5Da sandte er Boten an Bileam, den Sohn Beors, nach Pethor, das am Euphrat liegt, nach dem Lande seiner Volksgenossen, um ihn herbeizurufen, und ließ ihm sagen: Da ist ein Volk aus Ägypten ausgezogen, das hat das Land weit und breit überflutet und nun lagert es mir gegenüber.
