Balaam répondit à l'ânesse : « Parce que tu t'es moquée de moi ! Si j'avais une épée dans la main, je t'aurais déjà tuée. »

Y Balaam respondió al asna: Porque te has burlado de mí: ¡ojalá tuviera espada en mi mano, que ahora te mataría!

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have mocked me, I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would have killed you.”
