Da überliefertest du sie der Gewalt ihrer Bedränger; die bedrängten sie hart. Wenn sie aber in Bedrängnis waren, schrieen sie zu dir, und du erhörtest sie vom Himmel her und gabst ihnen nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit Retter, damit diese sie aus der Gewalt ihrer Bedränger erretteten.
Y entregástelos en mano de sus enemigos, los cuales los afligieron: y en el tiempo de su tribulación clamaron á ti, y tú desde los cielos los oíste; y según tus muchas miseraciones les dabas salvadores, que los salvasen de mano de sus enemigos.
Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
