Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:

«Cada tribu tendrá su propio campamento, con un mástil y la bandera de la tribu; y en el centro de estos campamentos estará el santuario».
Los hijos de Israel acamparán cada uno junto á su bandera, según las enseñas de las casas de sus padres; alrededor del tabernáculo del testimonio acamparán.
Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
“The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses. They shall encamp around the Tent of Meeting at a distance from it.

Campamento del norte Tribu Jefe Situación Censo Dan Ajiezer (hijo de Amisaday) Al norte del santuario 62.700 Aser Paguiel (hijo de Ocrán) Junto a Dan 41.500 Neftalí Ajira (hijo de Enán) Junto a Aser 53.400 El total de los que estaban en el campamento junto a Dan era de ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos. Estos cerraban la marcha cuando Israel se trasladaba.
Estos acamparán al levante, al oriente: la bandera del ejército de Judá, por sus escuadrones; y el jefe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab:
And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
“Those who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
“On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.

“On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

En resumen, los ejércitos de Israel sumaban seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta (sin incluir a los levitas, que quedaban exentos por el mandamiento que el Señor le había dado a Moisés).
Estos son los contados de los hijos de Israel, por las casas de sus padres: todos los contados por ejércitos, por sus escuadrones, seiscientos tres mil quinientos y cincuenta.
These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
These are those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. All who were counted of the camps according to their armies were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.

Así pues, el pueblo de Israel asentó sus campamentos situándose y marchando cada tribu bajo su bandera, en los lugares que el Señor le había indicado a Moisés.
E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme á todas las cosas que Jehová mandó á Moisés; así asentaron el campo por sus banderas, y así marcharon cada uno por sus familias, según las casas de sus padres.
And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
