17Ils refusèrent d'écouter, et ne se souvinrent point des merveilles que tu avais faites en leur faveur, mais ils raidirent leur cou, et dans leur rébellion ils se donnèrent un chef, pour retourner dans leur servitude. Mais toi, qui es un Dieu qui pardonnes, miséricordieux, pitoyable, lent à la colère, et abondant en grâce, tu ne les abandonnas point.

17Y no quisieron oir, ni se acordaron de tus maravillas que habías hecho con ellos; antes endurecieron su cerviz, y en su rebelión pensaron poner caudillo para volverse á su servidumbre. Tú empero, eres Dios de perdones, clemente y piadoso, tardo para la ira, y de mucha misericordia, que no los dejaste.

17And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
