1Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
2Sage Eleasar, dem Sohn Aarons, des Priesters, daß er die Pfannen aufhebe aus dem Brande und streue das Feuer hin und her.
3Denn die Pfannen solcher Sunder sind geheiliget durch ihre Seele, daß man sie zu breiten Blechen schlage und den Altar damit behange; denn sie sind geopfert vor dem HERRN und geheiliget und sollen den Kindern Israel zum Zeichen sein.
4Und Eleasar, der Priester, nahm die ehernen Pfannen, die die Verbrannten geopfert hatten, und schlug sie zu Blechen, den Altar zu behangen,
5zum Gedachtnis der Kinder Israel, daß nicht jemand Fremdes sich herzumache, der nicht ist des Samens Aaron, zu opfern Rauchwerk vor dem HERRN, auf daß ihm nicht gehe wie Korah und seiner Rotte, wie der HERR ihm geredet hatte durch Mose.
6Des andern Morgens aber murrete die ganze Gemeine der Kinder Israel wider Mose und Aaron und sprachen: Ihr habt des HERRN Volk getotet!
7Und da sich die Gemeine versammelte wider Mose und Aaron, wandten sie sich zu der Hütte des Stiffs. Und siehe, da bedeckte es die Wolke, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien.
8Und Mose und Aaron gingen hinein zu der Hütte des Stiffs.
9Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
10Hebet euch aus dieser Gemeine; ich will sie plotzlich vertilgen. Und sie fielen auf ihr Angesicht.
11Und Mose sprach zu Aaron: Nimm die Pfanne und tue Feuer drein vom Altar und lege Rauchwerk drauf, und gehe eilend zu der Gemeine und versohne sie; denn das Wüten ist von dem HERRN ausgegangen, und die Plage ist angegangen.
12Und Aaron nahm, wie ihm Mose gesagt hatte, und lief mitten unter die Gemeine (und siehe, die Plage war angegangen unter dem Volk) und raucherte und versohnete das Volk.
13Und stund zwischen den Toten und Lebendigen. Da ward der Plage gewehret.
14Derer aber, die an der Plage gestorben waren, war vierzehntausendundsiebenhundert, ohne die, so mit Korah starben.
15Und Aaron kam wieder zu Mose vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts, und der Piage ward gewehret.
16Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
17Sage den Kindern Israel und nimm von ihnen zwolf Stecken, von jeglichem Fürsten seines Vaters-Hauses einen, und schreibe eines jeglichen Namen auf seinen Stecken.
18Aber den Namen Aarons sollst du schreiben auf den Stecken Levis. Denn je fur ein Haupt ihrer Vater Hauses soil ein Stecken sein.
19Und lege sie in die Hütte des Stifts vor dem Zeugnis, da ich euch zeuge.
20Und welchen ich erwahlen werde, des Stecken wird grünen, daß ich das Murren der Kinder Israel, das sie wider euch murren, stille.
21Mose redete mit den Kindern Israel; und alle ihre Fürsten gaben ihm zwolf Stecken, ein jeglicher Fürst einen Stecken, nach dem Hause ihrer Vater; und der Stecken Aarons war auch unter ihren Stecken.
22Und Mose legte die Stecken vor den HERRN in der Hütte des Zeugnisses.
23Des Morgens aber, da Mose in die Hütte des Zeugnisses ging, fand er den Stecken Aarons, des Hauses Levi, grünen, und die Blüte aufgegangen und Mandeln tragen.
24Und Mose trug die Stecken alle heraus von dem HERRN vor alle Kinder Israel, daß sie es sahen; und ein jeglicher nahm seinen Stecken.
25Der HERR sprach aberzu Mose: Trage den Stecken Aarons wieder vor das Zeugnis, daß er verwahret werde zum Zeichen den ungehorsamen Kindern, daß ihr Murren von mir aufhore, daß sie nicht sterben.
26Mose tat, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte.
27Und die Kinder Israel sprachen zu Mose: Siehe, wir verderben und kommen um; wir werden alle vertilget und kommen um.
28Wer sich nahet zu der Wohnung des HERRN, der stirbt. Sollen wir denn gar untergehen?

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á los hijos de Israel, y toma de ellos una vara por cada casa de los padres, de todos los príncipes de ellos, doce varas conforme á las casas de sus padres; y escribirás el nombre de cada uno sobre su vara.
3Y escribirás el nombre de Aarón sobre la vara de Leví; porque cada cabeza de familia de sus padres tendrá una vara.
4Y las pondrás en el tabernáculo del testimonio delante del testimonio, donde yo me declararé á vosotros.
5Y será, que el varón que yo escogiere, su vara florecerá: y haré cesar de sobre mí las quejas de los hijos de Israel, con que murmuran contra vosotros.
6Y Moisés habló á los hijos de Israel, y todos los príncipes de ellos le dieron varas; cada príncipe por las casas de sus padres una vara, en todas doce varas; y la vara de Aarón estaba entre las varas de ellos.
7Y Moisés puso las varas delante de Jehová en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
8Y aconteció que el día siguiente vino Moisés al tabernáculo del testimonio; y he aquí que la vara de Aarón de la casa de Leví había brotado, y echado flores, y arrojado renuevos, y producido almendras.
9Entonces sacó Moisés todas las varas de delante de Jehová á todos los hijos de Israel; y ellos lo vieron, y tomaron cada uno su vara.
10Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Vuelve la vara de Aarón delante del testimonio, para que se guarde por señal á los hijos rebeldes; y harás cesar sus quejas de sobre mí, porque no mueran.
11E hízolo Moisés: como le mandó Jehová, así hizo.
12Entonces los hijos de Israel hablaron á Moisés, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos muertos, perdidos somos, todos nosotros somos perdidos.
13Cualquiera que se llegare, el que se acercare al tabernáculo de Jehová morirá: ¿acabaremos de perecer todos?

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
3And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
4And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
5And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
6And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
7And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
8And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
9And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
10And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
11And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
12And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
13Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and take rods from them, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.
3You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
4You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the covenant, where I meet with you.
5It shall happen that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud. I will make the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you, cease from me.”
6Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, a total of twelve rods. Aaron’s rod was among their rods.
7Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
8On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
9Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the children of Israel. They looked, and each man took his rod.
10The LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”
11Moses did so. As the LORD commanded him, so he did.
12The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
13Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”
