E fosti loro condottiere in una colonna di nube il giorno, e in una colonna di fuoco la notte, affinchè vedessero la strada, per cui camminare.

Y con columna de nube los guiaste de día, y con columna de fuego de noche, para alumbrarles el camino por donde habían de ir.

Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
