Vieram então as filhas de Zelofeade, que era filho de Héfer, que era filho de Maquir, que era filho de Manassés; Zelofeade pertencia ao grupo de famílias de Manassés, que era filho de José. Os nomes das filhas de Zelofeade eram Maalá, Noa, Hogla, Milca e Tirza.
Y LAS hijas de Salphaad, hijo de Hepher, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Machîr, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de Manasés, hijo de José, los nombres de las cuales eran Maala, y Noa, y Hogla, y Milca, y Tirsa, llegaron;
Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
Then the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph came near. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
Elas se prostraram à entrada do Tabernáculo diante de Moisés, do sacerdote Eleazar, dos líderes do povo e de toda a comunidade de Israel, e disseram:
Y presentáronse delante de Moisés, y delante del sacerdote Eleazar, y delante de los príncipes, y de toda la congregación, á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y dijeron:
And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

“Nosso pai morreu no deserto. Ele não participou da revolta de Coré, que se ajuntaram contra o Senhor, mas morreu por causa do seu próprio pecado e não teve filhos.
Nuestro padre murió en el desierto, el cual no estuvo en la junta que se reunió contra Jehová en la compañía de Coré: sino que en su pecado murió, y no tuvo hijos.
Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
“Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah, but he died in his own sin. He had no sons.
Então por que o nome de nosso pai deveria desaparecer do seu grupo de famílias por não ter tido filhos? Achamos que deveríamos receber uma propriedade junto com os irmãos de nosso pai”.
¿Por qué será quitado el nombre de nuestro padre de entre su familia, por no haber tenido hijo? Danos heredad entre los hermanos de nuestro padre.
Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he had no son? Give to us a possession among the brothers of our father.”
Então Moisés levou o caso perante o Senhor,
Y Moisés llevó su causa delante de Jehová.
And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

e o Senhor respondeu a Moisés:
Y Jehová respondió á Moisés, diciendo:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
“As filhas de Zelofeade estão certas. Você deve dar a elas uma propriedade por herança entre os parentes de seu pai, e passará a elas a herança de seu pai.
Bien dicen las hijas de Salphaad: has de darles posesión de heredad entre los hermanos de su padre; y traspasarás la heredad de su padre á ellas.
The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
“The daughters of Zelophehad speak right. You shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brothers. You shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
“Diga aos israelitas: Quando um homem morrer e não deixar filhos, a herança pertencerá à sua filha.
Y á los hijos de Israel hablarás, diciendo: Cuando alguno muriere sin hijos, traspasaréis su herencia á su hija:
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.
Se ele não tiver filha, então a herança pertencerá aos irmãos dele.
Y si no tuviere hija, daréis su herencia á sus hermanos:
And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.
E se não tiver irmãos, a herança pertencerá aos irmãos de seu pai.
Y si no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia á los hermanos de su padre.
And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.
If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
E se o pai não tiver irmãos, a herança pertencerá ao parente mais próximo do seu grupo de famílias. Esta lei deve ser obedecida pelos israelitas, como o Senhor ordenou a Moisés”.
Y si su padre no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia á su pariente más cercano de su linaje, el cual la poseerá: y será á los hijos de Israel por estatuto de derecho, como Jehová mandó á Moisés.
And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
If his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman who is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it. This shall be a statute and ordinance for the children of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses.’”
Depois o Senhor disse a Moisés: “Suba até o alto do monte Abarim e olhe a terra que dei ao povo de Israel.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Sube á este monte Abarim, y verás la tierra que he dado á los hijos de Israel.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.
The LORD said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
Depois de ver a terra, você morrerá, como seu irmão Arão,
Y después que la habrás visto, tú también serás reunido á tus pueblos, como fué reunido tu hermano Aarón:
And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered;
porque vocês dois desobedeceram à minha ordem de reconhecer diante deles o meu santo nome, quando a comunidade se rebelou nas águas do deserto de Zim”. Isso aconteceu nas águas de Meribá de Cades, no deserto de Zim.
Pues fuisteis rebeldes á mi dicho en el desierto de Zin, en la rencilla de la congregación, para santificarme en las aguas á ojos de ellos. Estas son las aguas de la rencilla de Cades en el desierto de Zin.
For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
because in the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, to honor me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
Então Moisés disse ao Senhor:
Entonces respondió Moisés á Jehová, diciendo:
And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,
Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,
“Ó Senhor, o Deus que cria e conserva toda a vida, aponte um homem para liderar este povo,
Ponga Jehová, Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, varón sobre la congregación,
Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
“Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
alguém que guie o povo e vá com ele à guerra, para que o povo de Israel não seja como ovelha sem pastor”.
Que salga delante de ellos, y que entre delante de ellos, que los saque y los introduzca; porque la congregación de Jehová no sea como ovejas sin pastor.
Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in, that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.”
Então o Senhor disse a Moisés: “Chame Josué, filho de Num, que tem o Espírito, e imponha as mãos sobre ele.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Toma á Josué hijo de Nun, varón en el cual hay espíritu, y pondrás tu mano sobre él;
And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
The LORD said to Moses, “Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.
Apresente-o ao sacerdote Eleazar e a toda a comunidade e transmita as ordens para ele na presença de todos.
Y ponerlo has delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y delante de toda la congregación; y le darás órdenes en presencia de ellos.
And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.

Ponha sobre ele a sua autoridade, para que todo o povo obedeça ao novo líder.
Y pondrás de tu dignidad sobre él, para que toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel le obedezcan.
And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
You shall give authority to him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.
Ele deverá apresentar-se ao sacerdote Eleazar, que consultará o Urim perante o Senhor para conhecer a vontade do Senhor. Josué e toda a comunidade de Israel seguirão as suas instruções. É assim que o Senhor continuará guiando o povo”.
Y él estará delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y á él preguntará por el juicio del Urim delante de Jehová: por el dicho de él saldrán, y por el dicho de él entrarán, él, y todos los hijos de Israel con él, y toda la congregación.
And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before the LORD. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.”
Moisés fez de acordo com a vontade do Senhor; chamou Josué e o mostrou ao sacerdote Eleazar e a toda a comunidade.
Y Moisés hizo como Jehová le había mandado; que tomó á Josué, y le puso delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y de toda la congregación:
And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
Moses did as the LORD commanded him. He took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.
Impôs as mãos sobre ele e transmitiu as ordens do Senhor e o tornou seu sucessor.
Y puso sobre él sus manos, y dióle órdenes, como Jehová había mandado por mano de Moisés.
And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the LORD spoke by Moses.
