From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, regarding the most holy things.
Entrerà Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui, allorché debbonsi muovere gli alloggiamenti, e caleranno il velo, che pende dinanzi alla porta, e in esso involgeranno l'arca del testamento,
Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio:
And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
E la copriranno di più col velo di pelli di color violetto, e stenderanno al di sopra la coperta di color di giacinto, e accomoderanno le stanghe.
Y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.
And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

Parimente la mensa della proposizione la involgeranno in coperta di giacinto, e con essa metteranno i turiboli, e i mortai, e i bicchieri, e i nappi per le libagioni: sopra la mensa vi saranno sempre i pani:

And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:

E vi stenderanno sopra il velo di scarlatto, il quale sarà ancor coperto colla tenda di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.

Posti sopra di essi tutti gli arnesi, che servono per esso; vale a dire i bracieri, i forconi, i tridenti, gli uncini, le padelle, gli arnesi dell'altare li copriranno tutti insieme col velo di pelli violette, e porranno (ogni cosa) sopra le stanghe.

E quando Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui avranno involto tutte le parti del santuario, e tutti i suoi vasi nel muoversi il campo, allora verranno i figliuoli di Caath a prendere gl'involti: e non toccheranno i vasi del santuario, altrimenti sarebbero messi a morte. Questa è incumbenza dei figliuoli di Caath nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza:
Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coath para conducir: mas no tocarán cosa santa, que morirán. And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.
Il loro capo sarà Eleazaro, figliuolo di Aronne sommo sacerdote, e a lui si apparterrà l'aver cura dell'olio per preparare le lucerne, e dei profumi di composizione, e del sacrifizio perpetuo, e dell'olio di unzione, e di tutto quello che riguarda il culto del tabernacolo, e di tutti i vasi, che sono nel santuario.
Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.
And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”

“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
Ma affinché eglino non periscano, ove vengano a toccare le cose sante, fate così: Aronne, ei suoi figliuoli entrino (nel santuario), ed ei preparino a ciascheduno il loro incarico, e spartiscano quello che gli altri debbono portare.
Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán á cada uno en su oficio, y en su cargo.
But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:

Gli altri non si lascin portare dalla curiosità a mirare le cose, che sono nel santuario, prima che sieno involte, altrimenti periranno.

And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
Le cortine dell'atrio, e il velo dell'ingresso dinanzi al tabernacolo. Tutte le cose che spettano all'altare, le funi, e i vasi del ministero,
Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca del tabernáculo y cerca del altar alrededor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos: así servirán.
And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

Li porteranno i figliuoli di Gerson secondo gli ordini che avranno da Aronne, e dai figliuoli di lui, e ad ognun di loro sarà noto il servigio che dee prestare.
Según la orden de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todos sus cargos, y en todo su servicio: y les encomendaréis en guarda todos sus cargos.
At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
