Da sprach der HERR zu Mose: Nimm alle Häupter des Volkes und hänge sie dem HERRN auf vor der Sonne, damit die Glut des Zorns des HERRN sich von Israel abwende.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Toma todos los príncipes del pueblo, y ahórcalos á Jehová delante del sol; y la ira del furor de Jehová se apartará de Israel.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters, hat meinen Grimm von den Kindern Israel abgewendet, indem er in meinem Eifer in ihrer Mitte geeifert hat, so dass ich die Kinder Israel nicht in meinem Eifer vertilgt habe.
Phinees, hijo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, ha hecho tornar mi furor de los hijos de Israel, llevado de celo entre ellos: por lo cual yo no he consumido en mi celo á los hijos de Israel.
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

und der Name der erschlagenen midianitischen Frau war Kosbi, die Tochter Zurs; er war Stammhaupt eines Vaterhauses unter den Midianitern.

And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.

Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Befeindet die Midianiter und schlagt sie;
Hostilizaréis á los Madianitas, y los heriréis:
Vex the Midianites, and smite them:
“Harass the Midianites, and strike them;
denn sie haben euch befeindet durch ihre List, womit sie euch überlistet haben in der Sache des Peor und in der Sache der Kosbi, der Tochter eines Fürsten von Midian, ihrer Schwester, die am Tag der Plage wegen des Peor erschlagen wurde.
Por cuanto ellos os afligieron á vosotros con sus ardides, con que os han engañado en el negocio de Peor, y en el negocio de Cozbi, hija del príncipe de Madián, su hermana, la cual fué muerta el día de la mortandad por causa de Peor.
