Perdona, ti prego, secondo la misericordia tua grande, il peccato di questo popolo, come fosti propizio a costoro, dacché uscirono dall'Egitto fino a questo luogo.

Perdona ahora la iniquidad de este pueblo según la grandeza de tu misericordia, y como has perdonado á este pueblo desde Egipto hasta aquí.

Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

Please pardon the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness, and just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”
