Vengan ahora, en respuesta a mi oración, y pongan una maldición sobre esta gente, porque son más grandes que yo: y entonces puedo ser lo suficientemente fuerte para vencerlos y enviarlos fuera de la tierra: porque está claro ese bien le llega al que tiene tu bendición, pero el que pones tu maldición está maldito.
Ven pues ahora, te ruego, maldíceme este pueblo, porque es más fuerte que yo: quizá podré yo herirlo, y echarlo de la tierra: que yo sé que el que tú bendijeres, será bendito, y el que tú maldijeres, será maldito.
Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
Please come now therefore, and curse this people for me; for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall prevail, that we may strike them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”
