1Mose teilte dies alles den Israeliten genau so mit, wie der HERR es ihm geboten hatte.
2Darauf sagte Mose zu den Stammeshäuptern der Israeliten: »Folgendes hat der HERR geboten:
3Wenn ein Mann dem HERRN ein Gelübde ablegt oder einen Eid schwört, durch den er sich zu einer Enthaltung verpflichtet, so darf er sein Wort nicht brechen: genau so, wie er es ausgesprochen hat, soll er es auch ausführen.
4Wenn aber eine weibliche Person, die in ihrer Jugend im Hause ihres Vaters lebt, dem HERRN ein Gelübde ablegt oder sich zu einer Enthaltung verpflichtet
5und ihr Vater von ihrem Gelübde oder von der Enthaltung, zu der sie sich verpflichtet hat, Kunde erhält und dann ihr gegenüber dazu schweigt, so sollen alle ihre Gelübde gültig sein, und auch jede Enthaltung, zu der sie sich verpflichtet hat, soll zu Recht bestehen.
6Wenn aber ihr Vater an dem Tage, an dem er davon erfährt, ihr die Genehmigung versagt, so sollen alle ihre Gelübde und alle ihre Enthaltungen, zu denen sie sich verpflichtet hat, ungültig sein; und der HERR wird ihr verzeihen, weil ihr Vater ihr die Genehmigung versagt hat.
7Wenn sie sich dann aber verheiraten sollte, während ihre Gelübde oder ein unbedachter Ausspruch ihrer Lippen, durch den sie sich eine Enthaltung auferlegt hat, für sie noch verbindlich sind,
8und ihr Mann erhält Kunde davon, schweigt aber ihr gegenüber an dem Tage, an dem er davon hört, so sollen ihre Gelübde gültig sein, und die Enthaltungen, zu denen sie sich verpflichtet hat, sollen zu Recht bestehen.
9Wenn aber ihr Mann an dem Tage, an dem er davon erfährt, ihr die Genehmigung versagt, so macht er dadurch das Gelübde, das auf ihr ruht, und den unbedachten Ausspruch ihrer Lippen, durch den sie sich eine Enthaltung auferlegt hat, ungültig, und der HERR wird ihr verzeihen.
10Aber das Gelübde einer Witwe oder einer verstoßenen Frau, alles, wozu sie sich verpflichtet hat, soll für sie verbindlich sein.
11Wenn ferner eine Frau im Hause ihres Mannes etwas gelobt oder sich durch einen Eid zu einer Enthaltung verpflichtet hat
12und ihr Mann Kunde davon erhält, aber ihr gegenüber dazu schweigt und ihr nicht die Genehmigung versagt, so sollen alle ihre Gelübde gültig sein, und jede Enthaltung, zu der sie sich verpflichtet hat, soll zu Recht bestehen.
13Wenn ihr Mann aber an dem Tage, an dem er davon hört, sie für ungültig erklärt hat, so soll nichts von dem, was sie bezüglich ihrer Gelübde und bezüglich der Verpflichtungen zu einer Enthaltung ausgesprochen hat, Gültigkeit haben: ihr Mann hat sie für ungültig erklärt, darum wird der HERR ihr verzeihen.«
14»Jedes Gelübde und jedes eidliche Versprechen einer Enthaltung behufs einer Selbstkasteiung kann ihr Mann für gültig und ebenso für ungültig erklären.
15Wenn aber ihr Mann von einem Tage bis zum andern stillschweigt, so bestätigt er dadurch alle ihre Gelübde oder alle die Enthaltungen, die auf ihr ruhen; er hat sie dadurch bestätigt, daß er ihr gegenüber an dem Tage, an welchem er Kunde davon erhielt, geschwiegen hat.
16Wenn er sie aber erst später aufhebt, nachdem er schon vorher davon gehört hat, so hat er die Verschuldung (seiner Frau) zu tragen.«
17Das sind die Verordnungen, die der HERR dem Mose geboten hat, damit sie Geltung haben zwischen einem Manne und seiner Frau und zwischen einem Vater und seiner Tochter, solange diese in ihrer Jugend im Hause ihres Vaters lebt.

1Y MOISÉS dijo á los hijos de Israel, conforme á todo lo que Jehová le había mandado.
2Y habló Moisés á los príncipes de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado.
3Cuando alguno hiciere voto á Jehová, ó hiciere juramento ligando su alma con obligación, no violará su palabra: hará conforme á todo lo que salió de su boca.
4Mas la mujer, cuando hiciere voto á Jehová, y se ligare con obligación en casa de su padre, en su mocedad;
5Si su padre oyere su voto, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, y su padre callare á ello, todos los votos de ella serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
6Mas si su padre le vedare el día que oyere todos sus votos y sus obligaciones, con que ella hubiere ligado su alma, no serán firmes; y Jehová la perdonará, por cuanto su padre le vedó.
7Empero si fuere casada, é hiciere votos, ó pronunciare de sus labios cosa con que obligue su alma;
8Si su marido lo oyere, y cuando lo oyere callare á ello, los votos de ella serán firmes, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, firme será.
9Pero si cuando su marido lo oyó, le vedó, entonces el voto que ella hizo, y lo que pronunció de sus labios con que ligó su alma, será nulo; y Jehová lo perdonará.
10Mas todo voto de viuda, ó repudiada, con que ligare su alma, será firme.
11Y si hubiere hecho voto en casa de su marido, y hubiere ligado su alma con obligación de juramento,
12Si su marido oyó, y calló á ello, y no le vedó; entonces todos sus votos serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
13Mas si su marido los anuló el día que los oyó; todo lo que salió de sus labios cuanto á sus votos, y cuanto á la obligación de su alma, será nulo; su marido los anuló, y Jehová la perdonará.
14Todo voto, ó todo juramento obligándose á afligir el alma, su marido lo confirmará, ó su marido lo anulará.
15Empero si su marido callare á ello de día en día, entonces confirmó todos sus votos, y todas las obligaciones que están sobre ella: confirmólas, por cuanto calló á ello el día que lo oyó.
16Mas si las anulare después de haberlas oído, entonces él llevará el pecado de ella. Estas son las ordenanzas que Jehová mandó á Moisés entre el varón y su mujer, entre el padre y su hija, durante su mocedad en casa de su padre.

1And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.

8But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he makes void her vow which is on her and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul. The LORD will forgive her.
9“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.
