1Nach der Plage aber sprach Jahwe zu Mose und zu Eleasar, dem Sohne Aarons, des Priesters:
2Nehmt die Gesamtzahl der ganzen Gemeinde der Israeliten auf, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, Geschlecht für Geschlecht, alle, die heerespflichtig sind in Israel.
3Und Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, musterten sie in den Steppen Moabs, am Jordan gegenüber Jericho,
4von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, wie Jahwe Mose befohlen hatte. Es waren aber die Israeliten, die aus Ägypten ausgezogen waren:
5Ruben, der Erstgeborne Israels. Die Söhne Rubens waren: Hanoch, von dem das Geschlecht der Hanochiter kommt; von Pallu das Geschlecht der Palluiter;
6von Hezron das Geschlecht der Hezroniter, von Karmi das Geschlecht der Karmiter.
7Das sind die Geschlechter der Rubeniten. Es belief sich aber die Zahl der aus ihnen Gemusterten auf 43730.
8Und die Söhne PaIlus waren: Eliab;
9und die Söhne Eliabs: Remuel, Dathan und Abiram. Das sind jene Ratsherren Dathan und Abiram, die unter der Rotte Korahs mit Mose und Aaron haderten, als diese mit Jahwe haderte,
10worauf die Erde ihren Mund auftat und sie und Korah verschlang, während die Rotte umkam, indem das Feuer die 250 Mann verzehrte, so daß sie zu einem Warnungszeichen wurden;
11die Söhne Korahs aber kamen nicht mit um.
12Die Geschlechter der Söhne Simeons waren diese: von Remuel das Geschlecht der Remueliter; von Jamin das Geschlecht der Jaminiter, von Jachin das Geschlecht der Jachiniter,
13von Serah das Geschlecht der Serahiter, von Saul das Geschlecht der Sauliter.
14Das sind die Geschlechter der Simeoniten: 22200.
15Die Geschlechter der Söhne Gads waren diese: von Zephon das Geschlecht der Zephoniter, von Haggi das Geschlecht der Haggiter, von Suni das Geschlecht der Suniter,
16von Osni das Geschlecht der Osniter, von Eri das Geschlecht der Eriter,
17von Arod das Geschlecht der Aroditer, von Areli das Geschlecht der Areliter.
18Das sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Gads, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 40500.
19Die Söhne Judas waren Er und Onan; es starben aber Er und Onan im Lande Kanaan.
20Es waren aber die Geschlechter der Söhne Judas: von Sela das Geschlecht der Selaniter, von Perez das Geschlecht der Pereziter, von Serah das Geschlecht der Serahiter.
21Und die Söhne Perez waren: von Hezron das Geschlecht der Hezroniter, von Hamul das Geschlecht der Hamuliter.
22Das sind die Geschlechter Judas, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 76500.
23Die Geschlechter der Söhne Issachars waren diese: von Tola das Geschlecht der Tolaiter, von Puwwa das Geschlecht der Puniter,
24von Jasub das Geschlecht der Jasubiter, von Simron das Geschlecht der Simroniter.
25Das sind die Geschlechter Issachars, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 64300.
26Die Geschlechter der Söhne Sebulons waren diese: von Sered das Geschlecht der Serediter, von Elon das Geschlecht der Eloniter, von Jalleel das Geschlecht der Jalleeliter.
27Das sind die Geschlechter der Sebuloniten, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 60500.
28Die Geschlechter der Söhne Josephs waren Manasse und Ephraim.
29Die Söhne Manasses: von Machir das Geschlecht der Machiriter. Machir aber erzeugte Gilead; von Gilead kommt das Geschlecht der Gileaditer.
30Dies sind die Söhne Gileads: Jeser, von dem das Geschlecht der Jesriter kommt; von Helek das Geschlecht der Helekiter,
31von Asriel das Geschlecht der Asrieliter, von Sichem das Geschlecht der Sichemiter,
32von Semida das Geschlecht der Semidaiter, und von Hepher das Geschlecht der Hepheriter.
33Zelophad aber, der Sohn Hephers, hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter, und die Töchter Zelophhads hießen Mahla, Noa, Hogla, Milka und Thirza.
34Das sind die Geschlechter Manasses, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 52700.
35Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Ephraims: von Suthelah das Geschlecht der Suthelahiter, von Becher das Geschlecht der Becheriter, von Tahan das Geschlecht der Tahaniter.
36Und dies waren die Söhne Suthelahs: von Eran das Geschlecht der Eraniter.
37Das sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Ephraims, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden, 32500. Das sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Josephs.
38Die Geschlechter der Söhne Benjamins waren diese: von Bela das Geschlecht der BeIaiter, von Asbel das Geschlecht der Asbeliter, von Ahiram das Geschlecht der Ahiramiter,
39von Supham das Geschlecht der Suphamiter, von Hupham das Geschlecht der Huphamiter.
40Die Söhne BeIas aber waren Ard und Naaman; von Ard kommt das Geschlecht der Arditer, von Naaman das Geschlecht der Naamaniter.
41Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Benjamins, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 45600.
42Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Dans: von Suham das Geschlecht der Suhamiter; das sind die Geschlechter Dans nach ihren Geschlechtern.
43Alle Geschlechter der Suhamiter, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 64400.
44Die Geschlechter der Söhne Assers waren diese: von Jimna das Geschlecht der Jimniter, von Jiswi das Geschlecht der Jiswiter, von Bria das Geschlecht der Briiter;
45von den Söhnen Brias: von Heber das Geschlecht der Hebriter, von Malkiel das Geschlecht der Malkieliter.
46Und die Tochter Assers hieß Serah.
47Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Assers, so viele ihrer gemustert wurden: 53400.
48Die Geschlechter der Söhne Naphthalis waren diese: von Jahzeel das Geschlecht der Jahzeeliter, von Guni das Geschlecht der Guniter,
49von Jezer das Geschlecht der Jezeriter, von Sillem das Geschlecht der Sillemiter.
50Das sind die Geschlechter Naphthalis nach ihren Geschlechtern, und die aus ihnen Gemusterten beliefen sich auf 45400.
51Das sind die von den Israeliten Gemusterten: 601730.
52Und Jahwe redete mit Mose also:
53An diese ist das Land nach Verhältnis der Kopfzahl erblich zu verteilen.
54Dem, der viele Köpfe zählt, sollst du ausgedehnten Erbbesitz geben, dagegen dem, der wenig zählt, einen kleinen Erbbesitz; einem jeden soll mit Rücksicht auf die aus ihm Gemusterten sein Erbbesitz zugewiesen werden.
55Doch soll das Land durch das Los verteilt werden, daß sie es nach den Namen ihrer väterlichen Stämme in Besitz haben.
56Nach dem Lose soll der Erbbesitz zwischen dem, der viele, und dem, der wenig Köpfe zählt, verteilt werden.
57Und dies sind die aus den Leviten Gemusterten, Geschlecht für Geschlecht: von Gerson das Geschlecht der Gersoniter, von Kahath das Geschlecht der Kahathiter, von Merari das Geschlecht der Merariter.
58Dies sind die Geschlechter Levis: das Geschlecht der Libniter, das Geschlecht der Hebroniter, das Geschlecht der Maheliter, das Geschlecht der Musiter, das Geschlecht der Korahiter. Kahath aber erzeugte Amram.
59Und das Weib Amrams hieß Jochebed, eine Tochter Levis, die Levi in Ägypten geboren ward; diese gebar dem Amram Aaron und Mose und ihre Schwester Mirjam.
60Dem Aaron aber wurden Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar geboren.
61Nadab aber und Abihu mußten sterben, als sie ein ungehöriges Feueropfer vor Jahwe brachten.
62Es beliefen sich aber die aus ihnen Gemusterten auf 23000, alles, was männlich war, von einem Monat an und darüber. Denn sie waren nicht mit den übrigen Israeliten gemustert worden, weil ihnen kein Erbbesitz unter den Israeliten verliehen wurde.
63Das sind die von Mose und Eleasar, dem Priester, Gemusterten, welche die Israeliten in den Steppen Moabs am Jordan gegenüber Jericho musterten.
64Unter diesen war aber keiner mehr von denen, welche Mose und Aaron, der Priester, gemustert hatten, welche die Israeliten in der Steppe am Sinai musterten.
65Denn Jahwe hatte ihnen angekündigt, daß sie in der Steppe sterben müßten; so war denn keiner von ihnen übrig geblieben außer Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns.

1Y ACONTECIÓ después de la mortandad, que Jehová habló á Moisés, y á Eleazar hijo del sacerdote Aarón, diciendo:
2Tomad la suma de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, de veinte años arriba, por las casas de sus padres, todos los que puedan salir á la guerra en Israel.
3Y Moisés y Eleazar el sacerdote hablaron con ellos en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán de Jericó, diciendo:
4Contaréis el pueblo de veinte años arriba, como mandó Jehová á Moisés y á los hijos de Israel, que habían salido de tierra de Egipto.
5Rubén primogénito de Israel: los hijos de Rubén: Hanoc, del cual era la familia de los Hanochîtas; de Phallú, la familia de los Phalluitas;
6De Hesrón, la familia de los Hesronitas; de Carmi, la familia de los Carmitas.
7Estas son las familias de los Rubenitas: y sus contados fueron cuarenta y tres mil setecientos y treinta.
8Y los hijos de Phallú: Eliab.
9Y los hijos de Eliab: Nemuel, y Dathán, y Abiram. Estos Dathán y Abiram fueron los del consejo de la congregación, que hicieron el motín contra Moisés y Aarón con la compañía de Coré, cuando se amotinaron contra Jehová;
10Que la tierra abrió su boca y tragó á ellos y á Coré, cuando aquella compañía murió, cuando consumió el fuego doscientos y cincuenta varones, los cuales fueron por señal.
11Mas los hijos de Coré no murieron.
12Los hijos de Simeón por sus familias: de Nemuel, la familia de los Nemuelitas; de Jamín, la familia de los Jaminitas; de Jachîn, la familia de los Jachînitas;
13De Zera, la familia de los Zeraitas; de Saul, la familia de los Saulitas.
14Estas son las familias de los Simeonitas, veinte y dos mil y doscientos.
15Los hijos de Gad por sus familias: de Zephón, la familia de los Zephonitas; de Aggi, la familia de los Aggitas; de Suni, la familia de los Sunitas;
16De Ozni, la familia de los Oznitas; de Eri, la familia de los Eritas;
17De Aroz, la familia de los Aroditas; de Areli, la familia de los Arelitas.
18Estas son las familias de Gad, por sus contados, cuarenta mil y quinientos.
19Los hijos de Judá: Er y Onán; y Er y Onán murieron en la tierra de Canaán.

53A estos se repartirá la tierra en heredad, por la cuenta de los nombres.
54A los más darás mayor heredad, y á los menos menor; y á cada uno se le dará su heredad conforme á sus contados.
55Empero la tierra será repartida por suerte; y por los nombres de las tribus de sus padres heredarán.
56Conforme á la suerte será repartida su heredad entre el grande y el pequeño.
57Y los contados de los Levitas por sus familias son estos: de Gersón, la familia de los Gersonitas; de Coath, la familia de los Coathitas; de Merari, la familia de los Meraritas.
58Estas son las familias de los Levitas: la familia de los Libnitas, la familia de los Hebronitas, la familia de los Mahalitas, la familia de los Musitas, la familia de los Coritas. Y Coath engendró á Amram.
59Y la mujer de Amram se llamó Jochâbed, hija de Leví, la cual nació á Leví en Egipto: ésta parió de Amram á Aarón y á Moisés, y á María su hermana.
60Y á Aarón nacieron Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar é Ithamar.
61Mas Nadab y Abiú murieron, cuando ofrecieron fuego extraño delante de Jehová.
62Y los contados de los Levitas fueron veinte y tres mil, todos varones de un mes arriba: porque no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel, por cuanto no les había de ser dada heredad entre los hijos de Israel.
63Estos son los contados por Moisés y Eleazar el sacerdote, los cuales contaron los hijos de Israel en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán de Jericó.
64Y entre estos ninguno hubo de los contados por Moisés y Aarón el sacerdote, los cuales contaron á los hijos de Israel en el desierto de Sinaí.
65Porque Jehová les dijo: Han de morir en el desierto: y no quedó varón de ellos, sino Caleb hijo de Jephone, y Josué hijo de Nun.

1And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.
3And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
4Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.
5Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:
6Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
7These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.
9And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:
10And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
11Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.
12The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites:
13Of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
15The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni, the family of the Shunites:

37These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:
39Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

43All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.
44Of the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
47These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
48Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:
49Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
51These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
52And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
53Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
55Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.
57And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.
59And the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
62And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
64But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

1After the plague, the LORD spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go out to war in Israel.”
3Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
4“Take a census, from twenty years old and upward, as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel.” These are those who came out of the land of Egypt.
5Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
6of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

20The sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
21The sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
39of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

48The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were counted of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
51These are those who were counted of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.
52The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
53“To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. To everyone according to those who were counted of him shall his inheritance be given.
55Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.”
57These are those who were counted of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.
59The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
62Those who were counted of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not counted among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63These are those who were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
64But among these there was not a man of them who were counted by Moses and Aaron the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65For the LORD had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” There was not a man left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
