Y LOS hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una muy grande muchedumbre de ganado; los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el país lugar de ganado.

le pays que le SEIGNEUR a frappé devant la communauté d'Israël, est un pays pour le bétail ; et tes serviteurs ont du bétail. »
La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.
Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:
the land which the LORD struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.”
Ils ajoutèrent : « Si nous avons trouvé grâce à tes yeux, que ce pays soit donné en possession à tes serviteurs. Ne nous fais pas passer le Jourdain. »
Por tanto, dijeron, si hallamos gracia en tus ojos, dése esta tierra á tus siervos en heredad, y no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.
Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.

Moïse répondit aux fils de Gad et aux fils de Ruben : « Vos frères iront-ils à la guerre pendant que vous resterez assis ici ?

Car, lorsqu'ils montèrent jusqu'à la vallée d'Eshcol et qu'ils virent le pays, ils découragèrent le cœur des fils d'Israël, pour qu'ils n'entrent pas dans le pays que le SEIGNEUR leur avait donné.

And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

mais nous, nous nous armerons en hâte pour marcher devant les fils d'Israël, jusqu'à ce que nous les ayons introduits dans leur lieu. Nos petits enfants habiteront dans les villes fortifiées, à cause des habitants du pays.
Y nosotros nos armaremos, é iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes á causa de los moradores del país.
But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

Porque no tomaremos heredad con ellos al otro lado del Jordán ni adelante, por cuanto tendremos ya nuestra heredad de estotra parte del Jordán al oriente.
For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

Moïse leur dit : « Si vous faites cela, si vous vous armez pour aller à la guerre devant le SEIGNEUR,
Entonces les respondió Moisés: Si lo hiciereis así, si os apercibiereis para ir delante de Jehová á la guerra,
And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

Y pasareis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado á sus enemigos de delante de sí,
And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,
and every one of your armed men will pass over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
et que le pays soit soumis devant le SEIGNEUR ; alors, ensuite, vous pourrez retourner, et vous serez quittes de toute obligation envers le SEIGNEUR et envers Israël. Et ce pays sera votre possession devant le SEIGNEUR.

Les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben parlèrent à Moïse : « Tes serviteurs feront ce que mon seigneur ordonne.

Moïse donna donc des ordres à leur sujet à Éléazar le prêtre, à Josué, fils de Nun, et aux chefs de famille des tribus des fils d'Israël.
Entonces los encomendó Moisés á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

Moïse leur dit : « Si les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben passent avec vous le Jourdain, tous les hommes armés pour combattre devant le SEIGNEUR, et que le pays soit soumis devant vous, alors vous leur donnerez le pays de Galaad en possession ;
Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, armados todos de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que el país fuere sojuzgado delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:
And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;
mais s'ils ne passent pas armés avec vous, ils auront des possessions au milieu de vous dans le pays de Canaan. »
Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros, entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.

Así les dió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén, y á la media tribu de Manasés hijo de José, el reino de Sehón rey Amorrheo, y el reino de Og rey de Basán, la tierra con sus ciudades y términos, las ciudades del país alrededor.
And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.
