Und nun seid ihr an eurer Väter Statt aufgetreten, eine Brut von Sündern, um den Zorn und Grimm des Herrn wider Israel noch grösser zu machen.

Y he aquí vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, prole de hombres pecadores, para añadir aún á la ira de Jehová contra Israel.

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
