“Los israelitas deben establecer su campamento alrededor del Tabernáculo de Reunión pero a cierta distancia de él. Cada miembro de cada tribu acampará bajo su propia bandera y estandarte familiar.
Los hijos de Israel acamparán cada uno junto á su bandera, según las enseñas de las casas de sus padres; alrededor del tabernáculo del testimonio acamparán.
Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
“The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses. They shall encamp around the Tent of Meeting at a distance from it.
La tribu de Judá acampará bajo su bandera en el lado este. Su líder es Naasón, hijo de Aminadab,
Estos acamparán al levante, al oriente: la bandera del ejército de Judá, por sus escuadrones; y el jefe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab:
And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
“Those who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

Así que el total de hombres en el territorio de Judá e de 186.400. Y cuando llegue la hora de marcharse, ellos irán a la cabeza.

La tribu de Simeón acampará junto a ellos. Su líder es Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai,

And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

“El Tabernáculo de Reunión que está en el centro del campamento acompañará a los levitas. Deben marchar en el mismo orden en que levantaron el campamento, cada uno en el lugar que le corresponde, bajo su bandera.
Luego irá el tabernáculo del testimonio, el campo de los Levitas en medio de los ejércitos: de la manera que asientan el campo, así caminarán, cada uno en su lugar, junto á sus banderas.
Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
“Then the Tent of Meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps. As they encamp, so shall they set out, every man in his place, by their standards.

The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
“On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
y cuenta con 62.700 hombres.
Y su hueste, con los contados de ellos, sesenta y dos mil y setecientos.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

La tribu de Aser acampará junto a ellos. Su líder es Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán,

And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.
“Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher. The prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ochran.

A continuación estará la tribu de Neftalí. Su líder es Ajirá, hijo de Enán,

Este es un resumen del censo de los israelitas, hecho por familia. El total final de los contados en los campamentos por tribus fue de 603.550.
Estos son los contados de los hijos de Israel, por las casas de sus padres: todos los contados por ejércitos, por sus escuadrones, seiscientos tres mil quinientos y cincuenta.
These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

Sin embargo, los levitas no fueron contados entre los demás israelitas, siguiendo las instrucciones que el Señor le dio a Moisés.

Los israelitas hicieron todo lo que el Señor le ordenó a Moisés. Establecieron sus campamentos bajo sus banderas en sus posiciones asignadas, y marchaban en el mismo orden, cada uno con su propia tribu y familia.
E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme á todas las cosas que Jehová mandó á Moisés; así asentaron el campo por sus banderas, y así marcharon cada uno por sus familias, según las casas de sus padres.
And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
