Or, Coré, fils de Jitsehar, fils de Kehath, fils de Lévi, fit une entreprise avec Dathan et Abiram, fils d'Éliab, et On, fils de Péleth, enfants de Ruben;

Y CORÉ, hijo de Ishar, hijo de Coath, hijo de Leví; y Dathán y Abiram, hijos de Eliab; y Hon, hijo de Peleth, de los hijos de Rubén, tomaron gente,

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took some men.

Et ils s'élevèrent contre Moïse, avec deux cent cinquante hommes des enfants d'Israël, des principaux de l'assemblée, qu'on appelait au conseil, des hommes de renom.

Y levantáronse contra Moisés con doscientos y cincuenta varones de los hijos de Israel, príncipes de la congregación, de los del consejo, varones de nombre;

And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

They rose up before Moses, with some of the children of Israel, two hundred fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown.

Ils s'assemblèrent donc contre Moïse et contre Aaron, et leur dirent: Que cela vous suffise! car tous ceux de l'assemblée sont consacrés, et l'Éternel est au milieu d'eux; pourquoi donc vous élevez-vous au-dessus de l'assemblée de l'Éternel?

Y se juntaron contra Moisés y Aarón, y les dijeron: Básteos, porque toda la congregación, todos ellos son santos, y en medio de ellos está Jehová: ¿por qué, pues, os levantáis vosotros sobre la congregación de Jehová?

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and the LORD is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above the LORD’s assembly?”

Moïse, entendant cela, se jeta sur son visage.

Y como lo oyó Moisés, echóse sobre su rostro;

And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

When Moses heard it, he fell on his face.

Et il parla à Coré et à tous ceux qui étaient assemblés avec lui, en disant: Demain matin, l'Éternel fera connaître qui est à lui, et qui est consacré, et il le fera approcher de lui; il fera approcher de lui celui qu'il aura choisi.

Y habló á Coré y á todo su séquito, diciendo: Mañana mostrará Jehová quién es suyo, y al santo harálo llegar á sí; y al que él escogiere, él lo allegará á sí.

And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

He said to Korah and to all his company, “In the morning, the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him. Even him whom he shall choose, he will cause to come near to him.

Faites ceci: Prenez des encensoirs, Coré, et tous ceux qui sont assemblés avec lui;

Haced esto: tomaos incensarios, Coré y todo su séquito:

This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;

Do this: have Korah and all his company take censers,

Et demain mettez-y du feu, et déposez-y du parfum devant l'Éternel; et l'homme que l'Éternel choisira, c'est celui-là qui lui est consacré. Que cela vous suffise, enfants de Lévi!

Y poned fuego en ellos, y poned en ellos sahumerio delante de Jehová mañana; y será que el varón á quien Jehová escogiere, aquél será el santo: básteos esto, hijos de Leví.

And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

put fire in them, and put incense on them before the LORD tomorrow. It shall be that the man whom the LORD chooses, he shall be holy. You have gone too far, you sons of Levi!”

Et Moïse dit à Coré: Écoutez maintenant, enfants de Lévi.

Dijo más Moisés á Coré: Oid ahora, hijos de Leví:

And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:

Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi!

Est-ce trop peu pour vous, que le Dieu d'Israël vous ait séparés de l'assemblée d'Israël, pour vous faire approcher de lui, afin de faire le service de la Demeure de l'Éternel, et pour assister devant l'assemblée, afin de la servir;

¿Os es poco que el Dios de Israel os haya apartado de la congregación de Israel, haciéndoos allegar á sí para que ministraseis en el servicio del tabernáculo de Jehová, y estuvieseis delante de la congregación para ministrarles?

Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of the LORD’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;

Et qu'il t'ait fait approcher, ainsi que tous tes frères, les enfants de Lévi avec toi, que vous recherchiez encore le sacerdoce?

¿Y que te hizo acercar á ti, y á todos tus hermanos los hijos de Leví contigo; para que procuréis también el sacerdocio?

And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? Do you seek the priesthood also?

C'est pourquoi, toi et tous ceux qui sont assemblés avec toi, vous vous êtes assemblés contre l'Éternel! Car qui est Aaron, que vous murmuriez contre lui?

Por tanto, tú y todo tu séquito sois los que os juntáis contra Jehová: pues Aarón, ¿qué es para que contra él murmuréis?

For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

Therefore you and all your company have gathered together against the LORD! What is Aaron that you complain against him?”

Et Moïse envoya appeler Dathan et Abiram, fils d'Éliab; mais ils répondirent: Nous ne monterons pas.

Y envió Moisés á llamar á Dathán y Abiram, hijos de Eliab; mas ellos respondieron: No iremos allá:

And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:

Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, “We won’t come up!

Est-ce peu de chose que tu nous aies fait monter hors d'un pays où coulent le lait et le miel, pour nous faire mourir dans le désert, que tu veuilles aussi dominer sur nous?

¿Es poco que nos hayas hecho venir de una tierra que destila leche y miel, para hacernos morir en el desierto, sino que también te enseñorees de nosotros imperiosamente?

Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but you must also make yourself a prince over us?

Certes, tu ne nous as pas fait venir dans un pays où coulent le lait et le miel! Et tu ne nous as pas donné un héritage de champs ni de vignes! Veux-tu crever les yeux de ces gens? Nous ne monterons pas.

Ni tampoco nos has metido tú en tierra que fluya leche y miel, ni nos has dado heredades de tierras y viñas: ¿has de arrancar los ojos de estos hombres? No subiremos.

Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

Moreover you haven’t brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We won’t come up.”

Et Moïse fut fort irrité, et il dit à l'Éternel: Ne regarde point à leur offrande; je n'ai pas pris d'eux un seul âne, et je n'ai point fait de mal à un seul d'entre eux.

Entonces Moisés se enojó en gran manera, y dijo á Jehová: No mires á su presente: ni aun un asno he tomado de ellos, ni á ninguno de ellos he hecho mal.

And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, “Don’t respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them.”

Puis Moïse dit à Coré: Toi et tous ceux qui sont assemblés avec toi, trouvez-vous demain devant l'Éternel, toi et eux, avec Aaron.

Después dijo Moisés á Coré: Tú y todo tu séquito, poneos mañana delante de Jehová; tú, y ellos, y Aarón:

And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:

Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company go before the LORD, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow.

Et prenez chacun votre encensoir, mettez-y du parfum, et présentez devant l'Éternel chacun votre encensoir, deux cent cinquante encensoirs; toi et Aaron, ayez aussi chacun votre encensoir.

Y tomad cada uno su incensario, y poned sahumerio en ellos, y allegad delante de Jehová cada uno su incensario: doscientos y cincuenta incensarios: tú también, y Aarón, cada uno con su incensario.

And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.

Each man take his censer and put incense on it, and each man bring before the LORD his censer, two hundred fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each with his censer.”

Ils prirent donc chacun leur encensoir, ils y mirent du feu, et y déposèrent du parfum, et ils se tinrent à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation, ainsi que Moïse et Aaron.

Y tomaron cada uno su incensario, y pusieron en ellos fuego, y echaron en ellos sahumerio, y pusiéronse á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio con Moisés y Aarón.

And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.

They each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.

Et Coré réunit contre eux toute l'assemblée, à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation, et la gloire de l'Éternel apparut à toute l'assemblée.

Ya Coré había hecho juntar contra ellos toda la congregación á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio: entonces la gloria de Jehová apareció á toda la congregación.

And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

Korah assembled all the congregation opposite them to the door of the Tent of Meeting. The LORD’s glory appeared to all the congregation.

Puis l'Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, en disant:

Y Jehová habló á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Séparez-vous du milieu de cette assemblée, et je les consumerai en un moment.

Apartaos de entre esta congregación, y consumirlos he en un momento.

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!”

Et ils se jetèrent sur leur visage, et dirent: O Dieu, Dieu des esprits de toute chair, un seul homme a péché, et tu t'indignerais contre toute l'assemblée!

Y ellos se echaron sobre sus rostros, y dijeron: Dios, Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, ¿no es un hombre el que pecó? ¿y airarte has tú contra toda la congregación?

And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”

Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, en disant:

Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Parle à l'assemblée, et dis-lui: Retirez-vous d'autour de la demeure de Coré, de Dathan et d'Abiram.

Habla á la congregación, diciendo: Apartaos de en derredor de la tienda de Coré, Dathán, y Abiram.

Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

“Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from around the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram!’”

Et Moïse se leva et alla vers Dathan et Abiram; et les anciens d'Israël le suivirent.

Y Moisés se levantó, y fué á Dathán y á Abiram; y los ancianos de Israel fueron en pos de él.

And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Et il parla à l'assemblée, en disant: Éloignez-vous maintenant des tentes de ces hommes méchants, et ne touchez à rien qui leur appartienne, de peur que vous ne périssiez pour tous leurs péchés.

Y él habló á la congregación, diciendo: Apartaos ahora de las tiendas de estos impíos hombres, y no toquéis ninguna cosa suya, por que no perezcáis en todos sus pecados.

And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart, please, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins!”

Ils se retirèrent donc d'autour de la demeure de Coré, de Dathan et d'Abiram. Et Dathan et Abiram sortirent, et se tinrent debout à l'entrée de leurs tentes, avec leurs femmes, leurs fils et leurs petits enfants.

Y apartáronse de las tiendas de Coré, de Dathán, y de Abiram en derredor: y Dathán y Abiram salieron y pusiéronse á las puertas de sus tiendas, con sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus chiquitos.

So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

So they went away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.

Et Moïse dit: A ceci vous connaîtrez que l'Éternel m'a envoyé pour faire toutes ces choses, et que je n'ai rien fait de moi-même:

Y dijo Moisés: En esto conoceréis que Jehová me ha enviado para que hiciese todas estas cosas; que no de mi corazón las hice.

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for they are not from my own mind.

Si ces gens-là meurent comme tous les hommes meurent, et s'ils sont punis comme tous les hommes le sont, l'Éternel ne m'a point envoyé;

Si como mueren todos los hombres murieren éstos, ó si fueren ellos visitados á la manera de todos los hombres, Jehová no me envió.

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they experience what all men experience, then the LORD hasn’t sent me.

Mais si l'Éternel crée une chose toute nouvelle, et que la terre ouvre sa bouche, et les engloutisse avec tout ce qui leur appartient, et qu'ils descendent vivants au Sépulcre, vous saurez que ces hommes ont méprisé l'Éternel.

Mas si Jehová hiciere una nueva cosa, y la tierra abriere su boca, y los tragare con todas sus cosas, y descendieren vivos al abismo, entonces conoceréis que estos hombres irritaron á Jehová.

But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

But if the LORD makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall understand that these men have despised the LORD.”

Et dès qu'il eut achevé de prononcer toutes ces paroles, le sol qui était sous eux, se fendit;

Y aconteció, que en acabando él de hablar todas estas palabras, rompióse la tierra que estaba debajo de ellos:

And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split apart.

Et la terre ouvrit sa bouche, et les engloutit avec leurs familles, et tous les hommes qui étaient à Coré, et tout leur bien.

Y abrió la tierra su boca, y tragólos á ellos, y á sus casas, y á todos los hombres de Coré, y á toda su hacienda.

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.

Ils descendirent, eux et tout ce qui leur appartenait, vivants au Sépulcre, et la terre les couvrit; et ils périrent du milieu de l'assemblée.

Y ellos, con todo lo que tenían, descendieron vivos al abismo, y cubriólos la tierra, y perecieron de en medio de la congregación.

They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.

Et tout Israël, qui était autour d'eux, s'enfuit à leur cri; car ils disaient: Prenons garde que la terre ne nous engloutisse!

Y todo Israel, los que estaban en derredor de ellos, huyeron al grito de ellos; porque decían: No nos trague también la tierra.

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

All Israel that were around them fled at their cry; for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!”

Et un feu sortit, de la part de l'Éternel, et dévora les deux cent cinquante hommes qui offraient le parfum.

Y salió fuego de Jehová, y consumió los doscientos y cincuenta hombres que ofrecían el sahumerio.

And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Fire came out from the LORD, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the incense.

Puis l'Éternel parla à Moïse, en disant:

Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Dis à Éléazar, fils d'Aaron, le sacrificateur, qu'il ramasse les encensoirs du milieu de l'embrasement, et répands-en le feu au loin; car ils ont été consacrés.

Di á Eleazar, hijo de Aarón sacerdote, que tome los incensarios de en medio del incendio, y derrame más allá el fuego; porque son santificados:

Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.

“Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire away from the camp; for they are holy,

Quant aux encensoirs de ceux qui ont péché contre leurs âmes, qu'on en fasse de larges plaques pour couvrir l'autel. Puisqu'ils les ont présentés devant l'Éternel, ils ont été consacrés; et ils serviront de signe aux enfants d'Israël.

Los incensarios de estos pecadores contra sus almas: y harán de ellos planchas extendidas para cubrir el altar: por cuanto ofrecieron con ellos delante de Jehová, son santificados; y serán por señal á los hijos de Israel.

The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.

even the censers of those who sinned against their own lives. Let them be beaten into plates for a covering of the altar, for they offered them before the LORD. Therefore they are holy. They shall be a sign to the children of Israel.”

Éléazar, le sacrificateur, prit donc les encensoirs d'airain qu'avaient présentés ceux qui avaient été brûlés, et l'on en fit des plaques pour couvrir l'autel,

Y el sacerdote Eleazar tomó los incensarios de metal con que los quemados habían ofrecido; y extendiéronlos para cubrir el altar,

And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:

Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which those who were burned had offered; and they beat them out for a covering of the altar,

En mémorial aux enfants d'Israël, afin qu'un étranger, qui n'est point de la race d'Aaron, ne s'approche point pour faire fumer le parfum devant l'Éternel, et qu'il ne soit comme Coré et comme ceux qui s'assemblèrent avec lui, ainsi que l'Éternel le lui avait dit par Moïse.

En recuerdo á los hijos de Israel que ningún extraño que no sea de la simiente de Aarón, llegue á ofrecer sahumerio delante de Jehová, porque no sea como Coré, y como su séquito; según se lo dijo Jehová por mano de Moisés.

To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger who isn’t of the offspring of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before the LORD, that he not be as Korah and as his company; as the LORD spoke to him by Moses.

Or le lendemain, toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël murmura contre Moïse et contre Aaron, en disant: Vous avez fait mourir le peuple de l'Éternel.

El día siguiente toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel murmuró contra Moisés y Aarón, diciendo: Vosotros habéis muerto al pueblo de Jehová.

But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people!”

Et il arriva, comme l'assemblée se formait contre Moïse et contre Aaron, qu'ils regardèrent vers le tabernacle d'assignation, et voici, la nuée le couvrit, et la gloire de l'Éternel apparut.

Y aconteció que, como se juntó la congregación contra Moisés y Aarón, miraron hacia el tabernáculo del testimonio, y he aquí la nube lo había cubierto, y apareció la gloria de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.

When the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the Tent of Meeting. Behold, the cloud covered it, and the LORD’s glory appeared.

Et Moïse et Aaron vinrent devant le tabernacle d'assignation.

Y vinieron Moisés y Aarón delante del tabernáculo del testimonio.

And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.

Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.

Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, en disant:

Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Otez-vous du milieu de cette assemblée, et je les consumerai en un moment. Mais ils tombèrent sur leurs visages,

Apartaos de en medio de esta congregación, y consumirélos en un momento. Y ellos se echaron sobre sus rostros.

Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

“Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!” They fell on their faces.

Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Prends l'encensoir, mets-y du feu de dessus l'autel et déposes-y du parfum, et va promptement vers l'assemblée, et fais l'expiation pour eux; car l'indignation est sortie de devant l'Éternel; la plaie a commencé.

Y dijo Moisés á Aarón: Toma el incensario, y pon en él fuego del altar, y sobre él pon perfume, y ve presto á la congregación, y haz expiación por ellos; porque el furor ha salido de delante de la faz de Jehová: la mortandad ha comenzado.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.

Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, put fire from the altar in it, lay incense on it, carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the LORD! The plague has begun.”
