Da sagte Balak zu Bileam: »Habe ich nicht in angemessener Weise zu dir gesandt, um dich rufen zu lassen? Warum bist du nicht sofort zu mir gekommen? Meinst du vielleicht, ich sei nicht imstande, dich zu ehren?«

Y Balac dijo á Balaam: ¿No envié yo á ti á llamarte? ¿por qué no has venido á mí? ¿no puedo yo honrarte?

And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?

Balak said to Balaam, “Didn’t I earnestly send for you to summon you? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I not able indeed to promote you to honor?”
