Siehe, ein Volk: wie eine Löwin steht es auf, und wie ein Löwe erhebt es sich! Es legt sich nicht nieder, bis es den Raub verzehrt und das Blut der Erschlagenen getrunken hat.

He aquí el pueblo, que como león se levantará, y como león se erguirá: no se echará hasta que coma la presa, y beba la sangre de los muertos.

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Behold, a people rises up as a lioness. As a lion he lifts himself up. He shall not lie down until he eats of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.”
