1Und Mose sprach zu den Söhnen Israels gemäß allem, das Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
2Und Mose redete zu den Häuptern der Stämme der Söhne Israels und sprach: Dies ist das Wort, das Jehovah geboten hat:
3So ein Mann ein Gelübde gelobt dem Jehovah, oder einen Schwur schwört, daß er eine Verbindlichkeit auf seine Seele bindet, so soll er sein Wort nicht entweihen, er soll gemäß allem tun, das von seinem Munde ausgegangen ist.
4Und so ein Weib dem Jehovah ein Gelübde gelobt und bindet eine Verbindlichkeit in ihres Vaters Hause, in ihrer Jugend,
5Und ihr Vater hört ihr Gelübde und die Verbindlichkeit, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat, und ihr Vater schweigt stille gegen sie, so bestehen alle ihre Gelübde, und alle Verbindlichkeit, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden, besteht.
6So aber ihr Vater ihr wehrt am Tage, da er irgendein Gelübde von ihr und eine Verbindlichkeit hört, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden, so besteht es nicht, und Jehovah vergibt ihr, weil ihr Vater ihr gewehret hat.
7Gehört sie aber einem Manne an, und hat ein Gelübde auf sich, oder ist etwas über ihre Lippen gefahren, das sie auf ihre Seele bindet,
8Und ihr Mann hört es und schweigt stille gegen sie am Tage seines Hörens, so bestehen ihre Gelübde, und die Verbindlichkeiten, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden, haben Bestand.
9Wenn ihr aber ihr Mann am Tage, da er es hört, wehrt, und er ihr Gelübde zunichte macht, das sie auf sich hat, und das, was über ihre Lippen gefahren, das sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat, so vergibt ihr Jehovah.
10Anlangend das Gelübde einer Witwe und einer Verstoßenen, so besteht für sie alles, was sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat.
11Wenn sie aber im Haus ihres Mannes gelobte, oder mit einem Schwur eine Verbindlichkeit auf ihre Seele gebunden hat,
12Und ihr Mann hört es und schweigt stille dazu vor ihr, wehrt es ihr nicht, so bestehen alle ihre Gelübde, und alle Verbindlichkeit, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden, besteht.
13Wenn ihr Mann aber am Tage, da er davon hört, sie zunichte macht, so soll alles, das von ihren Lippen ausgeht, für ihre Gelübde und für die Verbindlichkeit ihrer Seele nicht bestehen; ihr Mann hat sie zunichte gemacht, und Jehovah vergibt ihr.
14Alles Gelübde und allen Schwur, den sie zur Demütigung ihrer Seele auf sich gebunden, kann ihr Mann bestätigen und ihr Mann zunichte machen.
15Schweigt ihr Mann ihr aber stille dazu von Tag zu Tag, und hat er damit bestätigt alle ihre Gelübde oder alle Verbindlichkeiten, die sie auf sich hat, so hat er sie bestätigt, weil er am Tage, da er es gehört, gegen sie stillegeschwiegen hat.
16Macht er sie aber zunichte, nachdem er sie gehört hat, so trägt er ihre Missetat. Dies sind die Satzungen, die Jehovah Mose geboten hat zwischen dem Mann und seinem Weib, zwischen dem Vater und seiner Tochter in ihrer Jugend im Hause ihres Vaters.

1Y MOISÉS dijo á los hijos de Israel, conforme á todo lo que Jehová le había mandado.
2Y habló Moisés á los príncipes de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado.
3Cuando alguno hiciere voto á Jehová, ó hiciere juramento ligando su alma con obligación, no violará su palabra: hará conforme á todo lo que salió de su boca.
4Mas la mujer, cuando hiciere voto á Jehová, y se ligare con obligación en casa de su padre, en su mocedad;
5Si su padre oyere su voto, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, y su padre callare á ello, todos los votos de ella serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
6Mas si su padre le vedare el día que oyere todos sus votos y sus obligaciones, con que ella hubiere ligado su alma, no serán firmes; y Jehová la perdonará, por cuanto su padre le vedó.
7Empero si fuere casada, é hiciere votos, ó pronunciare de sus labios cosa con que obligue su alma;
8Si su marido lo oyere, y cuando lo oyere callare á ello, los votos de ella serán firmes, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, firme será.
9Pero si cuando su marido lo oyó, le vedó, entonces el voto que ella hizo, y lo que pronunció de sus labios con que ligó su alma, será nulo; y Jehová lo perdonará.
10Mas todo voto de viuda, ó repudiada, con que ligare su alma, será firme.
11Y si hubiere hecho voto en casa de su marido, y hubiere ligado su alma con obligación de juramento,
12Si su marido oyó, y calló á ello, y no le vedó; entonces todos sus votos serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
13Mas si su marido los anuló el día que los oyó; todo lo que salió de sus labios cuanto á sus votos, y cuanto á la obligación de su alma, será nulo; su marido los anuló, y Jehová la perdonará.
14Todo voto, ó todo juramento obligándose á afligir el alma, su marido lo confirmará, ó su marido lo anulará.
15Empero si su marido callare á ello de día en día, entonces confirmó todos sus votos, y todas las obligaciones que están sobre ella: confirmólas, por cuanto calló á ello el día que lo oyó.
16Mas si las anulare después de haberlas oído, entonces él llevará el pecado de ella. Estas son las ordenanzas que Jehová mandó á Moisés entre el varón y su mujer, entre el padre y su hija, durante su mocedad en casa de su padre.

1And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.

1Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded.

5But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows or of her pledges with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. The LORD will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.
6“If she has a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips with which she has bound her soul,
7and her husband hears it, and says nothing to her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her pledges with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
8But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he makes void her vow which is on her and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul. The LORD will forgive her.
9“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.
10“If she vowed in her husband’s house or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,
11and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her and didn’t disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she bound her soul shall stand.
