1Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
2Sprich zu Eleasar, dem Sohn Aarons, dem Priester, dass er die Räucherpfannen aus dem Brand herausnehme; und streue das Feuer weg, denn sie sind heilig.
3Die Räucherpfannen dieser Männer, die gegen ihre Seele gesündigt haben, – man mache daraus breitgeschlagene Bleche zum Überzug für den Altar; denn sie haben sie vor dem HERRN dargebracht, und so sind sie heilig; und sie sollen den Kindern Israel zum Zeichen sein.
4Und Eleasar, der Priester, nahm die kupfernen Räucherpfannen, die die Verbrannten dargebracht hatten, und man schlug sie breit zum Überzug für den Altar,
5als ein Gedächtnis für die Kinder Israel, damit kein Fremder, der nicht von den Nachkommen Aarons ist, herzunahe, um Räucherwerk vor dem HERRN zu räuchern, und es ihm nicht ergehe wie Korah und seiner Rotte, – so wie der HERR durch Mose zu ihm geredet hatte.
6Und die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israel murrte am anderen Morgen gegen Mose und gegen Aaron und sprach: Ihr habt das Volk des HERRN getötet!
7Und es geschah, als die Gemeinde sich gegen Mose und gegen Aaron versammelte, da wandten sie sich zu dem Zelt der Zusammenkunft, und siehe, die Wolke bedeckte es, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien.
8Da gingen Mose und Aaron vor das Zelt der Zusammenkunft.
9Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
10Hebt euch weg aus der Mitte dieser Gemeinde, und ich will sie vernichten in einem Augenblick! Da fielen sie auf ihr Angesicht.
11Und Mose sprach zu Aaron: Nimm die Räucherpfanne und tu Feuer vom Altar darauf und lege Räucherwerk auf, und bring es schnell zu der Gemeinde und tu Sühnung für sie; denn der Zorn ist ausgegangen von dem HERRN, die Plage hat begonnen.
12Und Aaron nahm die Räucherpfanne, so wie Mose geredet hatte, und lief mitten unter die Versammlung, und siehe, die Plage hatte unter dem Volk begonnen; und er legte das Räucherwerk auf und tat Sühnung für das Volk.
13Und er stand zwischen den Toten und den Lebendigen, und der Plage wurde gewehrt.
14Und es waren derer, die an der Plage starben, 14.700, außer denen, die Korahs wegen gestorben waren.
15Und Aaron kam wieder zu Mose an den Eingang des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft, als der Plage gewehrt war.
16Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
17Rede zu den Kindern Israel und nimm von ihnen je einen Stab für ein Vaterhaus, von allen ihren Fürsten, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, zwölf Stäbe; du sollst den Namen eines jeden auf seinen Stab schreiben.
18Und den Namen Aarons sollst du auf den Stab Levis schreiben; denn ein Stab soll für jedes Haupt ihrer Vaterhäuser sein.
19Und du sollst sie in das Zelt der Zusammenkunft vor das Zeugnis niederlegen, wo ich mit euch zusammenkomme.
20Und es wird geschehen: Der Mann, den ich erwählen werde, dessen Stab wird sprossen; und so werde ich vor mir stillen das Murren der Kinder Israel, das sie gegen euch murren.
21Und Mose redete zu den Kindern Israel, und alle ihre Fürsten gaben ihm je einen Stab für einen Fürsten, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, zwölf Stäbe; und der Stab Aarons war unter ihren Stäben.
22Und Mose legte die Stäbe vor dem HERRN nieder in das Zelt des Zeugnisses.
23Und es geschah am nächsten Tag, als Mose in das Zelt des Zeugnisses hineinging, siehe, da hatte der Stab Aarons, vom Haus Levi, gesprosst: Er hatte Sprossen getrieben und Blüten gebracht und Mandeln gereift.
24Und Mose brachte alle die Stäbe heraus vor dem HERRN weg zu allen Kindern Israel, und sie sahen sie und nahmen jeder seinen Stab.
25Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Bring den Stab Aarons vor das Zeugnis zurück, um ihn als ein Zeichen für die Widerspenstigen aufzubewahren, so dass du ihrem Murren vor mir ein Ende machst, und sie nicht sterben.
26Und Mose tat es; so wie der HERR ihm geboten hatte, so tat er.
27Und die Kinder Israel sprachen zu Mose und sagten: Siehe, wir vergehen, wir kommen um, wir alle kommen um!
28Jeder, der irgend zur Wohnung des HERRN naht, der stirbt: Sollen wir denn allzumal vergehen?

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á los hijos de Israel, y toma de ellos una vara por cada casa de los padres, de todos los príncipes de ellos, doce varas conforme á las casas de sus padres; y escribirás el nombre de cada uno sobre su vara.
3Y escribirás el nombre de Aarón sobre la vara de Leví; porque cada cabeza de familia de sus padres tendrá una vara.
4Y las pondrás en el tabernáculo del testimonio delante del testimonio, donde yo me declararé á vosotros.
5Y será, que el varón que yo escogiere, su vara florecerá: y haré cesar de sobre mí las quejas de los hijos de Israel, con que murmuran contra vosotros.
6Y Moisés habló á los hijos de Israel, y todos los príncipes de ellos le dieron varas; cada príncipe por las casas de sus padres una vara, en todas doce varas; y la vara de Aarón estaba entre las varas de ellos.
7Y Moisés puso las varas delante de Jehová en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
8Y aconteció que el día siguiente vino Moisés al tabernáculo del testimonio; y he aquí que la vara de Aarón de la casa de Leví había brotado, y echado flores, y arrojado renuevos, y producido almendras.
9Entonces sacó Moisés todas las varas de delante de Jehová á todos los hijos de Israel; y ellos lo vieron, y tomaron cada uno su vara.
10Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Vuelve la vara de Aarón delante del testimonio, para que se guarde por señal á los hijos rebeldes; y harás cesar sus quejas de sobre mí, porque no mueran.
11E hízolo Moisés: como le mandó Jehová, así hizo.
12Entonces los hijos de Israel hablaron á Moisés, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos muertos, perdidos somos, todos nosotros somos perdidos.
13Cualquiera que se llegare, el que se acercare al tabernáculo de Jehová morirá: ¿acabaremos de perecer todos?

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
3And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
4And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
5And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
6And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
7And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
8And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
9And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
10And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
11And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
12And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
13Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and take rods from them, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.
3You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
4You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the covenant, where I meet with you.
5It shall happen that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud. I will make the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you, cease from me.”
6Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, a total of twelve rods. Aaron’s rod was among their rods.
7Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
8On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
9Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the children of Israel. They looked, and each man took his rod.
10The LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”
11Moses did so. As the LORD commanded him, so he did.
12The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
13Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”
