Und Jahwe redete mit Mose in den Steppen Moabs am Jordan gegenüber Jericho also:

Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán de Jericó, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

Befiehl den Israeliten, daß sie von ihrem Erbbesitze den Leviten Städte zu Wohnsitzen geben. Zu den Städten aber sollt ihr den Leviten auch Weidetrift rings um sie her geben;

Manda á los hijos de Israel, que den á los Levitas de la posesión de su heredad ciudades en que habiten: también daréis á los Levitas los ejidos de esas ciudades alrededor de ellas.

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.

“Command the children of Israel to give to the Levites cities to dwell in out of their inheritance. You shall give pasture lands for the cities around them to the Levites.

und zwar sollen ihnen die Städte als Wohnsitz dienen, die dazu gehörenden Weidetriften aber sollen sie für ihre Lasttiere, ihren Viehstand und für alle ihre anderen Tiere haben.

Y tendrán ellos las ciudades para habitar, y los ejidos de ellas serán para sus animales, y para sus ganados, y para todas sus bestias.

And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.

They shall have the cities to dwell in. Their pasture lands shall be for their livestock, and for their possessions, and for all their animals.

Es sollen sich aber die Weidetriften bei den Städten, die ihr den Leviten abtreten werdet, von der Stadtmauer ab ringsum tausend Ellen weit erstrecken.

Y los ejidos de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, serán mil codos alrededor, desde el muro de la ciudad para afuera.

And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.

“The pasture lands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall be from the wall of the city and outward one thousand cubits around it.

Und ihr sollt außerhalb der Stadt auf der Ostseite zweitausend Ellen abmessen, ebenso auf der Südseite zweitausend Ellen, auf der Westseite zweitausend Ellen und auf der Nordseite zweitausend Ellen, während die Stadt in die Mitte zu liegen kommt. Das soll ihnen als Weidetrift bei den Städten zufallen.

Luego mediréis fuera de la ciudad á la parte del oriente dos mil codos, y á la parte del mediodía dos mil codos, y á la parte del occidente dos mil codos, y á la parte del norte dos mil codos, y la ciudad en medio: esto tendrán por los ejidos de las ciudades.

And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.

You shall measure outside of the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall be the pasture lands of their cities.

Und was die Städte betrifft, die ihr den Leviten abzutreten habt, so sollt ihr die sechs Freistädte abtreten, damit dorthin fliehen kann, wer einen Totschlag begangen hat; außerdem aber sollt ihr zweiundvierzig Städte abtreten.

Y de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, seis ciudades serán de acogimiento, las cuales daréis para que el homicida se acoja allá: y además de éstas daréis cuarenta y dos ciudades.

And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.

“The cities which you shall give to the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the man slayer to flee to. Besides them you shall give forty-two cities.

Die Gesamtzahl der Städte, die ihr den Leviten abzutreten habt, soll sich auf achtundvierzig Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften belaufen.

Todas las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas serán cuarenta y ocho ciudades; ellas con sus ejidos.

So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.

All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities together with their pasture lands.

Und zwar sollt ihr die größeren Stämme der Israeliten mehr, die kleineren weniger Städte von ihrem Erbbesitz abtreten lassen; nach Maßgabe des erblichen Besitzes, den sie zu eigen erhalten werden, sollen sie ein jeder eine Anzahl seiner Städte an die Leviten abtreten.

Y las ciudades que diereis de la heredad de los hijos de Israel, del que mucho tomaréis mucho, y del que poco tomaréis poco: cada uno dará de sus ciudades á los Levitas según la posesión que heredará.

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.

Concerning the cities which you shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many you shall take many, and from the few you shall take few. Everyone according to his inheritance which he inherits shall give some of his cities to the Levites.”

Und Jahwe redete mit Mose also:

Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Rede mit den Israeliten und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr über den Jordan hinüber in das Land Kanaan kommt,

Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hubiereis pasado el Jordán á la tierra de Canaán,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

so sollt ihr geeignete Städte bestimmen, damit sie euch als Freistädte dienen; dorthin mag fliehen, wer einen Totschlag begangen, einen Menschen unvorsätzlich getötet hat.

Os señalaréis ciudades, ciudades de acogimiento tendréis, donde huya el homicida que hiriere á alguno de muerte por yerro.

Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.

then you shall appoint for yourselves cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the man slayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

Und zwar sollen euch diese Städte als Zuflucht vor dem Bluträcher dienen, damit der Totschläger nicht getötet wird, bis er zum behufe seiner Aburteilung vor der Gemeinde gestanden hat.

Y os serán aquellas ciudades por acogimiento del pariente, y no morirá el homicida hasta que esté á juicio delante de la congregación.

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.

The cities shall be for your refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment.

Es sollen aber der Freistädte, die ihr abzutreten habt, sechs sein.

De las ciudades, pues, que daréis, tendréis seis ciudades de acogimiento.

And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.

The cities which you shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.

Drei Städte sollt ihr jenseits des Jordan abtreten und drei Städte sollt ihr im Lande Kanaan abtreten; Freistädte sollen es sein.

Tres ciudades daréis de esta parte del Jordán, y tres ciudades daréis en la tierra de Canaán; las cuales serán ciudades de acogimiento.

Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.

You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and you shall give three cities in the land of Canaan. They shall be cities of refuge.

Den Israeliten, sowie dem Fremden und dem Beisassen unter euch, sollen diese sechs Städte als Zuflucht dienen, damit jeder dorthin ziehe, der unvorsätzlich einen Menschen getötet hat.

Estas seis ciudades serán para acogimiento á los hijos de Israel, y al peregrino, y al que morare entre ellos, para que huya allá cualquiera que hiriere de muerte á otro por yerro.

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

These six cities shall be refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the foreigner living among them, that everyone who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

Hat er ihn aber mit einem eisernen Geräte getroffen, so daß er starb, so ist er ein Mörder; der Mörder ist mit dem Tode zu bestrafen.

Y si con instrumento de hierro lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá:

And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

“‘But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

Wenn er ihn mit einem Steine, den er in der Hand führte, und durch den einer getötet werden kann, getroffen hat, so daß er starb, so ist er ein Mörder; der Mörder ist mit dem Tode zu bestrafen.

Y si con piedra de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.

And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

Und wenn er ihn mit einem hölzernen Geräte, das er in der Hand führte, und durch das einer getötet werden kann, getroffen hat, so daß er starb, so ist er ein Mörder; der Mörder ist mit dem Tode zu bestrafen.

Y si con instrumento de palo de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.

Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

Und zwar soll der Bluträcher den Mörder töten; wenn er ihn antrifft, soll er ihn töten.

El pariente del muerto, él matará al homicida: cuando lo encontrare, él le matará.

The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

Und wenn er ihm aus Haß einen Stoß gegeben oder absichtlich etwas auf ihn geworfen hat, so daß er starb,

Y si por odio lo empujó, ó echó sobre él alguna cosa por asechanzas, y muere;

But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;

If he shoved him out of hatred, or hurled something at him while lying in wait, so that he died,

oder wenn er ihn aus Feindschaft auch nur mit der Hand geschlagen hat, so daß er starb, so soll der, welcher geschlagen hat, mit dem Tode bestraft werden. Er ist ein Mörder; der Bluträcher soll den Mörder töten, wenn er ihn antrifft.

O por enemistad lo hirió con su mano, y murió: el heridor morirá; es homicida; el pariente del muerto matará al homicida, cuando lo encontrare.

Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.

or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

Hat er ihn aber von ungefähr gestoßen, ohne daß Feindschaft vorlag, oder unabsichtlich irgend ein Geräte auf ihn geworfen

Mas si casualmente lo empujó sin enemistades, ó echó sobre él cualquier instrumento sin asechanzas,

But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,

“‘But if he shoved him suddenly without hostility, or hurled on him anything without lying in wait,

oder irgend einen Stein, durch den einer getötet werden kann, auf ihn fallen lassen, so daß er starb, während er doch keine Feindschaft gegen ihn hegte und ihm nichts Böses zufügen wollte,

O bien, sin verlo, hizo caer sobre él alguna piedra, de que pudo morir, y muriere, y él no era su enemigo, ni procuraba su mal;

Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm:

or with any stone, by which a man may die, not seeing him, and cast it on him so that he died, and he was not his enemy and not seeking his harm,

so soll die Gemeinde nach obigen Rechtssatzungen schiedsrichterlich zwischen dem Schläger und dem Bluträcher entscheiden.

Entonces la congregación juzgará entre el heridor y el pariente del muerto conforme á estas leyes:

Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments:

then the congregation shall judge between the striker and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances.

Und die Gemeinde soll den Totschläger vor dem Bluträcher retten und die Gemeinde soll ihn in die Stadt, wohin er geflohen war und Zuflucht gefunden hatte, zurückbringen lassen, und er soll in ihr bleiben bis zum Tode des Hohenpriesters, den man mit dem heiligen Öle gesalbt hat.

Y la congregación librará al homicida de mano del pariente del muerto, y la congregación lo hará volver á su ciudad de acogimiento, á la cual se había acogido; y morará en ella hasta que muera el gran sacerdote, el cual fué ungido con el aceite santo.

And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.

The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

Sollte aber der Totschläger den Bereich der Stadt, wohin er geflohen war und Zuflucht gefunden hatte, verlassen,

Y si el homicida saliere fuera del término de su ciudad de refugio, á la cual se acogió,

But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;

“‘But if the man slayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge where he flees,

und der Bluträcher ihn außerhalb des Bereichs der Stadt, die ihm Zuflucht bietet, antreffen, und sollte dann der Bluträcher den Totschläger töten, so hat er keine Blutschuld.

Y el pariente del muerto le hallare fuera del término de la ciudad de su acogida, y el pariente del muerto al homicida matare, no se le culpará por ello:

And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:

and the avenger of blood finds him outside of the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the man slayer, he shall not be guilty of blood,

Denn jener hat in der Stadt, die ihm Zuflucht bietet, bis zum Tode des Hohenpriesters zu bleiben; nach dem Tode des Hohenpriesters jedoch darf der Totschläger dahin zurückkehren, wo er seinen Erbbesitz hat.

Pues en su ciudad de refugio deberá aquél habitar hasta que muera el gran sacerdote: y después que muriere el gran sacerdote, el homicida volverá á la tierra de su posesión.

Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

Diese Bestimmungen sollen euch als Rechtssatzung gelten, die ihr beobachten sollt von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht in allen euren Wohnsitzen.

Y estas cosas os serán por ordenanza de derecho por vuestras edades, en todas vuestras habitaciones.

So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

“‘These things shall be for a statute and ordinance to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Wenn jemand einen Menschen erschlägt, so soll man auf Grund der Aussage von Zeugen den Mörder hinrichten; doch soll auf die Aussage nur eines Zeugen hin niemand zum Tode verurteilt werden.

Cualquiera que hiriere á alguno, por dicho de testigos, morirá el homicida: mas un solo testigo no hará fe contra alguna persona para que muera.

Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

“‘Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain based on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify alone against any person so that he dies.

Ihr dürft aber kein Lösegeld annehmen für das Leben des Mörders, der des Todes schuldig ist, vielmehr soll er mit dem Tode bestraft werden.

Y no tomaréis precio por la vida del homicida; porque está condenado á muerte: mas indefectiblemente morirá.

Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

“‘Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death. He shall surely be put to death.

Auch dürft ihr kein Lösegeld zu dem Zweck annehmen, daß einer nicht in die Stadt, die ihm Zuflucht bietet, zu fliehen braucht, sondern noch vor dem Tode des Priesters wiederkommen und irgendwo im Lande wohnen darf.

Ni tampoco tomaréis precio del que huyó á su ciudad de refugio, para que vuelva á vivir en su tierra, hasta que muera el sacerdote.

And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.

“‘You shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.

Und ihr sollt das Land, in welchem ihr euch befindet, nicht entweihen; denn das Blut entweiht das Land, und dem Lande wird nicht Sühne geschafft für das Blut, das in ihm vergossen ward, außer durch das Blut dessen, der es vergossen hat.

Y no contaminaréis la tierra donde estuviereis: porque esta sangre amancillará la tierra: y la tierra no será expiada de la sangre que fué derramada en ella, sino por la sangre del que la derramó.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

“‘So you shall not pollute the land where you live; for blood pollutes the land. No atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.

So verunreinigt denn das Land nicht, in welchem ihr wohnt, da auch ich darin wohne; denn ich, Jahwe, wohne unter den Israeliten.

No contaminéis, pues, la tierra donde habitáis, en medio de la cual yo habito; porque yo Jehová habito en medio de los hijos de Israel.

Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.

You shall not defile the land which you inhabit, where I dwell; for I, the LORD, dwell among the children of Israel.’”
