Rubens und Gads Söhne aber hatten einen großen, überreichen Herdenstand. Sie sahen nun das Land Jazer und das Land Gilead. Die Gegend aber war eine Herdengegend.

Y LOS hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una muy grande muchedumbre de ganado; los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el país lugar de ganado.

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock. They saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead. Behold, the place was a place for livestock.

So kamen Gads und Rubens Söhne und sprachen zu Moses und dem Priester Eleazar, sowie zu den Edlen der Gemeinde:

Y vinieron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, y hablaron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á los príncipes de la congregación, diciendo:

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,

"Atarot, Dibon, Jazer, Nimra, Chesbon, Elale, Sebam, Nebo, Beon,

Ataroth, y Dibón, y Jazer, y Nimra, y Hesbón, y Eleale, y Sabán, y Nebo, y Beón,

Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,

“Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

das Land, das der Herr vor der israelitischen Gemeinde niedergeworfen, ist ein Herdenland, und deine Knechte haben Herden."

La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.

Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:

the land which the LORD struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.”

Und sie sprachen: "Finden wir in deinen Augen Gnade, so werde dieses Land zum Besitz deinen Knechten verliehen! Siedle uns nicht über dem Jordan an!"

Por tanto, dijeron, si hallamos gracia en tus ojos, dése esta tierra á tus siervos en heredad, y no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.

Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.

They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Don’t bring us over the Jordan.”

Da sprach Moses zu Gads und Rubens Söhnen: "Sollen eure Brüder in die Schlacht ziehen, und ihr wollt hier bleiben?

Y respondió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén: ¿Vendrán vuestros hermanos á la guerra, y vosotros os quedaréis aquí?

And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?

Moses said to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?

Warum hindert ihr das Herz der Söhne Israels, hinüberzuziehen in das Land, das ihnen der Herr gegeben?

¿Y por qué prevenís el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no pasen á la tierra que les ha dado Jehová?

And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD hath given them?

Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?

So haben eure Väter getan, als ich sie von Kades Barnea zur Besichtigung des Landes gesandt.

Así hicieron vuestros padres, cuando los envié desde Cades-barnea para que viesen la tierra.

Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

Sie kamen bis zum Traubental hinauf und besahen das Land. Dann hinderten sie das Herz der Söhne Israels, ins Land zu kommen, das ihnen der Herr gegeben.

Que subieron hasta la arroyada de Escol, y después que vieron la tierra, preocuparon el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no viniesen á la tierra que Jehová les había dado.

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

Da geriet der Herr an jenem Tage in Zorn und tat den Schwur:

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió entonces, y juró diciendo:

And the LORD’s anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,

'Die Männer, die aus Ägypten gezogen, von zwanzig Jahren aufwärts, sollen nie die Gegend sehen, die ich dem Abraham, Isaak und Jakob zugeschworen habe! Denn sie sind mir nicht voll ergeben gewesen.

Que no verán los varones que subieron de Egipto de veinte años arriba, la tierra por la cual juré á Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, por cuanto no fueron perfectos en pos de mí;

Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

‘Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me,

Nur der Keniziter Kaleb, Jephunnes Sohn, und Josue, der Sohn des Nun, sind mir voll ergeben gewesen.'

Excepto Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, y Josué hijo de Nun, que fueron perfectos en pos de Jehová.

Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, because they have followed the LORD completely.’

Da ward der Herr zornig über Israel und ließ sie in der Wüste vierzig Jahre umherirren, bis daß ausgestorben war dies Geschlecht, das Böses in des Herrn Augen getan.

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió en Israel, é hízolos andar errantes cuarenta años por el desierto, hasta que fué acabada toda aquella generación, que había hecho mal delante de Jehová.

And the LORD’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

Ihr steht nun an eurer Väter Stelle, eine Brut sündiger Menschen, nur um des Herrn Zornesglut über Israel noch zu steigern.

Y he aquí vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, prole de hombres pecadores, para añadir aún á la ira de Jehová contra Israel.

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

“Behold, you have risen up in your fathers’ place, an increase of sinful men, to increase the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

Und wendet ihr euch von ihm ab, so beläßt er es noch länger in der Wüste. So stürzt ihr dies ganze Volk ins Verderben."

Si os volviereis de en pos de él, él volverá otra vez á dejaros en el desierto, y destruiréis á todo este pueblo.

For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.

Da drangen sie auf ihn ein und sprachen: "Hier wollen wir für unseren Herdenstand Schafhürden bauen und für unsere kleinen Kinder Städte.

Entonces ellos se llegaron á él y dijeron: Edificaremos aquí majadas para nuestro ganado, y ciudades para nuestros niños;

And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

They came near to him, and said, “We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones;

Wir selbst aber wollen als Vortrupp den Israeliten voranziehen, bis daß wir sie an ihren Ort gebracht. Doch unsere kleinen Kinder sollen vor des Landes Insassen in festen Städten sitzen.

Y nosotros nos armaremos, é iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes á causa de los moradores del país.

But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

In unsere Häuser kehren wir nicht zurück, bis von den Israeliten jeder zu seinem Besitz gelangt ist.

No volveremos á nuestras casas hasta que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno su heredad.

We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

We will not return to our houses until the children of Israel have all received their inheritance.

Denn wir wollen nicht mit ihnen zusammen über dem Jordan und weiterhin Besitz bekommen, wenn uns unser Besitz östlich über dem Jordan zufällt."

Porque no tomaremos heredad con ellos al otro lado del Jordán ni adelante, por cuanto tendremos ya nuestra heredad de estotra parte del Jordán al oriente.

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this side of the Jordan eastward.”

Da sprach Moses zu ihnen: "Wollt ihr das tun, wollt ihr vor dem Herrn sturmbereit zum Kampf voranschreiten

Entonces les respondió Moisés: Si lo hiciereis así, si os apercibiereis para ir delante de Jehová á la guerra,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

Moses said to them: “If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before the LORD to the war,

und überschreitet ihr vor dem Herrn, jeder von euch sturmbereit, den Jordan, bis daß er seine Feinde vor sich vertilgt hat,

Y pasareis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado á sus enemigos de delante de sí,

And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,

and every one of your armed men will pass over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven out his enemies from before him,

und wird dieses Land vor dem Herrn niedergeworfen, und kehrt ihr danach heim, dann seid ihr dem Herrn und Israel gegenüber unsträflich, und dieses Land falle euch vom Herrn aus als Besitztum zu!

Y sea el país sojuzgado delante de Jehová; luego volveréis, y seréis libres de culpa para con Jehová, y para con Israel; y esta tierra será vuestra en heredad delante de Jehová.

And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

and the land is subdued before the LORD; then afterward you shall return, and be clear of obligation to the LORD and to Israel. Then this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

Doch tut ihr nicht so, dann sündigt ihr an dem Herrn. Wisset dann, daß eure Sünden euch finden werden.

Mas si así no lo hiciereis, he aquí habréis pecado á Jehová; y sabed que os alcanzará vuestro pecado.

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

“But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.

Baut euch also Städte für eure kleinen Kinder und Hürden für eure Schafe! Doch tut, was ihr ausgesprochen habt!"

Edificaos ciudades para vuestros niños, y majadas para vuestras ovejas, y haced lo que ha salido de vuestra boca.

Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.

Da sprachen Gads und Rubens Söhne zu Moses: "Deine Knechte werden so tun, wie unser Herr befiehlt.

Y hablaron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén á Moisés, diciendo: Tus siervos harán como mi señor ha mandado.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, “Your servants will do as my lord commands.

Unsere kleinen Kinder, unsere Weiber, unser Herdenstand und all unser Vieh bleibe hier in Gileads Städten!

Nuestros niños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros ganados, y todas nuestras bestias, estarán ahí en las ciudades de Galaad;

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock shall be there in the cities of Gilead;

Doch deine Knechte ziehen hinüber, jeder sturmbereit, vor dem Herrn in den Krieg, wie es der Herr gesagt."

Y tus siervos, armados todos de guerra, pasarán delante de Jehová á la guerra, de la manera que mi señor dice.

But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.

but your servants will pass over, every man who is armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord says.”

Da gab Moses dem Priester Eleazar und Nuns Sohn, Josue, sowie den väterlichen Stammhäuptern der Israeliten ihretwegen Anweisung.

Entonces los encomendó Moisés á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.

So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

So Moses commanded concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers’ households of the tribes of the children of Israel.

Und Moses sprach zu ihnen: "Überschreiten mit euch vor dem Herrn die Söhne Gads und Rubens den Jordan, jeder sturmbereit, und wird das Land erobert und es stellt euch frei, dann gebt ihnen zu eigen das Land Gilead!

Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, armados todos de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que el país fuere sojuzgado delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:

And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;

Ziehen sie aber nicht mit euch sturmbereit hinüber, so müssen sie bei euch im Lande Kanaan siedeln."

Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros, entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.

But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.

Da antworteten Gads und Rubens Söhne: "Wir tun so, wie der Herr von deinen Knechten verlangt.

Y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron, diciendo: Haremos lo que Jehová ha dicho á tus siervos.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, “As the LORD has said to your servants, so will we do.

Wir ziehen vor dem Herrn sturmbereit ins Land Kanaan hinüber und so kommen wir in unseren Besitz jenseits des Jordans."

Nosotros pasaremos armados delante de Jehová á la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra heredad será de esta parte del Jordán.

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.”

So gab Moses ihnen, den Söhnen Gads und Rubens, und dem halben Stamme Manasses, des Josephsohnes, das Reich des Amoriterkönigs Sichon und das des Basankönigs Og, das Land mit seinen Städten nach Gemarkungen, die Städte des Landes ringsum.

Así les dió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén, y á la media tribu de Manasés hijo de José, el reino de Sehón rey Amorrheo, y el reino de Og rey de Basán, la tierra con sus ciudades y términos, las ciudades del país alrededor.

And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan; the land, according to its cities and borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.

So bauten Gads Söhne Dibon, Atarot und Aroer wieder auf,

Y los hijos de Gad edificaron á Dibón, y á Ataroth, y á Aroer,

And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,

ebenso Aterot Sophan, Jazer, Jogbeha,

Y á Atroth-sophan, y á Jazer, y á Jogbaa,

And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,

Bet Nimra und Bet Haran, feste Städte und Schafhürden.

Y á Beth-nimra, y á Betharán: ciudades fuertes, y también majadas para ovejas.

And Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.

Rubens Söhne aber bauten Chesbon, Elale, Kirjataim,

Y los hijos de Rubén edificaron á Hesbón, y á Eleale, y á Kiriathaim,

And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

Nebo und Baal Meon mit verändertem Namen wieder auf und Sibma, und sie gaben ihren Namen den Städten, die sie aufbauten.

Y á Nebo, y á Baal-meón, (mudados los nombres), y á Sibma: y pusieron nombres á las ciudades que edificaron.

And Nebo, and Baal-meon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they builded.

Die Söhne Makirs, des Manassesohnes, zogen nach Gilead, eroberten es und vertrieben den Amoriter, der darin war.

Y los hijos de Machîr hijo de Manasés fueron á Galaad, y tomáronla, y echaron al Amorrheo que estaba en ella.

And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

Manasses Sohn Jair zog aus, eroberte ihre Zeltdörfer und nannte sie Zeltdörfer Jairs.

También Jair hijo de Manasés fué y tomó sus aldeas, y púsoles por nombre Havoth-jair.
