1Era ya llegado el mes séptimo, y los hijos de Israel que estaban cada uno en su ciudad, congregándose todos unánimes, y de común acuerdo, en la plaza que cae enfrente de la puerta de las Aguas, y pidieron a Esdras, escriba o doctor, que trajese el libro de la ley de Moisés, que había dado el Señor a Israel.

1Y JUNTÓSE todo el pueblo como un solo hombre en la plaza que está delante de la puerta de las Aguas, y dijeron á Esdras el escriba, que trajese el libro de la ley de Moisés, la cual mandó Jehová á Israel.
