37These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
38Those who were counted of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
39from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
40even those who were counted of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD.
42Those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
43from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
44even those who were counted of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
46All those who were counted of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ houses,
47from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
48even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. Thus they were counted by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
