E adesso (diss'egli) siete usciti fuora voi in luogo dei padri vostri, rampolli ed allievi di uomini peccatori, ad attizzare il furor del Signore contro Israele.

Y he aquí vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, prole de hombres pecadores, para añadir aún á la ira de Jehová contra Israel.

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
