Y LLEGARON los príncipes de los padres de la familia de Galaad, hijo de Machîr, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de los hijos de José; y hablaron delante de Moisés, y de los príncipes, cabezas de padres de los hijos de Israel,
And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel.
And they said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land by lot as an inheritance to the ⌞Israelites⌟, and my lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
Y dijeron: Jehová mandó á mi señor que por suerte diese la tierra á los hijos de Israel en posesión: también ha mandado Jehová á mi señor, que dé la posesión de Salphaad nuestro hermano á sus hijas;
And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
They said, “The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
But if they become wives to one of the sons from another tribe of the ⌞Israelites⌟, their inheritance will disappear from the inheritance of our ancestors, and it will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; the lot of our inheritance would disappear.
Las cuales, si se casaren con algunos de los hijos de las otras tribus de los hijos de Israel, la herencia de ellas será así desfalcada de la herencia de nuestros padres, y será añadida á la herencia de la tribu á que serán unidas: y será quitada de la suerte de nuestra heredad.
And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
When the Jubilee of the ⌞Israelites⌟ ⌞comes⌟, it will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; and their inheritance will disappear from the tribe of our father.”
Y cuando viniere el jubileo de los hijos de Israel, la heredad de ellas será añadida á la heredad de la tribu de sus maridos; y así la heredad de ellas será quitada de la heredad de la tribu de nuestros padres.
And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
Then Moses commanded the ⌞Israelites⌟ by the command of Yahweh, saying, “The tribe of the descendants of Joseph is right regarding what they are speaking.
Entonces Moisés mandó á los hijos de Israel por dicho de Jehová, diciendo: La tribu de los hijos de José habla rectamente.
And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.

This is the word that Yahweh commanded the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘⌞Let them marry⌟ ⌞whomever they like⌟; only ⌞they must marry⌟ from within the clan of the tribe of their father.
Esto es lo que ha mandado Jehová acerca de las hijas de Salphaad, diciendo: Cásense como á ellas les pluguiere, empero en la familia de la tribu de su padre se casarán;
This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.
This is the thing which the LORD commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best, only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father.
Thus an inheritance of the ⌞Israelites⌟ will not go around from tribe to tribe. Rather, the inheritance of each tribe of his father will remain with the ⌞Israelites⌟.
Para que la heredad de los hijos de Israel no sea traspasada de tribu en tribu; porque cada uno de los hijos de Israel se allegará á la heredad de la tribu de sus padres.
So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
Every daughter who possesses an inheritance from the tribes of the ⌞Israelites⌟ will ⌞marry⌟ one of the clan of the tribe of her father, so that the ⌞Israelites⌟ will possess the inheritance of his ancestors.
Y cualquiera hija que poseyere heredad de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, con alguno de la familia de la tribu de su padre se casará, para que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno la heredad de sus padres,
And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.
Therefore an inheritance will not go around from one tribe to another tribe because the tribes of the ⌞Israelites⌟ will each hold to their own inheritance.’ ”
Y no ande la heredad rodando de una tribu á otra: mas cada una de las tribus de los hijos de Israel se llegue á su heredad.
Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.
So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’”
Just as Yahweh commanded to Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did:
Como Jehová mandó á Moisés, así hicieron las hijas de Salphaad.
Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:
The daughters of Zelophehad did as the LORD commanded Moses:
Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, ⌞married⌟ the sons of their uncles.
Y así Maala, y Tirsa, y Hogla, y Milchâ, y Noa, hijas de Salphaad, se casaron con hijos de sus tíos:
For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father’s brothers’ sons:
for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons.
⌞They married⌟ those from the sons of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance ⌞remained⌟ among the tribe of the clan of their ancestors.
De la familia de los hijos de Manasés, hijo de José, fueron mujeres; y la heredad de ellas quedó en la tribu de la familia de su padre.
And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
