Números 32

Quando os israelitas chegaram às terras de Jazar e Gileade, as tribos de Rúben e Gade, que possuíam grandes rebanhos de gado, viram que o lugar era muito bom para a criação de animais.

Y LOS hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una muy grande muchedumbre de ganado; los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el país lugar de ganado.

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock. They saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead. Behold, the place was a place for livestock.

Então eles foram a Moisés, ao sacerdote Eleazar, e aos outros líderes do povo, e disseram:

Y vinieron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, y hablaron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á los príncipes de la congregación, diciendo:

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,

“Atarote, Dibom, Jazar, Nimra, Hesbom, Eleal, Sebã, Nebo e Beom,

Ataroth, y Dibón, y Jazer, y Nimra, y Hesbón, y Eleale, y Sabán, y Nebo, y Beón,

Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,

“Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

terras que o Senhor nos entregou perante a comunidade de Israel, é terra excelente para a criação de gado, e os seus servos têm muito gado”.

La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.

Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:

the land which the LORD struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.”

E acrescentaram: “Por isso pedimos para ficar com esta terra como herança, em vez de cruzar o rio Jordão”.

Por tanto, dijeron, si hallamos gracia en tus ojos, dése esta tierra á tus siervos en heredad, y no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.

Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.

They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Don’t bring us over the Jordan.”

Mas Moisés respondeu às tribos de Rúben e Gade: “E os seus irmãos irão à guerra enquanto vocês ficam aqui?

Y respondió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén: ¿Vendrán vuestros hermanos á la guerra, y vosotros os quedaréis aquí?

And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?

Moses said to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?

Por que vocês desencorajam os israelitas para que não entrem na terra que o Senhor lhes está dando?

¿Y por qué prevenís el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no pasen á la tierra que les ha dado Jehová?

And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD hath given them?

Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?

Aliás, os seus pais fizeram a mesma coisa, quando estávamos em Cades-Barneia, quando enviei alguns homens para espionar a terra.

Así hicieron vuestros padres, cuando los envié desde Cades-barnea para que viesen la tierra.

Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

Your fathers did so when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.

Quando chegaram até o vale de Escol e viram a terra, desencorajaram o povo para não conquistar a terra que o Senhor nos deu.

Que subieron hasta la arroyada de Escol, y después que vieron la tierra, preocuparon el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no viniesen á la tierra que Jehová les había dado.

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

E o Senhor ficou irado naquele dia, e fez o seguinte juramento:

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió entonces, y juró diciendo:

And the LORD’s anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,

The LORD’s anger burned in that day, and he swore, saying,

‘Nenhum dos homens que saíram do Egito com mais de 20 anos de idade verá a terra que prometi a Abraão, Isaque e Jacó.

Que no verán los varones que subieron de Egipto de veinte años arriba, la tierra por la cual juré á Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, por cuanto no fueron perfectos en pos de mí;

Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

‘Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me,

Calebe, filho de Jefoné, o quenezeu, e Josué, filho de Num, foram os únicos que continuaram fiéis ao Senhor’.

Excepto Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, y Josué hijo de Nun, que fueron perfectos en pos de Jehová.

Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, because they have followed the LORD completely.’

Por isso o Senhor ficou irado com Israel e fez o povo andar sem destino durante 40 anos pelo deserto, até que morresse toda aquela geração que tinha desagradado ao Senhor.

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió en Israel, é hízolos andar errantes cuarenta años por el desierto, hasta que fué acabada toda aquella generación, que había hecho mal delante de Jehová.

And the LORD’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he made them wander back and forth in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation who had done evil in the LORD’s sight was consumed.

“E agora vocês, multidão de homens pecadores, estão fazendo as mesmas coisas que seus pais fizeram, para aumentar ainda mais a ira do Senhor contra Israel.

Y he aquí vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, prole de hombres pecadores, para añadir aún á la ira de Jehová contra Israel.

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

“Behold, you have risen up in your fathers’ place, an increase of sinful men, to increase the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

Se vocês deixarem de segui-lo, ele deixará todo o povo outra vez no deserto, e vocês serão culpados pela destruição deles”.

Si os volviereis de en pos de él, él volverá otra vez á dejaros en el desierto, y destruiréis á todo este pueblo.

For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.

For if you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and you will destroy all these people.”

Então as tribos de Rúben e de Gade se aproximaram de Moisés e disseram: “Construiremos aqui currais para o nosso gado e cidades para os nossos filhos.

Entonces ellos se llegaron á él y dijeron: Edificaremos aquí majadas para nuestro ganado, y ciudades para nuestros niños;

And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

They came near to him, and said, “We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones;

Mas nós nos prepararemos para a guerra, e estaremos prontos para irmos à frente do povo até que o levemos ao seu destino. Porém as nossas crianças morarão em cidades fortificadas para estarem protegidas dos ataques dos habitantes da terra.

Y nosotros nos armaremos, é iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes á causa de los moradores del país.

But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place. Our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

E não voltaremos para os nossos lares até que todo o povo conquiste toda a terra que o Senhor deu como herança.

No volveremos á nuestras casas hasta que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno su heredad.

We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

We will not return to our houses until the children of Israel have all received their inheritance.

Não herdaremos com eles a terra do outro lado do Jordão, pois preferimos ficar aqui, no lado leste do Jordão”.

Porque no tomaremos heredad con ellos al otro lado del Jordán ni adelante, por cuanto tendremos ya nuestra heredad de estotra parte del Jordán al oriente.

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this side of the Jordan eastward.”

Então Moisés disse-lhes: “Está certo. Se vocês se prepararem para a batalha perante o Senhor,

Entonces les respondió Moisés: Si lo hiciereis así, si os apercibiereis para ir delante de Jehová á la guerra,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

Moses said to them: “If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before the LORD to the war,

e se, armados, atravessarem o Jordão perante o Senhor, até que ele tenha expulsado os seus inimigos diante dele,

Y pasareis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado á sus enemigos de delante de sí,

And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,

and every one of your armed men will pass over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven out his enemies from before him,

e a terra seja conquistada para o Senhor, então vocês poderão voltar para cá e estarão livres da sua obrigação perante o Senhor e perante Israel. E o Senhor dará esta terra como propriedade para vocês.

Y sea el país sojuzgado delante de Jehová; luego volveréis, y seréis libres de culpa para con Jehová, y para con Israel; y esta tierra será vuestra en heredad delante de Jehová.

And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

and the land is subdued before the LORD; then afterward you shall return, and be clear of obligation to the LORD and to Israel. Then this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

“Mas, se vocês não fizerem como prometeram, então estarão pecando contra o Senhor e sofrerão as consequências do seu pecado.

Mas si así no lo hiciereis, he aquí habréis pecado á Jehová; y sabed que os alcanzará vuestro pecado.

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

“But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.

Construam cidades para as crianças e currais para os seus rebanhos, mas cumpram o que prometeram”.

Edificaos ciudades para vuestros niños, y majadas para vuestras ovejas, y haced lo que ha salido de vuestra boca.

Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.

Build cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.”

Então os homens de Gade e os filhos de Rúben responderam a Moisés: “Nós, seus servos, obedeceremos às ordens do senhor.

Y hablaron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén á Moisés, diciendo: Tus siervos harán como mi señor ha mandado.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, “Your servants will do as my lord commands.

Nossos filhos e nossas mulheres, nossos rebanhos e todos os animais ficarão aqui nas cidades de Gileade,

Nuestros niños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros ganados, y todas nuestras bestias, estarán ahí en las ciudades de Galaad;

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock shall be there in the cities of Gilead;

mas nós, os seus servos, nos prepararemos para a guerra e atravessaremos para lutar perante o Senhor, de acordo com o que senhor está dizendo”.

Y tus siervos, armados todos de guerra, pasarán delante de Jehová á la guerra, de la manera que mi señor dice.

But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.

but your servants will pass over, every man who is armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord says.”

Então Moisés deu a seguinte ordem ao sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, filho de Num, e aos chefes das famílias das tribos israelitas:

Entonces los encomendó Moisés á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.

So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

So Moses commanded concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers’ households of the tribes of the children of Israel.

“Se os homens das tribos de Gade e de Rúben atravessarem armados com vocês o Jordão, perante o Senhor, e vocês tomarem a terra, então vocês devem entregar a eles como propriedade a terra de Gileade.

Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, armados todos de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que el país fuere sojuzgado delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:

And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;

Mas, se eles não se prepararem para a guerra e não atravessarem armados com vocês o rio Jordão, então terão de aceitar a herança deles na terra de Canaã”.

Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros, entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.

But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.

but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.”

E as tribos de Gade e Rúben responderam: “Faremos o que o Senhor falou aos seus servos.

Y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron, diciendo: Haremos lo que Jehová ha dicho á tus siervos.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, “As the LORD has said to your servants, so will we do.

Nós atravessaremos armados perante o Senhor e iremos à terra de Canaã, depois tomaremos conta da nossa parte deste lado do rio Jordão”.

Nosotros pasaremos armados delante de Jehová á la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra heredad será de esta parte del Jordán.

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.”

Moisés deu às tribos de Gade e de Rúben e à metade da tribo de Manassés, filho de José, o reino de Seom, rei dos amorreus, e o reino de Ogue, rei de Basã, toda a terra com as suas cidades e o território ao redor delas.

Así les dió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén, y á la media tribu de Manasés hijo de José, el reino de Sehón rey Amorrheo, y el reino de Og rey de Basán, la tierra con sus ciudades y términos, las ciudades del país alrededor.

And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan; the land, according to its cities and borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.

A tribo de Gade construiu as cidades de Dibom, Atarote, Aroer,

Y los hijos de Gad edificaron á Dibón, y á Ataroth, y á Aroer,

And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,

The children of Gad built Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,

Atarote-Sofã, Jazar, Jogbeá,

Y á Atroth-sophan, y á Jazer, y á Jogbaa,

And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,

Bete-Nimra e Bete-Harã. Construíram muralhas ao redor delas e currais para os rebanhos.

Y á Beth-nimra, y á Betharán: ciudades fuertes, y también majadas para ovejas.

And Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.

Beth Nimrah, and Beth Haran: fortified cities and folds for sheep.

E a tribo de Rúben reconstruiu as seguintes cidades: Hesbom, Eleal, Quiriataim,

Y los hijos de Rubén edificaron á Hesbón, y á Eleale, y á Kiriathaim,

And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

The children of Reuben built Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,

bem como Nebo, Baal-Meom e Sibma. Os israelitas mais tarde mudaram os nomes das cidades que reconstruíram.

Y á Nebo, y á Baal-meón, (mudados los nombres), y á Sibma: y pusieron nombres á las ciudades que edificaron.

And Nebo, and Baal-meon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they builded.

Os descendentes de Maquir, filho de Manassés, foram a Gileade, tomaram a cidade e expulsaram os amorreus que moravam ali.

Y los hijos de Machîr hijo de Manasés fueron á Galaad, y tomáronla, y echaron al Amorrheo que estaba en ella.

And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

Então Moisés deu Gileade a Maquir, descendente de Manassés, e eles passaram a morar ali.

Y Moisés dió Galaad á Machîr hijo de Manasés, el cual habitó en ella.

And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.

Jair, descendente de Manassés, conquistou os povoados e mudou o nome da região para Havote-Jair.

También Jair hijo de Manasés fué y tomó sus aldeas, y púsoles por nombre Havoth-jair.

And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havoth-jair.

E um homem chamado Noba conquistou a cidade de Quenate com seus povoados, e chamou-a pelo seu nome Noba.

Asimismo Noba fué y tomó á Kenath y sus aldeas, y llamóle Noba, conforme á su nombre.

And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.
