L’Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant :

Y JEHOVÁ habló á Moisés, diciendo:

Fais la vengeance des enfants d’Israël sur les Madianites, puis tu seras recueilli vers tes peuples.

Haz la venganza de los hijos de Israel sobre los Madianitas; después serás recogido á tus pueblos.

Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.

“Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.”

Moïse donc parla au peuple, en disant : Que quelques-uns d’entre vous s’équipent pour aller à la guerre, et qu’ils aillent contre Madian, pour exécuter la vengeance de l’Eternel sur Madian.

Entonces Moisés habló al pueblo, diciendo: Armaos algunos de vosotros para la guerra, é irán contra Madián, y harán la venganza de Jehová en Madián.

And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.

Vous enverrez à la guerre mille hommes de chaque Tribu, de toutes les tribus d’Israël.

Mil de cada tribu de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel, enviaréis á la guerra.

Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.

You shall send one thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, to the war.”

On donna donc d’entre les milliers d’Israël mille hommes de chaque Tribu, qui furent douze mille hommes équipés pour la guerre.

Así fueron dados de los millares de Israel, mil por cada tribu, doce mil á punto de guerra.

So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

Ils marchèrent donc en guerre contre Madian, comme l’Eternel l’avait commandé à Moïse, et ils en tuèrent tous les mâles.

And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

Ils tuèrent aussi les Rois de Madian, outre les autres qui y furent tués, savoir Evi, Rékem, Tsur, Hur, et Rébah, cinq Rois de Madian ; ils firent aussi passer au fil de l’épée Balaam fils de Béhor.

Mataron también, entre los muertos de ellos, á los reyes de Madián: Evi, y Recem, y Zur, y Hur, y Reba, cinco reyes de Madián: á Balaam también, hijo de Beor, mataron á cuchillo.

And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

Et les enfants d’Israël emmenèrent prisonniers les femmes de Madian, avec leurs petits enfants, et pillèrent tout leur gros et menu bétail, et tout ce qui était en leur puissance.

And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

Puis ils amenèrent les prisonniers, le pillage, et le butin, à Moïse et à Eléazar le Sacrificateur, et à l’assemblée des enfants d’Israël, au camp dans les campagnes de Moab, qui sont près du Jourdain de Jéricho.

Y trajeron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á la congregación de los hijos de Israel, los cautivos y la presa y los despojos, al campo en los llanos de Moab, que están junto al Jordán de Jericó.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.

Alors Moïse et Eléazar le Sacrificateur, et tous les principaux de l’assemblée sortirent au devant d’eux hors du camp.

Et Moïse se mit en grande colère contre les Capitaines de l’armée, les chefs des milliers, et les chefs des centaines, qui retournaient de cet exploit de guerre.

And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.

Voici ce sont elles qui à la parole de Balaam, ont donné occasion aux enfants d’Israël de pécher contre l’Eternel au fait de Péhor ce qui attira la plaie sur l’assemblée de l’Eternel.

He aquí ellas fueron á los hijos de Israel, por consejo de Balaam, para causar prevaricación contra Jehová en el negocio de Peor; por lo que hubo mortandad en la congregación de Jehová.

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Au reste, demeurez sept jours hors du camp. Quiconque tuera quelqu’un, et quiconque touchera quelqu’un qui aura été tué, se purifiera le troisième et le septième jour, tant vous que vos prisonniers.

Y vosotros quedaos fuera del campo siete días: y todos los que hubieren matado persona, y cualquiera que hubiere tocado muerto, os purificaréis al tercero y al séptimo día, vosotros y vuestros cautivos.

And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.

“Encamp outside of the camp for seven days. Whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.

Vous purifierez aussi tous vos vêtements, et tout ce qui sera fait de peau, et tous ouvrages de poil de chèvre, et toute vaisselle de bois.

Asimismo purificaréis todo vestido, y toda prenda de pieles, y toda obra de pelos de cabra, y todo vaso de madera.

And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.

Et Eléazar le Sacrificateur dit aux hommes de guerre qui étaient allés à la bataille : Voici l’ordonnance et la Loi que l’Eternel a commandée à Moïse.

Y Eleazar el sacerdote dijo á los hombres de guerra que venían de la guerra: Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha mandado á Moisés:

And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

En général l’or, l’argent, l’airain, le fer, l’étain, le plomb ;

Ciertamente el oro, y la plata, metal, hierro, estaño, y plomo,

Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

However the gold, and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

Tout ce qui peut passer par le feu, vous le ferez passer par le feu, et il sera net ; seulement on le purifiera avec l’eau d’aspersion ; mais vous ferez passer par l’eau toutes les choses qui ne passent point par le feu.

Todo lo que resiste el fuego, por fuego lo haréis pasar, y será limpio, bien que en las aguas de purificación habrá de purificarse: mas haréis pasar por agua todo lo que no aguanta el fuego.

Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

Vous laverez aussi vos vêtements le septième-jour, et vous serez nets, puis vous entrerez au camp.

Fais le compte du butin, et de tout ce qu’on a emmené, tant des personnes que des bêtes, toi et Eléazar le Sacrificateur, et les chefs des pères de l’assemblée.

Toma la cuenta de la presa que se ha hecho, así de las personas como de las bestias, tú y el sacerdote Eleazar, y las cabezas de los padres de la congregación:

Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:

“Count the plunder that was taken, both of man and of animal, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation;

Et partage par moitié le butin entre les combattants qui sont allés à la guerre, et toute l’assemblée.

Y partirás por mitad la presa entre los que pelearon, los que salieron á la guerra, y toda la congregación.

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:

and divide the plunder into two parts: between the men skilled in war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

Tu lèveras aussi pour l’Eternel un tribut des gens de guerre qui sont allés à la bataille, savoir de cinq cents un, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes et des brebis.

Y apartarás para Jehová el tributo de los hombres de guerra, que salieron á la guerra: de quinientos uno, así de las personas como de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas:

And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:

On le prendra de leur moitié, et tu le donneras à Eléazar le Sacrificateur, en offrande élevée à l’Eternel.

De la mitad de ellos lo tomarás; y darás á Eleazar el sacerdote la ofrenda de Jehová.

Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.

Et de l’autre moitié qui appartient aux enfants d’Israël, tu en prendras à part de cinquante un, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes, des brebis et de tous autres animaux, et tu le donneras aux Lévites qui ont la charge de garder le pavillon de l’Eternel.

Y de la mitad perteneciente á los hijos de Israel tomarás uno de cincuenta, de las personas, de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas, de todo animal; y los darás á los Levitas, que tienen la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová.

And of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.

Of the children of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of the LORD’s tabernacle.”

Et Moïse et Eléazar le Sacrificateur firent comme l’Eternel l’avait commandé à Moïse.

Or le butin, qui était resté du pillage que le peuple qui était allé à la guerre, avait fait, était de six cent soixante et quinze mille brebis ;

Y fué la presa, el resto de la presa que tomaron los hombres de guerra, seiscientas y setenta y cinco mil ovejas,

And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,

Now the plunder, over and above the booty which the men of war took, was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,

Et la moitié du butin, savoir la part de ceux qui étaient allés à la guerre, montait à trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis.

And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:

Dont le tribut pour l’Eternel, quant aux brebis, fut de six cent soixante et quinze.

Y de los asnos, treinta mil y quinientos: y de ellos el tributo para Jehová, setenta y uno.

And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD’s tribute was threescore and one.

Et à seize mille personnes ; dont le tribut pour l’Eternel fut de trente-deux personnes.

Y de las personas, diez y seis mil: y de ellas el tributo para Jehová, treinta y dos personas.

And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD’s tribute was thirty and two persons.

Et Moïse donna à Eléazar le Sacrificateur le tribut de l’offrande élevée de l’Eternel, comme l’Eternel le lui avait commandé.

Even of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Et les capitaines qui avaient charge des milliers de l’armée, tant les chefs des milliers, que les chefs des centaines, s’approchèrent de Moïse,

Y llegaron á Moisés los jefes de los millares de aquel ejército, los tribunos y centuriones;

And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:

The officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses.

Et lui dirent : Tes serviteurs ont fait le compte des gens de guerre qui sont sous notre charge, et il ne s’en manque pas un seul.

Y dijeron á Moisés: Tus siervos han tomado razón de los hombres de guerra que están en nuestro poder, y ninguno ha faltado de nosotros.

And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.

They said to Moses, “Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our command, and there lacks not one man of us.

C’est pourquoi nous offrons l’offrande de l’Eternel, chacun ce qu’il s’est trouvé avoir, des joyaux d’or, des jarretières, des bracelets, des anneaux, des pendants d’oreilles, et des colliers, afin de faire propitiation pour nos personnes devant l’Eternel.

Por lo cual hemos ofrecido á Jehová ofrenda, cada uno de lo que ha hallado, vasos de oro, brazaletes, manillas, anillos, zarcillos, y cadenas, para hacer expiación por nuestras almas delante de Jehová.

We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.

We have brought the LORD’s offering, what every man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.”

Et Moïse et Eléazar le Sacrificateur reçurent d’eux l’or, savoir toute pièce d’ouvrage.

And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.

Or les gens de guerre retinrent chacun pour soi ce qu’ils avaient pillé.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.
