1Und Jehova redete zu Mose in der Wüste Sinai im Zelte der Zusammenkunft, am Ersten des zweiten Monats, im zweiten Jahre nach ihrem Auszuge aus dem Lande Ägypten und sprach:
2Nehmet auf die Summe der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israel nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, alle Männlichen nach ihren Köpfen;
3von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeden, der zum Heere auszieht in Israel, die sollt ihr mustern nach ihren Heeren, du und Aaron.
4Und je ein Mann für den Stamm soll bei euch sein, ein Mann, der das Haupt von seinem Vaterhause ist.
5Und dies sind die Namen der Männer, die euch beistehen sollen: für Ruben: Elizur, der Sohn Schedeurs;
6für Simeon: Schelumiel, der Sohn Zurischaddais;
7für Juda: Nachschon, der Sohn Amminadabs;
8für Issaschar: Nethaneel, der Sohn Zuars;
9für Sebulon: Eliab, der Sohn Helons;
10für die Söhne Josephs: für Ephraim: Elischama, der Sohn Ammihuds; für Manasse: Gamliel, der Sohn Pedazurs;
11für Benjamin: Abidan, der Sohn Gideonis;
12für Dan: Achieser, der Sohn Ammischaddais;
13für Aser: Pagiel, der Sohn Okrans;
14für Gad: Eljasaph, der Sohn Deghuels;
15für Naphtali: Achira, der Sohn Enans.
16Das waren die Berufenen der Gemeinde, die Fürsten der Stämme ihrer Väter; sie waren die Häupter der Tausende Israels.
17Und Mose und Aaron nahmen diese mit Namen bezeichneten Männer,
18und sie versammelten die ganze Gemeinde am ersten des zweiten Monats. Und sie ließen sich in die Geburtsverzeichnisse eintragen nach ihren Geschlechtern, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, nach ihren Köpfen;
19wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte. Und so musterte er sie in der Wüste Sinai.
20Und es waren die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, nach ihren Köpfen, alle Männlichen von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,

22Von den Söhnen Simeons: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, seine Gemusterten nach der Zahl der Namen, nach ihren Köpfen, alle Männlichen von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
23ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Simeon, neunundfünfzigtausend dreihundert.
24Von den Söhnen Gads: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
25ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Gad, fünfundvierzigtausend sechshundertfünfzig.
26Von den Söhnen Judas: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
27ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Juda, vierundsiebzigtausend sechshundert.
28Von den Söhnen Issaschars: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,

31die Gemusterten vom Stamme Sebulon, siebenundfünfzigtausend vierhundert.
32Von den Söhnen Josephs: von den Söhnen Ephraims: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
33ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Ephraim, vierzigtausend fünfhundert.
34Von den Söhnen Manasses: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
35ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Manasse, zweiunddreißigtausend zweihundert.

41ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Aser, einundvierzigtausend fünfhundert.
42Die Söhne Naphtalis: ihre Geschlechter nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach der Zahl der Namen, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog,
43ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Naphtali, dreiundfünfzigtausend vierhundert.
44Das sind die Gemusterten, welche Mose und Aaron und die Fürsten Israels musterten, die zwölf Männer: es waren je ein Mann für sein Vaterhaus.
45Und es waren alle Gemusterten der Kinder Israel, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, jeder, der zum Heere auszog in Israel:
46es waren alle die Gemusterten sechshundertunddreitausend fünfhundertfünfzig.
47Aber die Leviten nach dem Stamme ihrer Väter wurden nicht unter ihnen gemustert.
48Denn Jehova hatte zu Mose geredet und gesagt:
49Nur den Stamm Levi sollst du nicht mustern und ihre Summe nicht aufnehmen unter den Kindern Israel,
50sondern bestelle du die Leviten über die Wohnung des Zeugnisses und über all ihr Gerät und über alles, was zu ihr gehört: Sie sollen die Wohnung und all ihr Gerät tragen, und sie sollen sie bedienen und sich rings um die Wohnung lagern.
51Und wenn die Wohnung aufbricht, sollen die Leviten sie abnehmen; und wenn die Wohnung sich lagert, sollen die Leviten sie aufrichten. Der Fremde aber, der herzunaht, soll getötet werden.
52Und die Kinder Israel sollen sich lagern, ein jeder in seinem Lager und ein jeder bei seinem Panier, nach ihren Heeren.
53Die Leviten aber sollen sich rings um die Wohnung des Zeugnisses lagern, daß nicht ein Zorn über die Gemeinde der Kinder Israel komme; und die Leviten sollen der Hut der Wohnung des Zeugnisses warten.
54Und die Kinder Israel taten nach allem was Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte; also taten sie.

2Tomad el encabezamiento de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, con la cuenta de los nombres, todos los varones por sus cabezas:
3De veinte años arriba, todos los que pueden salir á la guerra en Israel, los contaréis tú y Aarón por sus cuadrillas.
4Y estará con vosotros un varón de cada tribu, cada uno cabeza de la casa de sus padres.
5Y estos son los nombres de los varones que estarán con vosotros: De la tribu de Rubén, Elisur hijo de Sedeur.
6De Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisaddai.
7De Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab.
8De Issachâr, Nathanael hijo de Suar.
9De Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.
10De los hijos de José: de Ephraim, Elisama hijo de Ammiud; de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur.
11De Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeón.
12De Dan, Ahiezer hijo de Ammisaddai.
13De Aser, Phegiel hijo de Ocrán.
14De Gad, Eliasaph hijo de Dehuel.
15De Nephtalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.
16Estos eran los nombrados de la congregación, príncipes de las tribus de sus padres, capitanes de los millares de Israel.
17Tomó pues Moisés y Aarón á estos varones que fueron declarados por sus nombres:
18Y juntaron toda la congregación en el primero del mes segundo, y fueron reunidos sus linajes, por las casas de sus padres, según la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años arriba, por sus cabezas,
19Como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés; y contólos en el desierto de Sinaí.
20Y los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;
21Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Rubén, fueron cuarenta y seis mil y quinientos.
22De los hijos de Simeón, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, los contados de ellos conforme á la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;

42De los hijos de Nephtalí, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;
43Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Nephtalí, cincuenta y tres mil y cuatrocientos.
44Estos fueron los contados, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, con los príncipes de Israel, que eran doce, uno por cada casa de sus padres.
45Y fueron todos los contados de los hijos de Israel por las casas de sus padres, de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra en Israel;
46Fueron todos los contados seiscientos tres mil quinientos y cincuenta.
47Pero los Levitas no fueron contados entre ellos según la tribu de sus padres.
48Porque habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
49Solamente no contarás la tribu de Leví, ni tomarás la cuenta de ellos entre los hijos de Israel:
50Mas tú pondrás á los Levitas en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y sobre todos sus vasos, y sobre todas las cosas que le pertenecen: ellos llevarán el tabernáculo y todos sus vasos, y ellos servirán en él, y asentarán sus tiendas alrededor del tabernáculo.
51Y cuando el tabernáculo partiere, los Levitas lo desarmarán; y cuando el tabernáculo parare, los Levitas lo armarán: y el extraño que se llegare, morirá.
52Y los hijos de Israel asentarán sus tiendas cada uno en su escuadrón, y cada uno junto á su bandera, por sus cuadrillas;
53Mas los Levitas asentarán las suyas alrededor del tabernáculo del testimonio, y no habrá ira sobre la congregación de los hijos de Israel: y los Levitas tendrán la guarda del tabernáculo del testimonio.
54E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme á todas las cosas que mandó Jehová á Moisés; así lo hicieron.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
3From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
4And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
5And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
9Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.

19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
21Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
22Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
23Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

44These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

46Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
48For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
49Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
50But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
51And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
52And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
53But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
54And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

3from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
4With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.
5These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

18They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
21those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
23those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
25those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
27those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

44These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
45So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
46all those who were counted were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them.
48For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
53But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
54Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
