3Et pourquoi l'Éternel nous conduit-il vers ce pays, pour y tomber par l'épée? Nos femmes et nos petits enfants y seront une proie. Ne vaudrait-il pas mieux pour nous, de retourner en Égypte?

3And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
