Mientras Israel estaba establecido en Sitín, algunos de los jóvenes comenzaron a tener relaciones con las muchachas moabitas.

Y REPOSÓ Israel en Sittim, y el pueblo empezó á fornicar con las hijas de Moab:

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

Israel stayed in Shittim; and the people began to play the prostitute with the daughters of Moab;
