1Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: Stelle die Gesamtzahl der Kinder Kahat unter den Leviten fest,
2nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
3von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis in das fünfzigste Jahr, alle Diensttauglichen für das Werk an der Stiftshütte.
4Das soll aber der Dienst der Kinder Kahat an der Stiftshütte sein: das Allerheiligste.
5Wenn das Heer aufbricht, so sollen Aaron und seine Söhne hineingehen und den Vorhang abnehmen und die Lade des Zeugnisses damit bedecken,
6und sollen eine Decke von Seehundsfellen darauf tun und oben darüber ein Tuch von ganz blauem Purpur breiten und die Stangen einstecken.
7Auch über den Schaubrottisch sollen sie ein Tuch von blauem Purpur breiten und darauf setzen die Schüsseln, die Kellen, die Opferschalen und die Trankopferkannen; auch soll das beständige Brot darauf liegen.
8Und sie sollen ein Tuch von Karmesinfarbe darüber breiten und dasselbe mit einer Decke von Seehundsfellen bedecken und seine Stangen einstecken.
9Sie sollen auch ein Tuch von blauem Purpur nehmen und damit den Licht spendenden Leuchter bedecken und seine Lampen, samt seinen Lichtscheren und Löschnäpflein und allen Ölgeschirren, mit welchen er bedient wird.
10Und sollen um alle diese Geräte eine Decke von Seehundsfellen tun und es auf ein Gestell legen.
11Also sollen sie auch über den goldenen Altar ein Tuch von blauem Purpur breiten, und ihn mit einer Decke von Seehundsfellen bedecken und seine Stangen einstecken.
12Alle Geräte des Dienstes, womit man im Heiligtum dient, sollen sie nehmen und ein Tuch von blauem Purpur darüber tun und sie mit einer Decke von Seehundsfellen decken und auf ein Gestell legen.
13Sie sollen auch den Altar von der Asche reinigen, und ein Tuch von rotem Purpur darüber breiten.
14Alle seine Geräte, womit sie auf demselben dienen, sollen sie darauf legen, Kohlenpfannen, Gabeln, Schaufeln und Sprengbecken, samt allen Geräten des Altars, und sollen eine Decke von Seehundsfellen darüber breiten und seine Stangen einstecken.
15Wen nun Aaron und seine Söhne solches ausgerichtet und das Heiligtum und alle seine Geräte bedeckt haben, und wenn das Heer aufbricht, dann sollen die Kinder Kahat hineingehen, um es zu tragen; und sie sollen das Heiligtum nicht anrühren, sonst würden sie sterben. Das ist die Arbeit der Kinder Kahat an der Stiftshütte.
16Eleasar aber, der Sohn Aarons, soll die Aufsicht haben über das Öl für den Leuchter, und über die Spezerei zum Räucherwerk, und über das beständige Speisopfer und das Salböl, dazu die Aufsicht über die ganze Wohnung und alles, was darin ist, über das Heiligtum und seine Geräte.
17Und der HERR redete zu Mose und Aaron und sprach:
18Ihr sollt dafür sorgen, daß der Stamm des Geschlechts der Kahatiter nicht ausgerottet werde unter den Leviten!
19Darum sollt ihr solches mit ihnen tun, damit sie leben und nicht sterben, wenn sie sich dem Allerheiligsten nahen: Aaron und seine Söhne sollen hineingehen und einem jeden seine Arbeit und seine Last anweisen.
20Jene aber sollen nicht hineingehen, um auch nur einen Augenblick das Heiligtum anzusehen, sonst würden sie sterben!
21Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
22Stelle die Gesamtzahl der Kinder Gerson fest, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach ihren Familien;
23von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis zum fünfzigsten Jahr sollst du sie zählen, alle Diensttauglichen zur Arbeit an der Stiftshütte.
24Das soll aber das Amt des Geschlechts der Gersoniter sein, wo sie dienen und was sie tragen sollen:
25Sie sollen die Teppiche der Wohnung und die Stiftshütte tragen, ihre Decken und die Decke von Seehundsfellen, die oben darüber ist und den Vorhang in der Tür der Stiftshütte;
26auch die Vorhänge des Vorhofs und den Vorhang der Tür des Tors am Vorhof, rings um die Wohnung und den Altar her, auch ihre Seile und ihre Dienstgeräte, samt allem, womit gearbeitet wird; das sollen sie besorgen.
27Nach dem Befehl Aarons und seiner Söhne soll der ganze Dienst der Gersoniter geschehen, alles, was sie zu tragen und was sie zu verrichten haben; ihr sollt ihnen alle ihre Aufgaben pünktlich anweisen.
28Das ist der Dienst des Geschlechts der Gersoniter in der Stiftshütte und was sie unter der Hand Itamars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters zu besorgen haben.
29Auch die Kinder Merari sollst du mustern, nach ihrem Vaterhaus und ihren Familien.
30Von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis ins fünfzigste Jahr sollst du sie zählen, alle Diensttauglichen zur Arbeit an der Stiftshütte.
31Ihre Aufgabe im Dienste der Stiftshütte ist, die Bretter der Wohnung, ihre Riegel, Säulen und Füße zu tragen,
32dazu die Säulen des Vorhofs und ihre Füße, die Nägel und Seile, samt allen ihren Geräten und aller Zubehörde; ihr sollt ihnen die Geräte, die sie zu tragen haben, mit Namen nennen.
33Das ist der Dienst des Geschlechts der Kinder Merari, alles, was sie an der Stiftshütte zu besorgen haben unter der Hand Itamars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters.
34Und Mose und Aaron samt den Fürsten der Gemeinde musterten die Kahatiter nach ihrem Vaterhaus und ihren Geschlechtern,
35von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis ins fünfzigste, alle Diensttauglichen zur Arbeit an der Stiftshütte.
36Und ihre Musterung nach ihren Geschlechtern ergab 2750.
37Das sind die Gemusterten des Geschlechts der Kahatiter, alle die, welche Dienst tun konnten an der Stiftshütte, welche Mose und Aaron musterten nach dem Wort des HERRN durch Mose.
38Die Kinder Gerson wurden auch gemustert nach ihrem Vaterhaus und ihren Familien,
39von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis ins fünfzigste, alle Diensttauglichen für die Arbeit an der Stiftshütte.
40Und ihre Musterung nach ihrem Vaterhaus und Geschlecht ergab 2630.
41Das sind die Gemusterten des Geschlechts der Kinder Gerson, welche tauglich waren für den Dienst an der Stiftshütte, welche Mose und Aaron musterten nach dem Wort des HERRN.
42Die Kinder Merari wurden auch gemustert nach ihrem Vaterhaus und ihren Geschlechtern,
43von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis in das fünfzigste, alle Diensttauglichen zur Arbeit an der Stiftshütte.
44Und die Musterung nach ihren Geschlechtern ergab 3200.
45Das sind die Gemusterten des Geschlechts der Kinder Merari, welche Mose und Aaron einstellten nach dem Wort des HERRN durch Mose.
46Alle Gemusterten, welche eingestellt wurden, als Mose und Aaron samt den Fürsten Israels die Leviten zählten nach ihren Geschlechtern und Vaterhäusern,
47von dreißig Jahren an und darüber, bis ins fünfzigste, alle, die da kamen zur Verrichtung irgend eines Dienstes oder um eine Last zu tragen an der Stiftshütte;
48alle Gemusterten zählten 8580.
49Nach dem Worte des HERRN bestellte man sie durch Mose, einen jeden zu seinem Dienst und zu seiner Last und an sein Amt, wie der HERR Mose geboten hatte.

2Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Coath de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
3De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
4Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:
5Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio:
6Y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.
7Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y las cucharas, y las copas, y los tazones para libar: y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.
8Y extenderán sobre ella el paño de carmesí colorado, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones; y le pondrán sus varas.
9Y tomarán un paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria; y sus candilejas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve;
10Y lo pondrán con todos sus vasos en una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
11Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y le cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sus varales.
12Y tomarán todos los vasos del servicio, de que hacen uso en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño cárdeno, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
13Y quitarán la ceniza del altar, y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura:
14Y pondrán sobre él todos sus instrumentos de que se sirve: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán además las varas.
15Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coath para conducir: mas no tocarán cosa santa, que morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
16Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.
17Y habló Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
18No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Coath de entre los Levitas;
19Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán á cada uno en su oficio, y en su cargo.
20No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas; que morirán.
21Y habló Jehová á Moisés diciendo:
22Toma también la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias.
23De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
24Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón, para ministrar y para llevar:
25Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,
26Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca del tabernáculo y cerca del altar alrededor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos: así servirán.
27Según la orden de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todos sus cargos, y en todo su servicio: y les encomendaréis en guarda todos sus cargos.
28Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo del testimonio: y el cargo de ellos estará bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.

33Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
34Moisés, pues, y Aarón, y los jefes de la congregación, contaron los hijos de Coath por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.

16And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
22Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.

34And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
42And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

1The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, regarding the most holy things.
5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6put a covering of sealskin on it, spread a blue cloth over it, and put in its poles.
7“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9“They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lamp stand of the light, its lamps, its snuffers, its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.
11“On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
12“They shall take all the vessels of ministry with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.
13“They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.
14They shall put on it all its vessels with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the meat hooks, the shovels, and the basins—all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.
16“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”
17The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19but do this to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;
20but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”
21The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
22“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;
23you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old: all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the gate of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. They shall serve in there.
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;
30you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,
32the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service. You shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden to them by name.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”
34Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
35from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting.
36Those who were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
37These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
38Those who were counted of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
39from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
40even those who were counted of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD.
42Those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
43from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
44even those who were counted of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
46All those who were counted of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ houses,
47from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
48even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. Thus they were counted by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
