Da machten sich die Ältesten der Moabiter samt den Ältesten der Midianiter, nachdem sie sich mit Wahrsagerlohn versehen hatten, auf den Weg, kamen glücklich bei Bileam an und teilten ihm das Anliegen Balaks mit.
